Chrys pulled her hair over her shoulder, and held it close No cutting my hair.. I like my long hair. But what are highlights? She knew nothing about makeup or highlights. Nothing about being a girl. Chrys sat down and watched the 17 year old play the piano. She's lucky. She so talented and she knows alot about being a girl... I don't know nothing about being a girl

She looked down at her hands, and ran her fingers through the silky hair. The smell of strawberries and lavender waved through the air.

"Really? I'm 17 Chrys." Racia said with a smile her eyes growing brighter. "And a make over is when we use makeup and maybe cut your hair to make you look different or cuter." She said with a smile. "So shall we have one tonight my princess. Maybe I could put some highlightes in your hair." She said with a smile playing notes on the piano.

What is a makeover? Chrys asked as she tilted her head. The things that Racia had listed off seem liked a blast. It seemed so normal. Something that a normal girl would get to do, not something that a princess would get to do. Chrys was so excited that she couldn't sit still for over long. But when she heard that Racia had asked how old she was, Chrys' eyes looked straight into her eyes. Those eyes seem to get brighter by the second. One could tell that she was super happy.
I am 16. How old are you?

Chrys didn't look or act like she was 16, but it was true. She just celebrated her 16th birthday not that long ago. There was a huge party for everyone in the kingdom, and the next kingdom over. It was a party that everyone talked about, and still do from time to time.

"Thank you very much Chrys. I'm glad to be here." Racia said blushing just as much as the princess. "I would love to have a slumber party with you. We can do all the slumber party things. Like give each other make overs. Play games, and other fun stuff. We can even play some music." She said with a smile on her face thinking how fun this was going to be. "heck I might even show you some magic." Looking into the princess eyes a question came to her. "By the way princess what age are you?" She asked. She knew the princess couldn't be any older than she was. But she couldn't put her finger on the age exactly.

Chrys smiled when she was praised for the song. It was during the song that she notice Racia had a small tear and had also joined it with her. Something as simple as a tear and her joining in seem to really touch Chrys. But she wanted to learn more about Racia since she didn't know hardly anything about her. She seems really nice and sweet. Chrys thought as she leaned back a bit thinking. Even know she wanted to learn and start learning it was more.important to get to know each other. Lets hang out and have a slumber party. I never had one before nor had someone to just hang out with. I mean here are maids that are around my age but its not the same. I know they mean well but I want a true friend. Someone who's not here because my father is the king. You are different. I want you here. Chrys said as a small blush appears.

Listening to the princess sing the lullaby a tear came to Racia's eye. She always loved the song that her father would sing her. During the chorus she would chip in, but in a lower voice to add to her students song, not take it over. Racia knew that for this song she would simply be the supporter. After a while and when the song was done Racia looked at her student and smiled. "That was great Chrys." She said with a smile in her voice. "Now would you like to start your lessons today or would you like to just hang out and get to know each other first?" Racia really did want to get her new student. She seemed to be a nice girl, everyone loved her from what she heard. "What do you think?"

"Was your grandmother a good musician? She asked with a smile. "I think I remember stories about her from my papa." She said playing a few more notes from the piano. It was quite a beautifully tuned piece of art. It played the notes exactly as she wished them to. "It's such a beautifully tuned piece." She said with a smile in here voice. "I would love to go with you to your princess lessons. Maybe I might learn a thing or two." she said with a giggle. "As for the balls I would love to preform for such a big crowd. I've always dreamed of doing that just like my papa did when he was younger. He use to play for queens and kings and all of the people in the seven kingdoms." She said closing her eyes and playing an old lulu-by her daddy use to sing her.

Chrys walked over and took her seat next to Racia. Those ice blue eyes watched her hands on the ivory keys. Reason why I picked you to be my Music Mistress was because that you know what you are doing. And I enjoy singing with you last night. Also well as listening to you sign Racia. It was very nice. She said softly.

The piano was something that was very special to her. It had belonged to her favorite grandmother. There were days that all she wanted to do was to come and listen to her grandmother play. Chrys could have sat there for hours, just listening and singing for her grandmother. It was after the death of her grandmother that no was allowed to touch the piano. If anyone had touched it, Chrys would scream and yell at them for a good hour. It got to the point that she yelled at anyone who would come near it. She was after all six years old, so no one ever took it to heart. Chrys was just a child who missed her grandmother. So her father had them move the piano into the sitting room in Chrys' room. That way it wouldn't cause Chrys anymore stress and no one else would get yelled at. Of course, Chrys was happy, and had gave apologizes to everyone that was yelled at.

Most days we will be here. But there are some days when we will use the piano in the throne room. On those days are probably because of my princess lessons will be right before. Chrys said as she nodded her head, thinking about the days when she had princess' lessons. She was going to be the next queen of the kingdom. So she had to learn everything about everything. A pain, but something that she enjoyed and knew that she needed to do it. So we shall have music everyday expect for Saturdays and Sundays. Unless my father has something else to me to do. And if there are balls. Of course there will be a ball as soon as I learn a few songs. I want to show everyone that I can play as beautiful as my grandmother, Rest her soul. And Sing like the nightingales.
