In the event Anton and Spade ever stopped arguing, Aeolus would have to question if the Apocalypse were on the horizon. The news they received from Demeter certainly didn't put a 'pep' in anyone's step, but it made them all the more determined to confront Ares. The journey to Licentia was all but caring on Spade's shoulders. Eirene didn't weigh a ton, but at the same time, unnecessary weight was just that : unnecessary. Since they had last been here, a draw bridge had been built, Bones himself was injured, probably from messing with a couple of demons, and could no longer fly properly. The drawbridge was oddly enough, left down. "He must be expecting us." Spade commented, some how, Ares always had a sneaky suspicion when he was about to be involved or confronted by someone. With recognition of Spade and Aeolus, did the guards at the entrance of his castle heed way. "The lord is not expecting you." A guard spoke, Spade let Eirene down, his shoulder were crying for a bit of a break.
"Ah~ Friends~ It pleases me to see you in such good health! This unexpected visit is heart warming." Ares's voice broke the silence as he left his studies, there was an instilled flatness when he mentioned something being touching. "It suits you." Ares commented about the tattoo on Aeolus's forehead, "And I'm sure it has caused a lot of fear." He mused softly, "Follow me, guards won't be necessary." He assured, leading the group of travelers into his study. He folded up a map and tucked it away inside a drawer. "I trust that Athena was willing to aid you in unsealing your pipe?" There was a bit of a glimmer in his eyes when he smiled, of course he knew that he had lied to them. "Although, one does not simply take a trip out to Licentia, as I have come to learn...." His voice continued as he took a sip from his chalice. "We want to know, what happened to Apollo" Aeolus began, and this struck a cord with Ares, "When you ask for something you do not demand it, and quite frankly, you say please." His body relaxed as his form took a seat in a rather decorative chair.
Aeolus bit his lip, "Please, we would like for you to reveal anything you know about Apollo." He stifled, Ares's lips pressed together in a tight smile, as he brushed his black locks. "And why should I tell you? What could I possibly gain by releasing any information I know?" His hands folded together, there was a smile on his face, and a chilling aura around him. "But because you've come all this way to see me, I suppose I could tell you what I know. The last I heard of Apollo, he was seeking something. I bet I know what it is too. Apollo is far too tired of being stuck in that prepubescent body frame of his, because, well, I think Eirene knows why." There was a chuckle that erupted from him, "So the boy wishes to become a man, to grow up, and who could possibly grant such a wish? Certainly not that imbecile Zeus." Ares continued, his eyes almost appeared to be glowing a frosty blue. "Now, wouldn't you think it darn right foolish for a lamb to walk into the lion's den? The demons of Hades's realm probably made mince meat out of him, and it wouldn't bother me in the least" There was a clap and the male stood up, "Well that it all I know, or at least can speculate. Maybe Athena should think twice about her sincerity" He continued with a bit of a whisper "What was that?" Aeolus questioned, "Nothing Bloody One, nothing. So as you can see I have done you a service, all out of the kindness of my heart." He chimed, it wasn't like telling them meant anything now, Apollo was far too gone to make any bit of a difference. "The world is soon to become a better place, don't you just love that night sky?" Ares paused as a noticeable smirk entertained his features, he was quite the Handsome God, "I do certainly wonder how many more men you could tempt into the devil's book Eirene, I'd be careful if I were you, young one." Ares hinted at Aeolus as his back faced the group. "You are welcome to stay and rest your tired spirits, there are plenty of rooms." Ares offered, and one would note, Ares was only ever in a good mood if he were winning.

Eirene was quite proud to have landing on her feet this time, remember how clumsily everyone landed upon their first trip..well not Spade, but the rest of everyone else. The lack of sun was concerning back in the present but here it was just plan scary. The thought that Apollo could be dead..or so weak that he was unable to bring about the sun..it made her shiver with the feel of blood running in her viens threatening to freeze into ice at any minute. Even while they commuted the rather lengthy climb up to her home, she couldn’t be happy. The overbaring sense , this omen of terrible things to come was overwhelming to her. Yet the embrace of her mother, she wrapped her arms around the older dieties waist and burried her face in her shoulder seeking a comfort she knew she’d always get. “Dire circumstances unfortunately.” She answered when she asked what she was doing here.
