The year is 2099. This is the year of the Third world war. In this war nuclear missiles were finally used on a grand scale destroying much of the world and drastically reducing the population. When all was done only two nations were left, England who had taken over most of Europe, and America which took over most of Canada and south america. Unfortunately the rest of the world was un inhabitable. Both of them wanted to have the land of the other, mostly for farming, but they didn't want to start another war that might kill the entire human race. Instead they decided to use steam powered robots.

The new world is mostly steam and gear powered, those those two forms of technology easily produced now. there is only about one million people in the world. You are a robot, one of two that will be used to fight against the opossing country. On the inside you are gears and metal but on the outside you look completely human. Since you were put online you have only ever known one person and that is the scientist that created you, but one day you escape.
