Homosexual-Drama-Romance-Slice of Life
Adagio-In a leisurely manner; slowly.
Taylor Kranz is a proud father of two beautiful five year olds. They are his everything and the only thing keeping him afloat. Teachers salary, dead wife and a few other issues that Taylor refuses to acknowledge makes the man's life a living hell. One of the issues he refuses to acknowledge is about his current boyfriend of two years. The man is what keeps Taylor financially afloat but the man is a sadistic bastard and an abusive drunk. To make matters worse the man practically spends his life drunk as fuck. Luckily he never raises his hand against Taylor when the kids are present nor where the wounds can easily be seen. As much as Taylor wants to leave the man he cannot and fears what will happen if he did leave the man.
[X] is one of the most spoken of businessman of the decade. He is intelligent, handsome and anything else a woman would want in a man, too bad he is never interested in them. If he is interested in a woman it is for a booty call and nothing else. [X] feels like he has no time to form a relationship with his busy work schedule.
And yet he makes room after bumping into the Teacher twice.
Their first meeting was a business meeting. [X] was going to a party and Taylor happened to be in the string quartet that was playing at the rather annoyingly stuffy party. [X] only glanced over at the violinist and spoke to him once after the party and that was the end of their first meeting.
The second time they met was an accident. The wifi was down at Taylor's and his boyfriend's house and Taylor needed to grade some papers. So where to go? Go to Starbucks and grade papers until the Wifi was fixed. His daughter, who had been with her grandparents earlier went to throw away some trash and accidentally bumped into [X] who was getting coffee and avoiding a meeting. Well she had to bump into him at a perfect time, right when he had coffee in one hand and the other his phone. Coffee spilled all over him, causing him to blow up on Taylor who had came to the rescue of his daughter. With a few words Taylor got the man to calm down just enough to talk.
After that they started meeting up at the very same Starbucks every Friday around five. Sometimes Taylor would grade papers and other times they would just talk. But good things cannot last forever especially when Taylor's boyfriend is getting suspicious.
-There WILL be romance but to reach that we must take it is steps. There cannot and will not be instant romance. They will start off as Strangers to Friends to Lovers, that transition will take time.
-Will X find out about the abuse? Yes. Later in the roleplay.
-Cybering will be taken to email or Timeskipped. Do not ask me what I want for I can careless.
-Drugs, sex, drama, swearing, violence? Please. I want this to be drama filled! BUT I do not want high school drama and drama that is unbelievable. This is a slice of life. Meaning turning into a vampire is not something too fear.
-My intro will begin when Taylor is playing for the Party. We will talk and then skip to Starbucks.

Lightly tanned fingers ghosted over the dark purple skin, refraining from putting any pressure on the bruise at all. A look of disgust filled the mans face as he came to the end of the bruise. It was rather pathetic that a grown man can still be smacked and tossed around like a rag doll. Letting his finger's linger at the end of it for a moment longer he removed his hand and just stared at the mirror. The bruise was right under his left nipple and extended out a bit the very sight made Taylor cringe. The night he acquired the wound had been one of the worse nights yet with Stephan. Said man had gotten in a fight with Taylor over the dumbest thing ever and had stormed out of the house. By three in the morning he returned and did everything his drunken mind could do to harm Taylor and not wake the children. The night had ended with Taylor calling in sick to nurse his wounds.
Most of what had occurred that night were fading away into yellow or were no longer presents. Only two things remained from the man's beating and that was a few cracked ribs and the nasty bruise all of which would heal in time.
Taylor's musing ended by the sound of two tiny voices arguing with each other on who would get the last cookie. Glancing over his shoulder the man quickly buttoned up his shirt, completing the last button by the time the bedroom door was slammed open and two little children could be seen glaring daggers at each other. “Whats the problem?”
Taylor asked turning to look at his two little angles. All at once they were talking over each other, trying to win over the last cookie causing Taylor to smile his thoughts on the bruise forgotten. “Dad! It is no fair!”
a voice whined not thinking that the other sibling should get the cookie. “Daddy,”
the other voice added. Taylor looked between his son Zachary and daughter Danielle who went back to arguing. “How about I eat the cookie?”
He said just to get glared at by the two. “B-But,”
Zachary began just to have his twin finish his sentence for him. “We want it Daddy.”
The man rolled his eyes as he bent over and picked up the two, lightly tossing them onto the bed not far off and laying down. Danielle climbed up on Taylor and rested her chin on the man's chest. “Daddy,”
she whined once more. Taylor winced as she put pressure on his wounds but said nothing about it. “Danny we do have ice cream sandwiches,”
he said pointing out there were other things for them to eat. The girl was instantly off her father's chest bouncing with eagerness. “Really?”
Zachary asked just as excited. Taylor nodded and the moment he did he was abandoned. A sigh escaped Taylor's lips as he looked at the bedside table. Stephan should be back from work in thirty minutes and in an hour Taylor should be leaving to go play with his old quartet.
Leaving his bed Taylor finished dressing in one of his few suits. Between the bruise and the suit Taylor had to say he hated the suit a hundred times more. It was nuisance while playing the violin but he had to look good.
Once he was done he gathered his violin and moved to the living room where he was promptly sat on by his daughter and son who had given up on trying to get their ice cream sandwiches. They remained there watching tv until Stephan came home.
Taylor sat their, eyes on the other three as they all took three deep breaths. His and two other instruments were poised in the air as they breathed. They had practice twice when Taylor had came but now was the real deal and though all had been playing their respected instruments for years they were still slightly nervous. By the fourth exhale they went into action, bows drawing across the strings.
As they played they moved like they were one person, not for separate beings. Their worry of a mistake was completely gone as they ignored the outside world. Their world was the sheet music in front of them and each other. Every now and then they would break away from this small world to change songs but other than that it was them and no one else. Taylor for one was devouring the music that laid on the staff, his fingers falling down into place and his right arm moving without thought to draw the bow across the four strings. Every now and then they would turn to pizzicato and the bow would be held so that he may pluck the strings but that was all done without much thought. Taylor was entranced in the classical music that engulfed him.
Yet the musical world ended all too quickly for Taylor. As their last piece came to an end they stood, bowed and began to pack up. A tingle of sadness filling Taylor as he moved to put his violin back into the red velvet lined case. The musical realm was the only place where he could let his mind wander and wandering it did. It was his friend who elbowed him that caught Taylor's attention. Forcing a smile on his lips he turned all his attention to the man who was standing there. “How can I help,”
he asked as he started to loosen the tension in the bow.
