She smiled when he came out and she heard what he was saying. "I'll try to be better as well. I just want to make this work. I want to be happy with you." She got up and walked over to him, kissing him deeply. "What would you like to do tonight hun?" She leaned her forehead against his. Her thoughts about the kids and Aaric and Ryan had gone away now and all she could think about was him. Maybe they could really make this work.

Audric turned off the shower. Dressing himself, he looked through his bag for something. Pulling out a pill bottle, he took a deep breath. Trying to calm himself a bit, he opened it up. Popping two into his mouth, he sealed tightly. Putting it away, he walked out and looked at her. “Bay, I’m sorry… I’ll… try to go with your picture of perfect. Not too sure how long it will… take me… and there are things I’ll disagree with, completely… but I’m willing to give it a go” Audric said.

She sighed as she watched him go into the bathroom. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair carefully. She walked back over and sat down on the bed. She hated the lectures but she knew he meant well. She laid down and closed her eyes.

She hoped that he would come back and lay with her. She didn't want to screw tonight to. She just wanted to have a nice night with Audric.

Audric knew she didn't like him doing this, but he needed to be heard. "Would you rather I be a husband who is abusive, rather then uses his words?" Audric asked her. He could very well be that guy. Though Audric doubted that he could actually hurt her. Not unless she somehow made herself deserve it. Audric said, running a hand through his hair. Getting up, he went into the bathroom and locked the door. Turning on the shower, he took off his clothes and got in. He needed to think, needed to force himself to be something other then who he was. Bay had been friends with his son for a long time, so Bay should know exactly how Audric was with everyone. She wasn't the only one who ended up with the lectures and such. It was because Audric had been ridiculed as a child for being dumb, so now he lived off trying to be smart, even if he failed.

She sighed as she looked at him. She got up and ran her fingers through her hair as she looked out the window. She did sometimes get tired of his wisdom and lectures. She didn't want to make conversation. She didn't want to listen to him tell her what was right and what was wrong. Sometimes she felt like he treated her more as a daughter than his wife. She just wanted to be good enough for him, be able to do things right for once.

Audric looked up at her. "Perfect for you. However perfect doesn't exist. We need to learn to accept that. Life is constantly changing. There isn't anything we can do to stop that. People will change constantly. Loves will change" Audric said. Everything was in constant motion. Whether it be a tiny speck of dust, to the earth turning. "My idea of perfect is a woman who knows when shes wrong, who will correct her mistakes the moment their made. I don't determine perfect by looks, but rather by how a woman acts" Audric said.

She curled up against him and closed her eyes. "I love you more than anything or anyone. I'm sorry if I make things hard for you. I just want things to be perfect." She climbed on top of him and looked down at him. "I don't know what I would do without you."
