Alice Renalds is the only child in her family. Well that's biological that is. Her parents had gotten a divorce when she was ten and they had a joint custody of her. When she turned fifteen her stepfather had came into her room in the early morning and raped her after her mother had left for work. Her mother wouldn't believe her that he did that and called her crazy. When she was at her father's house one weekend two of her half brothers had raped her when they threw a small party while their father and her stepmother were out for dinner. She had never trusted anybody after those incidents.

Three years later, Alice is a freshman in college to be a novelist and living on campus dorms to be away from her families. One day in the beginning of her first day her creative writing teacher had paired everyone in the class up for a creative writing project. The two people paired up had to write story of two people that had been best friends for years start to fall in love. The twist of the story is that they had to put some of their life experiences in the story. They have to make the story interesting enough and had to be at least five pages long and due at the end of the term. Alice was paired up with guy 1 and they start writing. She knew that she had to trust guy 1 about her past in order for them to get a decent grade for the class.

One morning she was early getting to the local coffee shop in town. She ordered a coffee and sat at one of the tables waiting for her partner to show up. She waited an hour for her partner and had a feeling that he wouldn't show. So she got her things and finished whatever coffee she had left and left the coffee shop to head to the bookstore. She looks for several books that she found interesting and decided to buy them accidentally dropping her school ID when she was paying and left. Guy 2 worked at the local bookstore and had found her ID and he had recognized her in a class they both shared. He had figured that they both had the same class together to return it.

Two years passed and guy 2 hadn't given her ID back. Guy 1 and Alice had became somewhat friends. What will happen between the three?

Guy 1: A cute, but nerdy guy
Guy 2: Model-type guy
