It seemed to take a while for his words to register within her possibly muddled mind, but soon Evelyn was examining him, even fight off slight urges to blush and have crimson clouds rest upon her cheeks. Though Lelend believed it to be utterly cute, and maybe even beautiful whenever Evelyn became flustered, he was sure he wouldn't get the grace of seeing it today. Letting a smile splay upon his lips, he watched she she made a curt - and quite soft - reply to him, before resting her head on his leg. It Had taken him aback, her action. He had not a smile, nor frown of his face, and his orbs eagerly searched her own face for any sign of recognition. Maybe even sleepiness, or regret.

As he was about to inquiry her actions, he decided it against that. Last time he'd done something like that, it hadn't ended too well, and Evelyn had pulled herself from his life. It had been a cold wind on his naked body, and had nipped and tugged at his skin, leaving him with agitation and a slight infuriating feeling that he could not get to this day. He didn't want Evelyn to drag herself from his days again, to not glance nor speak to him at all. It had been hard, and he knew it would be harder this time, when his whole body called out for her. It was the reason that he'd asked for her first, when he was lying on his nursing bed. He just called out to Evelyn without exactly knowing he was. .

The corners of his lips twitched up wards, and he wrapped a protective arm around Evelyn's thin shoulders. It amazed him how strong, such a petite girl could be. And Lelend was sure she had many more hidden strengths and talents, he'd yet to understand and know. "I know. . Even Pilly Lily had siblings coming to see her. It's saddening, and it makes my stomach churn." Lelend replied bluntly, not caring when Lily shot daggers towards the two, a flare of jealousy sparking in her dark eyes as she saw how close he and Eve were at this moment. Lelend didn't want to deal with such things, and even if Lily potentially cared for him, he wanted to shift her out of his mind completely for this day. He enjoyed detaching himself from the rest of the residents on this particular day, and took great care in making himself disappear from others lives. Even the nurses seemed to look over him this time of year, because they became extremely nervous and fussed over every little details on visiting day.

Though, it would be a bit harder to disappear now with his injuries, Lelend had made it his goal to achieve for the day that he would in fact, get a good rest and peace and quiet. Possibly even allow Evelyn to join him, since she seemed a bit upset and even cruel to herself that she no family coming to see her. Lelend had none himself, and he was just fine with that. He may have more nightmares if he saw the face of his father again, but even more his mother. . Her eyes would practically bulge from their sockets, and fear would glaze over her once beautiful smoky gray. His father most likely hated him - actually, Lelend was honestly sure of this fact - and would only return, to beat him to a pulp, and attempt at murdering him on spot. And Lelend didn't blame him. He ruined the life of his wife. . Of his mother. Tainted, and brought memories to her that he could never take back or erase. Lelend was ashamed.

"How did I know you had no one? The expression on your face, speaks many words, and partially screams them when I look at you. I can read you so easily, and it almost. . saddens me to understand and comprehend the fact that you have no one. But I have just slight hopes, that you're like me in that sense." Lelend said, rambling on slightly, before he clamped his mouth shut. Whenever he rambled it didn't sound good, because it was like he was tripping over himself to get the finish line. "Yeah . . I'd like to find the unknown, and hidden with you today. . I sure as hell have nothing better to do, and I'd rather spend it with you. ." Lelend said slowly, rubbing her shoulder before taking his arm off her. "I already know a way out. But to ensue a plan . . It would be incredibly hard."

