"hey koda where were you at lunch today..with mallory" i ask looking at my best friend as she makes her way towards me

The boss nods at me and i nod back as i walk into the back to drop my stuff off and get changed. I take the small key off of my neckless and unlock my locker then put the key back. I change into my black v-neck , pull my hair back and pull the regulation apron on. I look into the mirror and frown slightly at the mess of my hair. All the hair dye, straightening, and hair products are really starting to take its tole on it. I throw my backpack inside my locker before locking it up, and heading to the front.

i make my way back to school not really all that interested anymore now that the main reason i go is at work now. i parked my truck and made my way to my next class and ran into Kristina

I walk into the cafe nervously, Blake has even better grades then me, so he has more credits and therefor less classes then me. He comes in everyday and seats in here doing homework or whatever while i work. He talks to me and jokes around, and my bosses encourage him, they like him. I like him to of course he is my friend, but so is koda but koda isn't JUST my friend shes my friends with benefits, though lately it seems she wants to be more... GOD i wish life was less confusing, and i could just KNOW the answers like i do in school.

i watch her walk into the coffee shop and i can tell she is nervous about telling me she loves me back.. i wont push her but i dot want to lose her to someone else.

"Oh ok good, cause you know me, i dont do skirts or dresses." I smile. we sit mostly in silent on the way to my work, and my mind goes through random thoughts. Koda stops the truck in front of the coffee shop, and kisses me softly i kiss her back. I barley hear her whispered words and i hope she dosnt realize im ignoring them, when i hop out of the truck and say "So i'll see ya tonight," i smile at her before going inside. Its not that i dont love her im just not sure if i love her like that yet, i'm not sure im ready for this yet.

"yes babe i got jeans i just normally wear them outside of school when I'm working with my cousins on their farm member' i say with a small smile as i start up the truck and drive her to work.. once we get there i stop the truck and lean over and kiss her softly before whispering "i love you"

I Get into koda's car before replying "well if you take me home my parents will expect me to stay there. So how about i just borrow something of your for tomorrow? You do have things that arnt black right? and other then skirts and dresses?" I ask slightly worried since i had never seen her in jeans.

i let her lead me out the door and back to my truck. i opened her door and let her in, never taking my eyes off her "ugh fine but only for you....i'll pick you up tonight and take you to your place so u can get some cloths for tomorrow ok babe"