At the mention of her sister’s visit, she frowned. “Darn! Missed her!” she tried her best to sound as if she cared. “Wait what? He had better not lend her any kind of power or for that matter anything.” She pouted. “Oh..are you two fighting again?” Demeter inquired in a disapproving tone. Ha..if only she knew how they never stopped. Better that she just left, maybe if they were fast enough they could catch up to her so Eirene could attempt to ring her neck for all of the trouble they had previously gone through. “Don’t say that mother, I’m sure he’s okay..he has to be.” She spoke trying to instill some kind of hope in her mother. “but this..this isn’t good at all.” She spoke softly. Ares was up to something..she was sure of it, and with the demons running a muck in Aeolus’s town like clock work..she was certain he did not act alone.
“Well what of Artemis..and Oblivion..her forest is uncharacteristically quiet..like still life.” She spoke. “She disappeared about two days ago..said she was going to look for Apollo, I do hope she’s safe.” She sighed out. “Don’t worry mom, Artemis is a fighter. You just stay safe.” She spoke kissing her mother on the cheek. “We’ve got to get going.” She spoke as Demeter smiled releasing Eirene from her grasp. They had to go to Licentia. “Spade, lead our way.” She spoke as the blond grinned. “Ofcourse.” He spoke, twitching slightly when he felt the familiar weight of Eirene on his back. “Yo Eirene..” he began much like last time. “Why am I carrying you?” he spoke. “Because I refuse step foot on that disgusting piece of dead earth you call home.” She chimed poking Spade’s cheek. “Heh..lucky for you Ares is making us pick up our training regiments again.” He mused hooking his arms beneath her knees.

And into the mirror they go! Boy did this seem like some sort of weird Alice and Wonderland adventure? Still the journey through the mirror and into the realm of Aphrodite only served to remind Spade exactly how much he hated this place. It was odd how venturing through Aphrodite's mirror didn't land them in her palace, she was one of the few Goddesses that hated people to show up unannounced, despite exactly how much of a social butterfly she was. Well, no harm no foul, Aphrodite would figure out that someone had used her mirror, their were watchmen scattered all throughout her floral forest.
"I suppose we should speak with Demeter first" Aeolus suggested, as one of the most neutral and well trusted Goddess, Demeter would willingly be able to provide them with the most truthful version of any question that they had to the best of her ability. Traveling through the forests, Aeolus couldn't help but notice that there wasn't an Artemis to greet them, or even the rustle and thunder of Oblivion treading through these thick woods. What was going on here? Did Artemis just randomly hibernate? Or Oblivion rather? The walk through the forest was unusually quiet, even the animals seemed to be taking the day off. Maybe it was just too early in the morning for Artemis to be buzzing around, it was a little closer to six am.
They reached Demeter's summit, and were let in without hesitation, Spade was thankful that the trip through his Rose infested hell was finally over and that he could breathe again. When they traveled to Licentia, he would be much more at ease. A very ecstatic mother greeted her beloved child, and Aeolus swore that flower sprung up where she had last stepped she was so happy. "Eirene darling what brings you?" Not that she minded her showing up of course, it was always a pleasure to have her around "I'm afraid you just missed Ophelia, she mentioned something about visiting Atlantis to see Poseidon" What could Ophelia possibly want from him? "Have you noticed it? The longer nights and shorter days?" Demeter continued, and it was just now that Aeolus decided to take a glance at the heavens, it was close to six am, but there wasn't a single break of sunlight to identify the coming of the morning. Strange. "I fear Apollo's light has left us, even the crops are slowly dying out, there just isn't enough sun." Demeter explained with a gloom and pained expression.

At her answer, Eirene tried not to look surprised. Instead of letting out the startled ‘huh?’ threatening to tumble from her lips, she ony smiled. “Thank you so much!” she squealed, though she was happy because she managed to pull this off. Though as the night progressed from dinner to dessert and tv time, she was reminded of just why she loved humans so much. Warmth. Something truly incredible and beautiful about them, not physical warmth but the essence of life and it’s moments. In the past few months she had been able to experience what she wished to protect from her sister personally. Kindness, for Aeolus’s parents to take her in. She had become closer to his mom and she did believe that her mother was atleast one step closer to believing Eirene was not out to still her precious baby boy. The wonders of cosmetics had also been introduced to Eirene, though the concept of make up seemed unnecessary and she seemed to like painting her nails and styling her hair in various ways much better than attempting to apply so many things to her face.