This boy was utterly confusing. His body language was insinuating that her touch was a good thing while his voiced cried out for distance. It was a hard combination to read, especially when her attention continued to be drawn towards the scene around them. Mud covered the outer hallway on one side while the brown colored vile lay a few feet away. Evelyn wondered who would be cleaning up the mess and immediately felt pity for the poor fool. As the dark haired man spoke to her, the brunettes head's attention was quickly turned back to his distinguished features. She had to admit, even after her fruitless bickering at him, that she was attracted towards the man. Even if it was a simple infatuation, Evelyn kept her distance from the man, caging any tension her sex drive felt for him. "My dad's on business and the rest of the family - there is no rest of the family. So I guess I am just stuck here sulking until the day is over. Right?" The green eyed girl giggled to herself as she thought about the movie Silent Hill. Monsters showed their true colors only at night, but then again this house had monsters and creatures rampaging it's nurses even in the daylight. Shrugging her shoulders at her absent minded daydream, her attention was once more drawn towards the man. He spoke of going out on some sort of adventure, to get away from the others that had people that still cared for them, and finding his inner peace. Was he mad? How many times had she thought about living this house to escape all of the horrible things that happened here? How many of her friends wouls still talk to her after this? This house was a vortex that seemed to suck you in and never let you out until it was your time.

"Would you play hide and seek with yourself? Because I believe that we are the only ones that don't have anyone. Even L-" Before the blondes name could be pronounced, Lily's loud crackle of laughter could be heard down the hall, echoing into the Living room, making Evelyn cring a tiny bit. "Lets find something unknown. Lets find a why to get out of this place." With that she leaned her head against Lelend's leg, eyes closed as she willed herself not to cry over this little fact of life. Even if it did make him uncomfortable touching her, she wasn't going to move away. He had asked for her last night, so it could be said that he wasn't going to be as rejecting towards her touch as he had been in the past. He was an odd one that apparently needed to be taught a thing or two about living with himself and the secrets that he seemed to harbor. As her mind began to race with dirty thoughts, Evelyn began to play with the only ring on her finger - a gift from her father after he had forgotten her birthday for the tenth time. By then she had gotten so used to it that she didn't think anythine by him when he missed it, but still he insisted on getting her something.

It was impossible for the little brunette to make something feel like home when she wasn't sure what her heart truly wanted. It was a horrible feeling, this separation in her chest, however she couldn't help it. She thought that joining this house was what she wanted but it seemed that the dark haired man had deterred her thoughts. What a malicious man. Making me think over things! Sighing, Evelyn looked up to Lelend, studying the dark haired males face as she letting her thoughts slowly move towards him. Her mind was restless and her heart was continuing to pound; it was as if she had never left the amphitheater. With every blink Evelyn saw the image of the heard head mixed with the dark haired man. She closed her eyes for brief moments just to relive the excitement she felt. It was a desirable feeling, this thrill, but it slowly began to fade as her body suddenly caught up with her.

Waves of exhaustion circled her body as she finally realized how worn out she really was. "If you don't mind me asking, why isn't anyone coming to see you? Not that I mind, if anything I would rather have you here with me than anyone else." Her emerald green eyes stared at her ceiling while she mulled over her would-be powers. Her father wouldn't believe her if she told him, though Lelend had known about it before she truly had herself. Her brows frown as she looked back up at Lelend, her cheek resting against his outter thigh. "How did you know what I was?"

I've always wondered, what my life would be like. . If I wasn't like this. .

Would it be better? Lelend thought.
Would it be worse?
Or would it all just turn out the same, even if he wasn't some bipolar werewolf freak? Would his parents still love him, or would Lelend's life be screwed up in another way by finding yet another psychotic disease to taint him? It seems that's all it was. That Lelend's mind was tainted, his emotions uncontrollable, or so . . Controlled in meager portions by himself. Sighing deeply, the male rolled over slowly on the couch. Causing it to creak beneath his weight, groaning in soft agony. It was quite an old couch, and as he was moving little plumes of dust shot up into the air.

He'd would most likely suffocate by having his face, facing the back of such an old creature, that he rest upon. "This day isn't going to be the best now. . ." Lelend sighed, muttering under his breath. That's all he'd have to do all day. Stumble around the ward, look in all nooks and crannies that he hadn't already pried into . . Ignore the main rooms, and even those giving a tour to their parents or siblings. Just to shove away, and ignore all the commotion that was occurring right next door to his scattered mind.

