Timberland, California is a small town that is in the middle of nowhere. Population is 2,000 people and newcomers are looked at weirdly. Eliza is a new comer and looking for a place to live. Her parents had kicked her out when she hit eighteen with very little cash and its been almost two months since then. She lived with friends, but always left before the crack of dawn. She used the last of her money when she took a bus into town. Eliza finds a flyer saying "ONE ROOM LEFT! LOOKING FOR THE LAST ROOMIE!" and an address underneath the big bold letters. She got directions from a local shopkeeper and headed to the house. What she didn't expect to find is a very beautiful four story home. She had knocked on the door and the one who answered it was a tall and handsome guy in his early twenties. When she had showed him the flyer he let her in and showed her around. What she didn't know was that the other two housemates were a vampire and werewolf.

jake looked over at drew and gave him a wink. "Well I guess drew is the lucky one at the least." laughing just a little bit Jake went and pulled a book from across the room and sat back down in his own chair. "Oh Romeo oh Romeo where are thou Romeo." he laughed slightly to himself. "Last time I remember Romeo and Juliet were only thirteen years old. But that would mean that back then they also died young, so they married young. Wonder why the marriage age went up if at all."

When Eliza had heard that Jake was a vampire she was basically finished with her food. This was a lot for her to take in. She had gotten up and headed to the kitchen. She put her plate in the sink. Vampire and Werewolf. I'm not dreaming am I? She thought as she washed her face and dried it. This is going to be interesting. She thought as she came back out to where they were. "Ummm...I'm going for a walk for a bit." She told them as she headed upstairs to get her shoes. Once she had her shoes she headed downstairs and then looked at them. "Ummmm....Drew since I am new here mind showing me around?" She asked him.

Jake came in to the living room as soon as Tasha had outed herself to Eliza. The three of them hadn't even decided if they wanted her as a roommate, and they not only moved her in but also are telling her the secrets of the house. This was going to be interesting for sure. Jake came into the room and sat in his oval chair. The chair itself was made out of ceder wood and the cushion was made from polar bear fur, when the animals actually could be killed. "Well lucky go Tasha has outed herself to our roommate, but not her boyfriend wonder how that is gunna turn out if she has that conversation at all." he chuckled a little bit, but his face had kept its dead serious look.
"Well this is gunna be interesting for sure, but I am the vampire of the house. Yep I am a vampire. I am lets just say old."

Eliza watched the twins go to talk about whatever and when they came back to their spots she looked at the both of them curiously. When Tasha was talking about herself being a werewolf she almost choked on a piece of the burger she was eating. She got the iced tea and took a couple of sips. It took a few minutes for all the information to sink in. She looked at Drew when he added he was human and then back at Tasha. Werewolf... That word seem to stick in her head. "What is this town made of? Are there other supernatural beings out there too?" She felt like Tasha being a werewolf didn't faze her. She read about the supernatural and her mind was open to possibilites. She looked at Drew who was looking at her with curious eyes. "I'm alright." She said to him. "I guess I'm a bit used to this. I mean I never met a werewolf before. I mean I read about them and about vampires and ghosts and other supernatural stuff. And I kept my mind open for possibilites." She said to them rambling a bit.

Drew wasn't so sure Tasha should be telling Eliza she was a werewolf. It would be first person she's told outside of their family, Jake knew because he was a werewolf and there was no hiding the fact that Tasha was a wolf from a vampire. But not even her boyfriend of a few years knew half of her life, why was she telling someone she just met? It didn't quite make sense to him, sure he'd been the one to suggest the two of them share their secrets with their roommate, but now that Tasha was actually going to do so, it didn't make sense. Drew wished she'd wait a little longer, that she'd think this all the way through, but she'd made up her mind, and it was nearly impossible to change Tasha's mind once it'd been made up. He could only hope she knew what she was doing.
Drew followed his sister back into the living room and took his spot back on the couch as Tasha took hers in her hanging chair. He looked to Eliza, wondering what her emotions would be and how she'd react to Tasha's news. He'd taken quite a liking to the new girl and he hoped it wouldn't scare her off. When Tasha was finished he added, "I'm human," As if that would make the situation any different. Tasha shot him a look and he glanced back at her with an apology and a slight shrug. He looked at Eliza, sitting next to him, with curious blue eyes that were nearly identical to Tasha's.