There was also the wonders of humanity, though it took her a little longer to adapt to how short the dresses had gotten and even the pants to some extent. There were no shorts in Ancient Greece so you could just imagine how well Eirene took to them after ofcourse getting used to the length of them, they were highly functional after all. Much better than a toga or her various foreign outfits. Eirene once again, could not find sleep that night but didn’t mind at all, she was much to eager to return home and hopefully find her precious sun. Her friendship with Apollo was dear to her and she honestly had been feeling a tiny bit hurt that he would even go anywhere like the underworld without telling anyone..especially her. Apollo tended to tell Eirene most things.
Morning rolled around quickly, and the light atmosphere gave Eirene a little bit of positivity. Though she was filled with amusement upon arriving at Snap for their trip just in time to see Spade nearly slam Anton’s hand through the table. Spade really didn’t know his own strength. Watching the two argue, she wanted to laugh..but she couldn’t, when Aeolus cut in to stop them everonye seemed reminded of the serious nature of their gathering. Spade cleared his throat and checked his watch. “..I guess your right.” He spoke as he turned on his heel. His azure gaze drifted to the somewhat quiet Eirene. “You are.. unhappy.” Spade spoke eyeing the ivory haired diety. “not at all. I was just thinking is all.” She answered with a bright smile. “Don’t. Pessimism doesn’t suit you.” Spade remarked. “Well I can’t help it. I’m really worried about Apollo. “ she glanced down at her feet. “He’ll turn up.” Spade tried to be comforting.

A camping trip? God If Aeolus could lean over and kiss Eirene for her genius! He would have never thought of that, and, the sincerity in her voice influenced Amelia to agree. They hand't been anywhere since summer, so. She agreed, and, to act as normal, Aeolus hugged his mother tightly, thanking her with a kiss on the cheek. This was the most affection she had received out of Aeolus in a while, so her decision in letting him go pleased the both of them for different reasons. She enjoyed making her son happy, even though she disciplined him harder than his no spine father.
So they would leave early in the morning and head out to SNAP! Where they could go through Aphrodite's mirror, and back to an ancient land where the Gods and Goddess roamed freely in the flesh. The night continued with a home made pizza, his father actually cooked that night, breads and pastas were his specialty. He even poured Aeolus and Eirene a little wine, and when his mother protested, he insisted that wine put hair on a man's chest, and confidence in a girl's soul, whatever that meant. The television was dominated by his mother who wouldn't dare miss out on America's Idol, she had taken a liking to some male singer with a guitar, that was coasting through the competition. He would likely make it to the finals, Aeolus could tell just by how much screen time he got.
Dinner was over with a desert of sweet rice pudding, which, was Aeolus's favorite. If truth be told, he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep almost at all that night, the anxiousness of returning to Ancient Greece was impossible for him to ignore. However, time takes everyone prisoner and five o'clock in the morning eventually rolled around. After a little bit of packing and his morning routine, they were out of the house around 5:40, Spade said no later than six, so in account for the bus ride, they made it there around 6 am sharp. The door to SNAP! was unlocked, Spade and Anton were hanging an intense arm wrestling contest while they waited. SLAM "Ow! You brute!" Anton whined, shaking his hand and kissing it softly, "That's twelve in a row, give up!") Spade chuckled, their eyes fell on the visitors that arrived "About time, I was about to call it off." Spade huffed, and with teary eyes, did Anton approach Eirene, complaining that Spade had been abusing him while they waited. Naturally, Spade declared it to be a lie. After a bit of back and forth bickering, Aeolus intervened to remind them that they had Greece to get back to, and questions that needed to be answered.

Annoying indeed. She stepped on one of those shadow demons during her shower in gym..not pleasant at all. Demons were Hade’s jurisdiction and a few were Ares’ jurisdiction as well. That meant one of the two needed to tend to their responsibilities, for if small demons were making their way through now, it would not be long before the more intelligient and powerful ones were tempted to see what all the fuss was about. Not that all demons were bad people..just the ones under Hades. They only existed to cause chaos. Well, she sighed..atleast they could figure this out tomorrow..and atleast try to look for Apollo. Each day he stayed missing made her grow more and more worried and being a bit saddened by Tiffany’s death..she seemed noticeably distracted through out the day.
