Melissa sat on the counter in the small classroom. The school didn't really use it anymore so her and a few other kids used it as a gathering place. She gazed out the window looking at the few kids that seemed to roam around the parking lot. As quiet as she was, Melissa still longed for the attention of some people.

"Hi Junpei" She knew he probably couldn't hear her, her voice was to soft to be spoken loudly with. Melissa slid off the counter and joined the few kids that were already in the classroom.

Junpei sauntered through the crowded halls of the school returning the greetings of several random students he didn't know. You see he was one of the more popular guys in school not that he wanted to be, he hated all the attention, something had just clicked when he transferred to this school and soon enough he had his own little group of followers. Mostly he kept up his popular appearance but his one guilty pleasure was the Jr. Detective League, possibly the least popular club there and one that earned him a good amount of teasing from other students. He didn't mind it though it was a place he could just be himself. Lost in thought he made it to the door of club room quicker then he had expected.

Junpei turned into the room and nearly bumped into a guy standing in the doorway. He quickly skirted by and took a seat next to Momoki who he called Momo for short."So Momo, we're taking another case off of a rumor eh?" he asked with a sigh. The last couple of times that had taken cases like this it had ended with him almost being suspended for breaking onto school property after hours. Junpei looked up to the guy in the doorway, "Oh you're still there, you know it's difficult to get in here with you blocking the door, and who are you anyway? Someone wanting to join the least reputable club in school? he chuckled at his comment and started reading over what little information they had about the current case.

The girl bobbed her head to the beat of her song. Listening to the music as she waited for class to start. With only one headphone in she could still hear the music and students talking to each other. Just as the song ended, the girl glanced at the group next to her desk. They were talking about a ghost. The ghost to be correct. There were many rumors that flowed throughout the school of Motoshira's, though Momoki believed none of it. The fact of the matter was kids will talk about anything that seems to be the slightest of interest. Pulling the headphone out her ear, she leaned close to the group.


Momoki tried to correct the gossiping students. Though the group just looked at her until one perked up. "Sakura's friend saw the ghost with her own eyes!" Then another piped up, "Yeah and so did the senior in class 3A." As these students defended such a ridiculous rumor it dawned on Momoki. This could be the perfect case! She was no ghost hunter, but a detective and as a detective she had to prove truth from the fake. So proving that there was no ghost she could put a end to these silly rumors!

Detective Momo went into action and before class the girl got both students names who claimed to have seen the ghost. Now it was up to her to solve the case! Well the group club would have to tag along to. Hopefully they wouldn't slow her down.

When the bell rang for the end of classes. It was time for clubs! Which was the best time of the day! Momoki didn't waste time darting to the club room. She had been putting together a list of students to question, throughout the whole day. What she was looking for was how their stories related and what were the differences.

Bursting through the club door, she rushed over to the chalk board. Slamming a picture of a ghost on the board. It was stuck there all thanks to tap. "Our very first case! The mysterious of Motoshira's Ghost!" She shouted, in a cheerful tone. She knew this was a great case, now she just had to get the rest of the club to this so too.