With a face of disdain, Lelend rolled off the couch, and onto his feet. Running his cold hands, through his hair once more. And that was when his eyes were laid onto Evelyn, puckered lips and messy locks. . . Looking off into the distance, as if deep in thought and possibly just like him attempting at disappearing from the ward; just for today at the very least.

"Hey Eve. . ." Lelend said to her, now slowly making his way to the middle of the living rooms. The clatter of the garbage can smacking the wall entered his thoughts briefly, before going out the other ear; with all the chatter that was also there. "What's with the face?" He inquired, lifting a brow in his slight confusion. It should have been obvious, lying there in plain sight. . The fact she most likely had no one to come visit her, on visiting day. Much like himself; he'd seen that look on his own face numerous times, even when it wasn't visiting day. It was just a tendency he had, to fly off into another world and attempt at having better thoughts.

"No one to visit?" Lelend asked softly, slowly prying into her emotions as he sat on the arm rest of the chair she sat in. Seeing as her arm didn't occupy it at the moment, he thought it'd be alright. Rubbing his chest without actually knowing, he watched her intently, before letting her gaze drag out to the scenery outside. "I know what it feels like. . I don't have no one anyways. So I thought I'd give myself an adventure. Hide from the nurses, and possibly avoid taking my stupid medicine - it makes me numb anyways. . Maybe play a game of hide and seek. To look for something unknown all day I guess." He rambled on, feeling slightly embarrassed with doing so, and hoping Evelyn didn't get the sense that he could be more psychotic than he honestly appeared to be.

Evelyn was just the classic, ironic, teenage misanthrope.

She was the girl who would so much rather be curled up on a couch watching some old horror classic than at a large social gathering, simply because keeping up conversations and trying to be tactful was positively draining. Whenever she was performing at concerts, teachers and audience members would always crowd about her to commend her on such wonderful talents; she’d have to nod, smile, thank them and say, ”Oh, it’s all thanks to Madame Bourgeoisie and Monsieur Grisante for being such excellent vocal coaches. Without them, I don’t know where I’d be!” In the Catholic all girls’ school she had strings pulled to attend (to access the top choir in the province, of course), she had to be compassionate and supportive of these girls she didn’t care much for. She had to remember who was dating whom and who did what after school or else she’d be deemed a “bad friend” and “just another girl”. Oh the things she did to flatter others. It was like a sick, twisted sort of blessing for her to be sent off to this place, though the people here were as social and willing to accept as her old school had been.

Of course, it had been an accident that kept her awake some nights with the guilt of it all, but nowadays she didn’t feel all too bad. She hadn’t been all to attached to those choir boys who flung themselves at her after so much sexual frustration, nor was she really all too enamoured by just how charming the male teachers were when they took advantage of their hormonal female students in secrecy. For a group of organized religious folk, they were all so vile. But that was just a dark side of Evelyn that didn’t dare reach the surface even as it bubbled away in her core... The power she had with just one wrong slip of power could bring hundreds back from their deaths.

The girl didn’t watch too much television (fed the disdain for humanity, most of the time) but when she did, she generally only indulged in Dexter. When she was in the eighth grade (or so) when the pilot came out, and she fell in love with the series simply for the wit and cunning the main character had. She was a lover of gory affects in horror films and the mysterious inner workings of clever serial killers, so the series was no letdown. But after she had discovered her power, she realized she had more in common than she could have initially foreseen. Both had a figurative mask – some sort of impression to uphold – that hid away their turmoil, both were guilty but neither incarcerated, and both had loved ones they had to protect.

The corner of Evelyn's lips began to turn downward. Her porcelain features were torn between anguish and frustration as everyone went about on their happy day. Even Lelend had someone to speak to while she was stuck in the corner by herself once more - the odd girl out. A wave of jealous washed over her at the pairs of friends that were quietly talking about things; Lily had shiftly moved back to her little group, leaving the small brunette to sit alone, forced to watch the rest of them silently. Swallowing back her distaste for the joy in the room, Evelyn weakly moved from the dining room, moving warily out into the living room before plopping down into the chair that Maria had been reading in the other day. It would be the first time that Evelyn was wishing that she were more normal, had a normal house hold and maybe even someone to hold dear. Though thinking about it rarely gave her anything.