All in all by the time she and Aeolus reached his home, Eirene was a bit less cheery than her usual self but talking to Aeolus’s mother always lifted her spirits. As they chatted about soap operas, Eirene thought it might be a good time to bring up that she was going to be gone for the weekend..and kind of needed to take her son with her. But first, she wanted to know if Vivica got taken to jail whilst she thought of a good story to tell his mother. For someone so cheery she sure was good at making up stories, it was times like these when Eirene was glad she was able to think on her feet sometimes. But Aeolus’s mother was so..protective and..not too big on Aeolus leaving the house. It couldn’t be something involving the school, she’d surely call them. Seemed as though she would really have to make up a story this time.
“o-oh! By the way Miss Amelia...I wanted to tell you..that some of the kids are going on a camping trip, you know before the weather gets too bad and the monsoon seasons officially gets underway. I really love nature and I couldn’t resist but I would really like it , If I could bring Ales-chan with me. I promise it’s nothing serious, just a weekend in the woods, doing a bit of hiking and just enjoying nature really. Now there’s no technology allowed on camping trip because..well most people would just loose them and there’s separate sections for boys and girls on camping grounds so no funny business either.” She she spoke trying to make sure she covered any of the questions Amelia might think to ask. “We should be back Sunday before it’s gets dark…I just really think it’s a good chance to bond with some of the kids at school. Please?” she ended her explanation, biting her lip slightly.

ooc: laaaatteee sorry, i haven't really been posting anywhere haha.
So it was official, soap operas were the most quirky way to waste your time watching television, but he could easily see as to where someone could get addicted into something as artificial as this. That was when he decided that soaps were definitely a chick thing, and if any guy ever shed any tears over these actors, his masculinity would be in great questioning. So he spent the rest of his morning preparing for school, and trying not to ponder the reason as to why Vivica would kill Tiffany. As cliche as these shows portrayed normal human interaction, they often had a hunch for illuminating the darkest sides of human nature, betrayal, lust, murder, jealousy, vengeance, all of these things, all wrapped up in a pretty little drama. It was really frightening exactly how macabre these shows could be....
The journey to school was a rather refreshing one, instead of being pelted with rain, there was a bit of sunshine to brighten anyone's mood. The streets were still soggy with rain water, the gutters and curbs still occupied with old excess, puddles served as reminders as to what Ophelia was capable of.. The entire school seemed to be a bit on edge, after a full week of suspicious and abnormal sightings, the students were beginning to think the school to either be cursed, or haunted, or both. "Boy this is really getting annoying~" Aeolus sighed to Eirene, while they shared lunch, only two more classes after this and they could finally go home. What were they going to do about the demons in their realm? They simply couldn't call the ghost busters to come round everything up! If only life were that easy.
The rest of the day continued with little to no interruption, besides the nymph demon that Aeolus spotted on the tennis court, almost everything seemed normal. Or at least, for now, until they traveled back to Ancient Greece to get an explanation as to why all this chaos and calamity was occurring in present day Nagoya. Of course, Hades would probably offer little to no reason as to why his servants were fearlessly on the surface, and returning to Hades's realm was something so far beneath Aeolus's 'to do list', it might was well not even exist.
The day was officially over at the ring of the bell, the relief of Thank God It's Friday could be seen on all the student's faces, as the weekend was something anyone could look forward to. Especially Aeolus, tonight they had to pack, and finally get moving into ancient greece. Of course, with the stunt that had happened last time...the inability to keep in contact with his mother for one, would require an excessive amount of pleading to be let out of the house for a couple of days. Just how could he stress the importance of this trip? He couldn't simply say: 'Hey mom, going to Ancient Greece, there's no cellphone towers there, so I can't answer your calls. By the way, I'm also meeting Gods of mankind's past, some that could possibly kill me if they wanted..' No mother would ever agree to that, except maybe Ashe's mom from 'Pokemon'. What Aeolus wouldn't give to have her.
"Home~" Aeolus called from the front door, and as usual, his mother was preparing dinner, his father had yet to make it back home from work. Amelia inquires about both of their days, the things they've learned, and the people they met, but most importantly, she carried on a conversation with Eirene about the soaps that they watch together. A frown befalls him, it was difficult to pick a time in which Aeolus could ask permission to disappear completely for the weekend.

