He moved adn stood up, then gently helped Kai up. He was beign extreamly carefull with the hurt boy.

Kai didnt look up. "o-okay" he whispered. his stomach was killing him still.

Nate moved and sat next to him. "Why don't we eat ok? Then we can hang out and watch movies. We'll deal with everything else tomorrow ok?" He asked imm

Kai had no defence anymore. he had no will to push anymore. he lened against the wall, sinking down until his bu, touched the ground. "Well your an idiot then" he whispered, and kept his head down. how could he be so calm about it all! It was jsut wrong! but Kai couldnt say no anymore.

He looked at him. He smiled weakly. "I know. I know I'm being stupid, and there's a good chance I'll get hurt. I know that I might even die, but that's ok. That's what best friends are for Kai. I'm not gonna abandon you, I'm going to protect you. I can't go back to my normal life without killing myself with guilt grief and misery. you matter more to me then...well anything."

Kai looked down, and clutched his arm awkwardly. "He'll come for you. he'll hurt you too. this whole thing, your just going to get hurt. or worse, you'll die. you dont know. you dont know how many scars i have, and i dont want you to." his voice was quiet, then it boomed. "So just go back to your normal life! Im trying to protect you!"

He sighed adn stepped back. He looked at Kai as he came out. "you're the one who use to watch all those crime shows. You know if you keep doing this you'll end up dea.d" His eyes were pleading with Kai to stay.

"REally! How does the story end!" he said through the door, not opening it yet. "Move away from the door, im coming out" he said, and gripped the cold metal.

Nate sighed. When he walekd out he had closed the door. "look, I know you very well might hate me at this moment. ANd I know in your head you are protectign me Kai, but dude you know how this story ends! You aren't stupid. Come on, just stay with me for a bit ok?"
