Vivian jumped to the ground landing lightly on her feet as she left the Value-Mart having grabbed all she needed. Tonight was going to be a short run she only needed some food not a whole lot so she could relax a little. After all, she had managed to snag a lot last week since she had managed to leave earlier than usual so she was more caught up than usual.
Lookng into her bag she decided she had enough food for herself so only had to stop once more and snag sone for Caria. Vivian closed her eyes briefly as she walked, Caria. That poor girl, she has everything going for het a 12 year old should. Beautiful, smart, funny, and kind.
All except for the fact she was an orphan. Well she was staying with vivian but that pretty much made her an orphan and while vivian did all she could... there was only so much she could do. Shaking her head she went back to the task at hand and as she went to take a short cur through an alley she knew she stopped hearing something.
Stepping forward she paused in shock as she processed what was going on in front of her eyes. There was a man dying on the ground and as she stared she slowly noticed the man almost completly concealed by the blackness standing over him. "No!" She gasped horrified, the black knight. He was supposed to be a myth!
Her pliers she used to break into shops clattered to the floor as dis her bag which burst open upon the ground. Vivians mind was freaking out. Sje had never sern somone really.sick let alone dying of a stab wound! And all that she could think was oh god I'm next, please no no no she slowly shook het head as she slowly backed away leaving the bag on the ground not wanting to alert him of her presence further by lifting it. She couldnt die this way, she knew she deserved it she really did she knew she was scum and yes she was a master thief but..
This was not the way to die at 16.

Blood splattered.
He killed again, there was no mercy behind the dark blue eyes as he pulled out his blade, watching as the man below him grasped for straws, grasped for breath that would not come to his lungs. The dark figure just watched, a mask covering any emotion that might appear on his face as well as his identity. The Black Knight, killer of the night...hero to some, enemy to others.
This was what he knew how to do.
This was what he was trained to do.
This...this was his so called destiny that he could not avoid.
At least, that was what the old man keep telling him, whacking him over the head with a stick with each wrong movement during drills...He felt no regret now as he stepped away from the blood bath. 'Kill without mercy, never regret...forget the night.' The words ran through his mind as he played them over and over, pushing away any feelings that might have happened...
Feelings that might have been there before. During the first few months and the first year he would find himself warring against his consciousness that wished to stray from blood shed...but that was long ago. Now, now he told himself he did no care...
Though he would never be able to keep the guilt from coming back during his sleep, torturing him with each man or woman he killed.
'Keep going, you're not done yet tonight.' He thought to himself with a scowl, making his way through the shadows of the night as he kept his eyes alert and his muscles loose, ready to fight, ready to kill.

The sun had set an hour ago in the city of carling and the night was coming alive with the sounds of survival, the sounds of people fighting to live. It was a very common sound to Vivian as she lived this every single day of her life.
Rolling out of bed she pulled on her black yoga pants and black sweater, her usual work attire. Well if you could call theifing a job that is and as mmuch as she hated it, it was this or starve. It was this or die and Vivian wasnt quite ready for that yet.
Slinking out of her room she boarded she crept out of the house and pulled out her notebook which kept track of her rounds, noddong to herself she took off toward the Value Mart surprised they yadnt figured out she was stealing from them yet.
She scaled the wall, made possible by the sticking out bricks and reached the ledge made of four sticking out bricks, swinging her arms she jumped the last four feet to the window and slipped inside disabling the alarm as soon as she was inside. Sighing she walked down stairs and started filling her bag with food. She never took for thay 30 dollars worth from one place, it was why she visted a bunch of places she didnt like stealing but no one wants to hire a 16 year old girl whos a drop out with a record. So.. stealing it was.
