Idris narrowed his gaze down to Antonia.
"Aren't I always late?" He laughed, looping his arm around her dragging her with him.
"You tend to complain a lot, yet you still wait." He smiled amused by the way he got her wrapped around his finger. He felt his head throbbing as he made his way past a couple of humans, bunched together gossiping. He ran his free hand threw his soft silver hair, trying to block out their thoughts. The worse part of being a vampire was coming in contact with person, and seeing their whole life story. The fact that Antonia couldn't read his mind or see is past was a bonus to him. He didn't have to go through any extra stuff with her. He could be well assured she wouldn't find out anything.
Although Antonia is a mystery to him, he doesn't question her or her being. He'd rather keep his distance from everyone. Another vampire especially.
Antonia had her eyes narrowed, scanning the crowd. Idris was nowhere to be seen; she drummed her fingers on her desk. The final class of the day was the only one they shared.
Idris slipped in silently, as always. "You're late...!" She hissed under her breath. Even though she was acting pissed that he'd made her wait yet again, her posture said otherwise. The second he walked in, she loosened up and relaxed in her seat.
The class passed by in a blur, mainly Antonia examined her bright red nails. The final bell rang, dismissing the school day. She didn't hesitate before jumping up. In seconds she had her bag over her shoulder and she was out the door. Though, she did wait in the hall for Idris. "Slow poke," she teased when he finally appeared next to her.
Looking around, Idris quietly crept into a low squat near his bag. School was almost out, and he was about ready to leave. He continued to scan the area. His body a bit tense, because of all the attention he’s been getting lately. He narrowed his eyes down to his dark blue backpack, reaching down for it. Opening the front pouch, he pulled out what seemed to be a pill bottle, snapping it open and throwing a red tablet into his mouth. He closed his eyes, snapping the lid back shut.
It’s been a while since he had actual blood as opposed to a substitute. His throat burned, and his body ached. Even though he's been taking these tablets for a full month, he wasn't adjusting well to it.
He opened his eyes, knowing they changed into a different shade of brown. Darker. More human like. He already stood out as it is. Six-Five, silver hair, pale skin, and not to mention the fact that he was always surrounded by a crowd of girls who wouldn't let him breath. But all that attention died down when he met Antonia. She always kept them on a leash. He admired her in a way, but didn't show to much of an interest. She was strong, and bold. He was a bit surprised to find out she was alone like him. He looked down and smiled to himself, sliding the bottle back into his bag, zipping it up, and throwing it over his right shoulder. He threw his free hand into his pocket and began walking back to the main entrance of the school.
