THe prince looked as Rose began to cry. SHe picked her up and rocked her humming. "Its ok baby girl."He soothed adn eventually she calmed smilling up at her mother. THe Prince's face had fallen back into a mask. "what is the palace like now?"he asked DAnl

Danyl smiled at how this simple gesture of trust made the prince as happy as it did. From the kitchen his sister watched in wonder as the Prince she hated so much let his shield down to show gratitude to someone of her brother's status. She sighed and decided that there was no reason to argue the matter, though she was the oldest in the family, she had no doubts in Danyl's judgement at this moment.

THe prince smilled, adn his eyes actually lit up. Joy was a ray emotion for the pricne to show, especially as openly as this. He squeezed Danyl's hand tightly. "Thank you."He siad. THose few words held everything he couldnt say. Things the prince could never say ,or would never say. hose two words said 'thank you for accepting me...for trusting me..for loving me.' Shiki smilled

Danyl didn't know what to say at first and though his sister had been taking care of everyone, she had a right to have her own life, his brother too, and he still had younger siblings that needed their mother, "Alright, we will talk to mother when she is awake," He looked to his brother who knew what he was thinking and nodded before following their sister into the kitchen when her eyes became filled with rage and she huffed off.

He nodded. "Of course."He udnerstood that they were pridefull, it was one of the things he found adorable about Danyl. "She would of been a lot nicer to someone else. BUt.." THe prince said thinking. "Please don't think of it like that."He siad looking into Danyl's eyes. "Think of it as family helping family. BEcuase you are my mate, ad your family is my famiyl, wether some like it or not." He stated

His sister growled under her breath but let it go and returned to the kitchen to make up some breakfast before she woke the children.

And his brother smiled, "Don't get me wrong, we are thankful that you offered, it's just..." He looked at Danyl.

Danyl nodded and continued for his brother, "My family is very prideful, it is something we've learned from our father, and accepting help is very hard for us. My sister isn't acting that way because it's you, she is acting that way because someone with money offered do something that she knows is hard for us and she doesn't like that, she would have said the same thing if someone else had said it," Then he thought, "She might have been a little nicer with someone else, but the words would have been the same.'

Shiki sighed and shook his head, and glared at her. "Danyl is my mate, and I want to help him in anyway possible."He snarled. He was protective of him. "And I'll worry abotu who I please. I'm forced to wrry about her because she is family to my mate and matters to him." his eyes had grown cold.

He then turned to his brother, and his demanor was much softer and kinder. "That is unfortunate and I'm sorry. If there's any medication you need, or if she needs a doctor just say so. I'll gurantee she has hte best care avalaible."

Danyl's sister scoffed, "You don't need to worry yourself with little peasants like us, we can manage on our own, we have so far."

"Stop that, there is no need for you to be rude, he just wants to help us out," Danyl defended the prince.

His brother gave a slight smile, "There is nothing you can do, we are only able to give her the medicine to relieve the pain. The sickness is incurable, but there are was to ease her until the end."
