She'd been up ALL night... And she still wasn't tired.

Oriana lay out on her bed, Sanjay taking up the second half of the matress. He was a big guy, but a very smart, lovable kitten inside, really. He'd been with her through everything; Even having abandoned her parents with her in an effort to ensure her safety. Well? She was a demon, and wouldn't die
instantaneously if something happened. Well... HALF demon... The thought made her disgusted. She couldn't be one, she had to be TWO. Oh,
no, she couldn't be a normal anything. She was human, but not. She was demon, and yet, NOT.
Frustrated, she sat up, and leaned on the tiger's flank as he rose with her.
"Sanjay? Want to take a walk? Get something to eat...? Maybe?" she asked the tiger hopefully, feeling an enormous paw settle itself gently on her back.
(I "You needn't ask, because you know I'd go with you regardless of how badly I want to go. And mostly for the food, I admit.") the feline purred in reply, nudging her off lightly and hopping off the bed. The springs creaked from the relief of his weight, and a grinning Oriana followed him, amazed that the bed hadn't been crushed ALREADY.
The pair left the room and strolled down the stairs, all the while conversing about who was getting what from the refridgerator. How odd the two should fight over food when Sanjay was almost entirely carnivore and Oriana had been a vegitarian for as long as she could remember. But the one thing the pair loved most? Berries. Blueberries, strawberries, cheeries, elderberries, even grapes, though Sanjay didn't really consider them (b berries...
Oriana shuffled across the tile floor, her hand wrapping around the handle on the fridge. She pulled at it, and surveyed the contents, Sanjay pawing expectantly at the freezer. Yes, Sanjay's paw could reach the freezer. Oriana was average, if not your average midget, and Sanjay was a GIGANTIC tiger, even for big tigers. His head came up to her chest, and his paws were the size of her head. However? He was probably the most graceful organism in the manor. He'd never broken anything, or gone into a violent fit. He wasn't wild in any way, shape, or form, though he had been very protective of Oriana at first. But that was a month ago, and they were now more than comfortable.
Oriana pulled the package of grapes out of the fridge, and yanked a huge frozen slab of meat from the back of the freezer for him. Anticipating the time the steak had to take in the microwave, he sat, waiting patiently, as she laid it on a plate and placed it in the microwave for thirty seconds. Once it was done, she poked it, feeling it was warm, but not in ANY way cooked. She took the plate and the grapes to the table.
"We have company." Sanjay observed, gnawing at the meat with obvious joy. He didn't scarf it down, and rather savored the taste, because then he'd still be hungry. He could eat two Orianas' a day, but he sufficed with three slabs of meat about a fourth of his size per day. The back of the freezer held about ten of his meals at once, so Oriana was at the butcher shop every other day to keep stocked.
Oriana slipped two grapes into her mouth, and waved to Morianna.
"Hi! Grape?" she offered, holding up a full bunch of the several in the bag. Sanjay paused for a second to look her over; As though checking for hostility or weapons, and went back to his bloody meal. Aside from his white fluffy white lips, he was surprisingly clean of the blood.
