He was here again, the people of this city knowing him simply by his size and bulk. His heavy weight easily carried under the thick armor that was almost never taken off. His size made him a target for the stupid, reckless, or even skilled that wanted to take on a challenge. Yet here he was, in public again, drinking at the same bar he came to every day, listening to the whispers of his name.
Ican wasn't exactly a celebrity in Ivon, though he was known. It would be hard to go unnoticed, not because of his size, but because of those he had killed. If anything, Ican could barely hold back enough for the few Capture the Flags and the couple Knock Outs. Sitting close to the flag as a guard was boring as all Hell, considering those that saw him either ran away in fear or were stopped so easily. It was hard to hold back, but not as hard as the other. The Knock Out Arena was so much worse. He ended up putting his opponents into a near death state that many sudgested not doing it again. It wouldn't help to break the rules. So, after so few, he had decided to stay in the Killing Arena. It was easier that way, simple really. Just kill the other guy. Doesn't get any easier to understand than that.
Ican looked around. The eyes that were on him quickly looked the other way. He snorted, chugging the rest of his drink before chucking it at a random person. "Oi! What the Hell do you-" The man cut himself off when he saw who it was. Ican didn't even look at him. It was too easy to make these people angry. The trick was finding someone who would do something about it. The man went back to his friends at the table as if nothing had happened. Ican let out a long sigh, putting coins on the table for the drink. He got up and left the building, everyone watching as he went.
Thwacker waited for him, the weapon as large as Ican himself. It was really just a hunk of metal used for bashing purposes. It worked for Ican though, plus, not many others can lift the damn thing, so not many others could steal it. Bonus! He took hold of the hilt, shouldering it and starting to walk in a random direction.
"Capture The Flag will being shortly. All participants must be at the Gates of their cities and signed the sheet before the game begin. All citizens in between Avon and Ivon must go to their cities immediately. Capture The Flag will begin shortly.”
Ican wondered if he should join this one. If he did, it meant more boring guard duty. If anything, he'd probably end up sleeping on the flag pole and wait for someong to disturb him. Nah, it wasn't worth it. He then wondered if he could make it to Hibee's in time. The guards would have trouble stopping him, and the contestants wouldn't bother with him. He's get an earfull from HiBee though. WOuldn't be the first time, and besides, Ican had a thing for the large woman. Her fearlessness was something he didn't see often, and her power was something he never sqaw in any other person. She could very well kill him... Oh well. No time to settle down. Still so many more people to kill that think they can take him on.
Regardless of this, Ican still found himself heading towards the battle ground. Before he knew it, Ican was at the gate and signed in. His so called "team" stared in amazment. They thought this was a sure fire win. Ican couldn't care less.