"That sounds perfect," Jourdyn said. She found herself glancing towards the kitchen quite frequently, wondering if Jake was going to join them or not. Then she remembered Ryan, she had told him she'd be right back, it's been well over an hour...he was probably pissed. Telling herself she'd fix it later she tried to relax and pay attention to everything that was going on with Eliza. Drew was mostly silent, just eating his burger in silence. Tasha and Drew were nearly opposite in personality, but it hadn't always been that way, it had started when they had lost their mother at eight years old and when she started shifting at age twelve. Tasha had felt as if it had been her responsibility to uphold the Wolff house after their mother passed, she cooked to the best her ability, she cleaned the house, made sure Drew did his homework... She'd become so mature, that of late teen, she barely had time to play with other kids or even her brother. Drew had felt sorry for her, as did their father, and the two of them helped Tasha with everything they could. Their father, Lyle, had taken up the cooking and part of the cleaning, Drew had made sure to do all of his own homework and help his sister with what she was struggling in and helped with the cleaning. Tasha was happier, everyone could see it in her and feel it, Drew and Tasha played outside together, they played with the other kids from school. She was a kid again. But as she started shifting, she'd mostly stayed in her room, lying in bed with nothing on a pair of shorts and a sports bra. She looked as if she were dying, and if it hadn't been for Lyle knowing that this was the change, she would've gone to the hospital. She lost time with friends, lost time with her brother, her grades went down, and all of this stayed this way until her freshman year in high school; three years later. By then she'd learned of being a werewolf, of having a living wolf inside her; and she'd learned how to control it and what it needed to be tamed. That's when she started working out with Drew in their spare time, and then that wasn't enough and she practiced with Drew's soccer team at school, as her elective she took Strong Body; one of the only girls in school who did. This earned her a lot of attention from the guys and Drew became that more protective of her, but this was also how she'd caught the eye of Ryan; Drew's teammate on the Soccer team. If it hadn't been for the wolf she so despised, she would've never met Ryan, and the two never would've fallen in love. This, at least, she was grateful for of the wolf.
Jourdyn, finished with her first burger, leaned over and set her plate down on the floor beneath her chair. Her sparkling blue eyes became distant and she swallowed noisily, becoming nervous. Drew glanced up at her, knowing what she was thinking, and stood up. "Eliza, will you excuse us for a moment, Tasha I need to talk to you." Drew walked over to his sister and took her hand, nearly tugging her off the chair. The two of them disappeared around the corner and into the hallway, out of sight and earshot of Eliza. "Be sure that telling her your secret is what's best before you tell her." He told her cautiously. Drew was always the one to protect his sister from anything and anyone, even if that meant telling someone her secret and it wasn't a good thing, he'd be sure to tell her what she was getting herself into.
"I know Drew, but she has a right to know what exactly she's getting herself into... I won't tell Jake's secret, that's his to share or to keep; but this is mine." She explained, Drew just sighed, he couldn't argue with her, he could just hope for the best. The twins went back to their spots and Tasha sat down hesitantly. She looked at the blonde girl and took a deep breath. "My name is Tasha Quinn Wolff, all three of my names translate into "wolf" one way or another. There's a reason..." She paused suddenly and then continued hesitantly. "Eliza, I'm a werewolf, I shift into a wolf every full moon and any time I feel like I need to. But, you are completely safe here Eliza, with me you are." She explained, she hoped Eliza would understand...

Eliza had take the spot that was left on the couch and sat down following the twins on what they were doing. She took a bite of the burger and took her time eating it. It was at least two days since she had a decent meal. She took a sip of her iced tea and then looked at the three people. "So...about the rent. I can find a job in town and work there and save up my paycheck to pay whatever is necessary to pay for." She said to them as she took another bite of the burger.
ooc; it's alright.

Tasha was already making her way to the living room after getting Eliza her glass of iced tea. She sat down in her usual spot, a circle chair that hung from the ceiling, but unlike most chairs that only had one cushion, the whole inside of the chair was padded. She sat cross legged and set her water bottle down next to her leg and set her plate on her lap and began to eat.
Drew was next and he took his spot on the far right side of the couch. He set his coke on a napkin on the coffee table and did as Tasha did with his plate, setting it on his lap.
Im so sorry its short guys, writers' block. .___.

Jake seeing the stand offish feeling Eliza was having he laughed slightly. "Don't worry about us dear. I am sure drew over here will eventually get his two burgers." jake grabbed a cup down from the cabnit..Its checkerbord style of blue and pink made of glass was Jake's tea cup. It was the one cup he had from his human days when it was rare to find anything from a vampire's mortal life, much less Memories of it. Jake happened to be one of the rare few to get his human memories back.
Smiling at Eliza Jake looked at her. "I already ate though so really dig it and don't worry about me." he help up his glass and walked over to the stainless steel sink and put hot water in his glass along with a honey and camamile tea bag. Spinning around while his tea was brewing Jake looked at the group in the kitchen. "Please don't wait on me, go get your food and go into the living room. I am sure that it would be much more comfortable out there."