Tucking her legs up to her chest, Evelyn rested her chin on her kneecaps. There would be no getting around the visit, the fact that she would be left alone with the nurses was enough to make her fake being sick - just to get out of eyesight. If the others couldn't see her then most of them wouldn't know. Evelyn’s lips parted and she let a soothing song wash over the empty living room as well as herself, but nobody else. She needed to be sure that all of her emotions were calm. Or somewhat close to the word.

Her mind was like a racetrack, though, several thoughts running through it all at once. What if her father just plani forgot about her? Left her here to die? Or to be sent off somewhere else? Was there another place out there for people like her if she got to old? Where would they send her when the others family members came here? She felt like a gatekeeper who had left her pedestal, immediately sending herself to hell. The song that had been softly coming from her lips got choked back, a small sob like noise destroying it. She would not cry right now. Chomping down on the inside of her cheek, Evelyn leaned her head back in the chair, eyes staring up at the ceiling until the threat of tears was over. No, she would save the waterworks for when she was alone in her room or perhaps when the nurses made he go back to classes by herself and she was forced to read old english aloud in a mocking accent. One could only hope.

There was only one window in the dining room, and it appeared the Leleld was occupying himself with scooting side to side, out of simple agitation, and looking out. The sun was blazing in the blue sky, with not a cloud to disrupt its happy mood, of sunshine. Smirking to himself, he used his plastic fork to stab absentmindedly at his scrambled eggs. His apatite was dissolving more and more as his healing progressed further. Though his stomach growled, looking at the food before him, making him want to hurl. It wasn't his fault, and every now and again he delicately placed a bit of egg in his mouth, and swallowed it whole out of sheer spite. Downing it with large gulps of water. That was something he still enjoyed anyways. . . Water. It was something he couldn't get enough of now.

The nurse that took care of him, let him know the fact that it was what was needed when healing. Or something of the sort. It still confused Lelend, and the majority of things said to him, jumbled within his mind, without him honestly wanting it to. Watching as a soft breeze, tickled the grass, causing it to sway he longed to be out there. Running, resting, allowing the grass to tickle his own skin as the breeze did it. . . It was a deep urge within him, and numerous times he had to stop his feet from turning around, and leaving the room to sneak out. It wouldn't be wise, and the nurses would go absolutely ape shit if they found out he was outside again. Since he was attacked by a wolf the nurses would never want him outside again until the thing was killed by rangers. Lelend sighed to himself, and decided to explain a more reasonable creature to the nurses later. Like a Coyote. Those were more common, and Lelend wasn't sure as to why the nurses lead right to a wolf.

That was when the idea of the hairs from him, struck him dumbfounded. They probably found stray hairs, and tested it as wolf.. Ah, crap. And the prints were too big to be a Coyote. No wonder Lily is so suspicious now. How is that believable? It's likely, but how common do you see wolves down here, munching on some humans? I'd have to have taunted a wolf to get it to attack me like that. . .They are respectable dogs. . Lelend thought to himself, going over all the facts he knew about the beastly-like creatures. They were feared, and not to be messed with. But even at their hungriest, they would not attack unless truly needing to. Sighing deeply, he looked back at his breakfast, swallowing his fears of gagging and sticking another piece into his mouth. The other residents were slowly coming awake, and going to the table.

Evelyn and Lily were one of them. Acheron probably didn't want to go to breakfast, since he was sure there would be a fight. In fact, there was a soft bickering between the two girls, until the nurses entered the dining room, and announced that today was the day. . . For visitors. Lelend snorted loudly, catching a few glances, and pitiful looks from those residents that were happy. . Lelend was everything but.