Listening to Aeolus’s comments about his mom wanting a girl more than she wanted a boy, Eirene couldn’t help but chuckle. “Oh come now, silly. I’m sure it’s just nice for her to have someone to share with. I mean between you and your father…predominately it’s a house full of men.” She shrugged. “Now be quiet..it’s starting.” She shushed her dear boy in favor of the soap opera. Hugging the pillow in her arms to her chest tightly, she gave all of her attention the square box displaying images and emitting sounds for her amusement. It had taken Eirene quite a while, but usually after talking with Amelia, she was able to keep track of all the multiple stories and where the intercept in the drama. How could you not like this stuff? Lies, love, murder, betrayal? I mean come on! Clearly, Eirene was addicted and she would surely miss her stories dearly while she was gone, but for now their was all the time before school to watch as much as she could and for now she was content to do just that.
Unfortunately, Eirene hadn’t counted on so many different twist and once it went off, she was perplexed..and..sad. “Huh?” she whispered. “Th..the..they…” she stammered. She couldn’t believe it. “Wah! Ales-chan, they killed Tiffany!” she cried burrying her face in her pillow. “She was my favorite too.” The goddess spoke as she sniffed slightly and wiped away a few tears gathering in the corners of her eyes. “I can’t believe it..that snake in the grass! I hate Vivica.” She huffed disgruntled. Now she was going to be in a bad mood atleast for a few hours. Turning the tv off, Eirene hopped out of bed and stretched before straightening out her uniform. She was quite relieved that Friday was the last day of school for the week. The subjects weren’t so tough, and she even considered joining a club or two. It was way different from reading books in her mother’s study, but she liked learning things this way as well.
Then there was downside..for instance..none of the girls wanted to be anywhere near the lockerrooms because the demon sightings and Eirene had enough of stepping on them or over them like she couldn’t see them. She was sure Hades had to know by now..and his lack of reaction made him very suspicous indeed. Not to mention their was still an overcast and the sun hadn’t come out in days. She was worried about Apollo, Nyx was covering by bringing night time a little earlier, but this was going to things worse. Eventually..elite demons would find their way through and fighting demons that were intelligent was no joke.

So sleep had pretty much been an impossible venture that night. Between the glowing of the moon and his consistent night mares, there simply wasn't any rest for the wicked, nor the good. It was somewhere around five am, and Aeolus felt that if he couldn't sleep now, there would be no point in trying to again later, just to be woken up, a hour from now, so he started out on his daily morning routine. Shower, brushing, dressing, what little styling of his hair, all of this could be accomplished in about half of a hour. He was surprised to find Eirene awake, but not at all shocked to see that she was watching another 'life's drama' centered shows.
Of course this required to enter her room, "Television is bad for you." The male scolded softly with a frown drawn upon his lips, then again, he did spend a couple hours himself playing online video games, so he supposed, leniency to avoid hypocrisy was in order. "Couldn't sleep either, eh?" She made room on her bed to so that Aeolus could join her. Their last day before they set out to Ancient Greece, perhaps it was the excitement and adventure that kept his nerves from settling. That, and the really bright moon.
"The storms seemed to have stopped." Aeolus noted, and just as Eirene predicted there were heavy showers for about three days straight, and, the weather would proceed to become hot and humid. He wondered how much of a monsoon Eirene could control, even if it were her sister that conjured it, and better yet, if Eirene herself, were capable of such destruction. His mind instantly told him no, but, if Ophelia could do it.....
Within the hour his parents finally stirred from their wake, his dad preparing to leave for work, and his mother, preparing to stay home and work on her ebay business selling pottery. It did surprise her to find both Aeolus and Eirene in the same bed, but they were fully clothed, which helped in reducing the initial shock factor. "Breakfast will be ready in a bit, tgif!" She waved, and mentioned something about recording today's soaps for Eirene to watch when she got home and settled in. "I swear my mom wanted a girl at least twenty times more than a boy" Aeolus huffs softly, it wasn't his fault he couldn't be interested in all that artificial drama, but he did promise Eirene to sit down and watch an episode., a promise he was beginning to regret..
