When Bailey moves in with an old friend there is no telling what will happen.
She shook her head. "No I haven't. I'm not sure what to say. I mean we never really talked about kids. And it wouldn't do any good anyway. We can't even get through one conversation without fighting. I just didn't expect this." She ran her fingers through her hair and sat down next to him. "Out of all the times for this to happen this is the worst. I guess I should have seen it coming though. I was bound to get pregnant eventually." She sighed a bit. She wondered what Ashton's reaction would be. Maybe he would actually want to be with her.
Travis was shocked to say the least. He hadnt been expecting her to say she was pregnant, he thought she would come out and say she was seeing someone or she was back with Ashton but no. "Have you told Ashton?" He asked calmly.
He didnt know what emotion to really show, at the moment. He was surprised and angry and sad. He hoped Ashton wouldnt be a dick about the whole thing but if he didnt step up then Travis would. He wouldnt let his bestfriend do this alone..
She had been here for quite a while not and was actually getting used to everything. She had even found a job working at a small daycare in town. She hadn't spoken to Ashton in quite a while and she didn't plan to either. She was trying to avoid talking to him as much as possible. Every time they talked they ended up fighting.
She sighed as she walked inside the house. She had just come back from a doctor's appointment. She walked into the living room where Travis was sitting. She turned off the tv and looked at him. "I'm just gonna say this now, I'm pregnant." She doubted Ashton would want anything to do with the child. He probably wouldn't even care when she told him. Most likely he would just hang up and leave her to deal with this herself.
"Because i 'want to lose you as a bestfriend and i know you can do better than me." He muttered quickly not really keen on talking about it. It always bothered him and he didn't like to bring it up that much. It always hurt to think of it.
Travis filled in their orders getting both of their favorites, glad for the subject change. He got up and got the money out and set it by the front door, and stood a moment to gather himself, before he walked back into the living room rubbing his chest.
Once he finished ordering their food she looked at him and smiled a bit. "I know you're my best friend but if you've liked me why haven't you ever asked me out? I've always liked you but you never showed that you liked me so I just dated other people. And obviously some of those choices weren't too good." She smiled a bit.
She sighed as she realized she would have to call Ashton later. She ran her fingers through her hair and checked the time. She would call him after they ate or maybe tomorrow. She didn't want to fight with him right now.
Travis was shocked for a second and he was sure it shone on his face before he quickly masked it and put on a smirk. "I'm sure you always have, and so have I." He said laughing a bit, she was so cute sometimes with the things she did and said. He just hoped that she wasn't trying to start a relationship further than friendship just yet. He knew she just broke up with her boyfriend and he wanted her to be sure she wanted Travis and not just someone to make her feel loved and better, even though he would without asking. He was just looking out for the both of them.
"Ill order Chinese then." He said and pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and scrolled threw the numbers. He had all the numbers of his favorite take out places of every kind. He was strange like that, but that's what made him, him.
She smiled at him. "Anything you want is fine." She didn't really care what they had. She would just be happy to eat. She hadn't really stopped for anything while she was driving here so anything sounded good to her. She had just wanted to get here as soon as possible.
She turned to him and kissed him gently. She giggled a bit. "I've always wanted to do that." Travis was her best friend and she wasn't shy around him. She knew he would listen to her no matter what she said. With him she could be herself and he didn't take anything she said personally. It was nice to be with him for a change.
"Its no problem hon." Travis muttered and turned away from the TV to smile down at her and squeeze her hand back. "Did you figure out what you want for dinner?" He asked as their gazes locked.
He loved food so he was pretty much up for anything, that he could stuff in his mouth. Its not like he gets fat from it, he burns it off easily. He always has been able to even if he only went on walks, he just has a high metabolism.
She finished unpacking her bags and headed downstairs. She smiled as she looked at Travis. She walked over and sat down next to him. She leaned against him and smiled. "Thanks again. This means so much to me."
It had been a surprise to come home and find her boyfriend had all her bags packed for her and was telling her to get out. She hadn't done anything wrong. She figured he just found someone better than her. She took Travis's hand and squeezed it gently.
