I love this paring with my life. I've wanted to do a roleplay with them for a while now, but I could never really think of a plot or anything.
I kind of wanted to to be slightly AU, maybe having them slightly older than they were in Digimon Adventures 02. High school aged, possibly?
1. Photos. Have them be slightly different than those from the actual anime, though if you want.. I don't mind you having official pictures.
2. Cybering! If it comes to it, it shall be skipped or taken to PM.
3. Literacy. Now.. I don't mean you have to write a book with every post. I want at least a paragraph, no one liners, and have proper grammar and spelling
4. Don't ask to join and never post. If you get bored with the RP and don't want to continue, let me know. It won't hurt my feelings.
5. Makes twists in the RP, please? I don't like it when people just go with whatever I post. Have your own mind with what you do. I like when people change things up!
Watching as the digital emperor walked away, Kari frowned a little and looked back at TK. Hearing what he said, she nodded her head in agreement. "We have to find Patamon, Gatomon and Veemon, too," she said, stifling a small yawn that escaped her lips. "It's too risky to wait for the others. Who knows how long it'll take for them to get here," she said softly.
The digital emperor looked at the two of them and simply walked away, leaving them uneasy. What could he have meant? What was he planning? He wrapped his arms tighter around Kari and held her to him. This definitely not good. He almost didn't want to know what the digital emperor was thinking. Without looking at Kari, he said, "We have to get out of here and we'll have to do it ourselves." They couldn't wait for the others now.
[ That's okay. ^^ Take as much time as needed, I don't mind. ]
Kari's eyes opened slowly, squinting into the light that was pouring into the cell. Hearing the voice of the digital emperor, she sat up while snuggling into TK a bit more. She opened her mouth to ask him what he meant, though TK seemed to beat her to it. Sitting silently, she looked back and forth between the two boys, not knowing what to say, still trying to wake up fully so she'd be more aware of the situation.
TK woke up when an artificial light peered into his cell. He saw someone there and automatically, he wanted to protect Kari. The digimon emperor laughed as he looked at them. "That's real cute. Too bad it won't last for long."
Tk's arms tighten around Kari. "What are you talking about?"
Curling into TK a bit, Kari's hand stopped tracing patterns on his chest as she sighed contently and started to drift off into a light sleep. The feeling of TK's hand running up and down her back made her shiver slightly, though it was calming at the same time, helping her fall into a peaceful sleep. She didn't notice when he'd stopped moving, being fully consumed by dreams by then, though a smile was still on her face.
He himself didn't hear her exact words but his body must have known about it because he tighten his grip on her as he slept. He let his hand slowly up and down her back as. He stopped moving when he fell deeper asleep again.
Kari smiled slightly as TK's grip around her tightened considerably, though not enough to make her uncomfortable. Her fingers were still tracing patterns on his chest, though they seemed to stay in one single, reoccurring pattern, the words 'I love you'. The three words that meant so much to Kari, something that she didn't say to just anyone, unless that someone was TK, or a family member. It was those three words that kept her going, and kept her light shining bright, so to speak, every time she'd heard them fall from TK's lips. "I love you, TK," she whispered softly, wondering if he'd be able to hear her while he was sleeping.
TK felt Kari stir on top of him and he wrapped his arms tighter around her. He didn't want to wake up yet. No, his dreams were far too lovely for him to wake up in a dark, damp cell.
Hearing shuffling outside their cell, Kari's eyes snapped open, though she couldn't see much of anything. Once the noise stopped, not having come any closer, or added any noises like a voice, Kari breathed deeply and let her eyes slip shut again, her hand absently drawing invisible patterns on TK's chest as it rose and fell with his breathing.
TK didn't know how he was able to fall asleep but he did. Despite what they said earlier, he knew Kari was his light and with her, nothing could ever go wrong.
Kari stayed resting against TK as he leaned against the wall. Hearing his breathing even out, she knew he was asleep. Moving her head from his neck, she shifted slightly, pressing her lips gently against his before pulling away with a quiet sigh. Even though the floor was uncomfortable, she shifted around a bit and leaned her head against TK's shoulder, letting her eyes slip closed as she rested against him, unable to fall asleep, but feeling content with him close to her.
It seemed to work for TK. He forgot where they were or what situation they were in. He felt so safe and hopeful in Kari's arms, that he leaned back against the wall and fell into a light sleep, his hands slowly stop moving in her hair.
Kari nodded her head, smiling as he ran his hands through her hair. "I have to agree. Honestly, I don't think it really matters where I am in either the human or digital world, as long as I'm with you, nothing can bother me," she whispered. "I know I've said it before, but you just make me feel safe when I'm with you, even in the most dangerous situations," she added.