His parents wouldn't show. Surely his mother wouldn't. She'd be too frightened to even look at him, and would probably break out into tears, as if his face was from a horror movie. Tossing his breakfast lazily into the trash he glanced briefly at the nurses. Seeing the one that cared for him, too, look sad. The male merely shook his head, digging his fingers through his tussled locks. They were getting slightly coarse, like his wolf hair. . . It freaked him out briefly, before he stumbled from the room all together. He couldn't deal with Lily possibly caring for him, and the sparks that flew between Evelyn and Pilly Lily. He couldn't deal with pity glances, and happy faces. . . Not even sad looks from nurses, that cared for him a little too much. All he did was slump onto the couch in the main room, where they were forced sometimes together to watch movies.

Rest his head down onto the squishy arm rest. . And just think how fucked he'd honestly be if his father, or something did show up. Lelend briefly wondered also, what would have happened now to his and Eve's relationship, if she knew his past. Knew that he'd beat his own mother, and was raged on by his father. Thrown into a car, after being forced into ropes, and thrown into a mental ward. That night frightened him, and gave him not only prickles of goose flesh . . But chills that liked mischievously up his back side.

"Hey there Lelend. . . Rest well? Did they fight this morn at all?" A voice came from behind him, and Lelend already knew that it was Acheron. He yawned loudly, and placed himself on the top of the couch making it tilt for a second, before settling back down on the wood.

"Hey there Acheron . . Yeah I slept well, and yeah to the latter. They were kinda bickering, but that seems to have died down. Go get some breakfast. You don't have to worry. Today's visiting day.. You can see whoever." Lelend said, and saw Acheron's face light up a bit. But then die down right away, with a slight twinge of guilt in his eyes and then he went into the kitchen without a word. Leaving Lelend alone on the couch; and in fact he felt more alone than ever at this very moment.

‘Morning always seemed to come so fast’, thought Evelyn as she slowly opened her eyes. The sun coming through her small window was enough to blind and agitate her, the latter not often the case when it came to mornings. ”I guess it is that time already,” said the small brunette as she removed the lavish silk duvet off of her petite form. One foot after the other gently touched the cold floor, causing her to shiver at the sudden cold. Evelyn was not one for the cold because her blood already stole whatever warmth she had from her. The sad reality of being a woman; your body sometimes hates you. Walking over to her long elaborately decorated mirror the girl posed, placing her hands on her hips as she gazed at her body. She was pale, petite, fit and yet she still managed to look sick and weak the majority of the time. After Evelyn visually evaluated her body she shrugged, not particularly caring if she wasn’t as healthy looking as some of the other girls at the institution. Breakfast, the only time she could really escape the eyes of those around her. The little brunette simply had too much to do so sit down at eat. Not that she was opposed to eating; Evelyn just really never put the time forward to indulge in nutrition. Once she had properly dressed in low-rise tight fitting skinny jeans, and a white V-neck tee she continued out the door. It seemed that no matter how early she woke up no amount of time could cause her to remember to take her medication, as forgetful as the brunette was she wasn’t opposed to not taking it. Perhaps in a roundabout manner it was some sort of punishment for all of the outbursts she had as a child, and even as a teenager. Evelyn hated harming other creatures, and she was obviously thankful that the people here at the institute had no idea about the horrors her ability also held.

Lost in thought and not aware of where her feet had taken her Evelyn could only widen her eyes at the beautiful sight before her. ”Magnificent,” said the brunette as she took in the scenery outside the dining room window. Unlike Lily or Maria, Evelyn had a knack for just getting lost and not knowing how she got to her destination. She was always lost in thought trying to figure out a cure for her 'disease', and this was something she had been doing for the majority of her teens. Well, if you disregard the partying and running away from home bits. Evelyn hated being crippled by her ability, and feared just what evil it had passed the healing and good it did. Evelyn knew not of pleasantries, nor how to accept compliments for the good she had done with her gift. But at the top of this mountain she couldn’t think of anything pessimistic, the fresh air and warm breeze brought her a sense of clarity. Something she hadn’t been able to find in such a long time, after all there were very good reasons she was called ‘The freak’. And it wasn’t because she was pale either.

The rest of the house was still asleep, making Evelyn wonder if sneaking around would be easier in the morning then at night. Pacing the dining room once, the small brunette then entered the kitchen. It was practically deserted. There were a few stragglers who were either late for waking up the other students as well or were busy sorting out the food and getting everything ready. She nodded to a few of them and walked up to the counter, ready to pour herself a cup of orange juice when one was put in front of her. When she looked up, she saw the smiling eyes of one of the older nurses - the one from Lelend's room last night.

“Thought you forgot something. Now hurry up or you'll get in trouble for being in here.,” she said, and waved her off. She was sweet, a rare thing from the faculty. Evelyn relied on her when she was too groggy to say anything and these were one of those days. She smiled happily and took the cup, retreating back into the dining room which head most of the girls and a few boys now. Settling back into her chair, Evelyn gingerly sipped at her orange juice, eyeing the rest of the teens there until Lily plopped down next to her, making a few teens give them a second glance waiting for a fight to break out.

"I want to know what really happened - the wolf story is bull. I know you know what really happened." The growl in Lily's throat made Evelyn pause and tilt her head to the side.
"Did you ask Lelend what happened?" She asked calmly, though fear began to rush through her.
"Yeah, and he gave him that fake wolf thing." Lily' snapped back, watching through narrowed eyes as Evelyn sat her juice down.
"It's Lelend's story to tell you, not mind." Lily opened her mouth to say something else, but about that time a few nurses walked in, giving the duo a glance before slowing their speed to make sure that nothing happened.
"You really care for him, huh." The statement left Evelyn, making Lily jump and give a curt nod. Evelyn sat back into her seat, suddenly no longer wanting her juice. Perhaps Lily wouldn't be such a bad person to trust, though only time could really tell if that was true or not. A loud clearing of the throat echoed out of the living room and one of the head nurses wanted in with a clip board.
"Today's visiting day, I am sure most of you are aware..." The room was suddenly humming with energy and most of the students began to fidget in their seats, most having smiles on their faces. Even Lily and Maria seemed to been in a cheery mood and the nurse went on with the list, though Evelyn could only squirm. Her father wasn't going to show - granted this wasn't the first time that she would be the odd one out in this kind of thing. Her father was always out of town for most of the school events that need parents, a neighbor would always have to tell her or replace him in the smaller towns, though now there was no one.

As the older nurse handed out release forms to most of the students that were being visited, Evelyn busied herself, playing with a plastic fork in front of her and moving food around on the plate, anything to make the time go by her faster. Perhaps one day - if Evelyn could stay here that long - her father would come to visit her or even tell one of her other family members that she was there. Instead of just letting her become one of the families secrets, it wasn't her fault that her power had made her seem insane when really she was more sane then most of the people out there. Maybe if he could just come and talk to her... Evelyn shook her head, there would be no talks between them anytime soon - thinking about it was probably the only thing that she could really do about it.

: Lelend :
Acheron raised a brow, believing silently within that shoving Lily from Lelend's room, and taking her here - of all places - wasn't the smartest thing he could have ever done. Evelyn was quite tired, and looked horrid when she answered the door, but quickly stood her ground and even became a bit spiteful and drawling no matter what Lily threw her way. It was as if Evelyn was a no tolerance kind of person, and he was just taking air to it now; since Acheron is the type of person to be slow at times, or just not pay attention out of spite. Sighing deeply, he took two steps back and let the two girls work it out. Lily was utterly set on the fact that Evelyn had a large part in Lelend's getting hurt. Though that wasn't the case - or so, Evelyn hadn't psychically nor asked Lelend to do a thing - Lily was chomping and attempting at spitting her out.

But Evelyn obviously didn't give a damn, and wanted to sleep.

Placing a delicate hand on Lily's shoulder, she made her stop talking abruptly as she looked back with a fiery look that was almost clouded-over. Lily actually . . Cared greatly for Lelend, despite the fact she clawed at his ego often, and teased him whenever she got. Pilly Lily, looked like she cared, and was prepared to hop over people and throw others under buses to get to the bottom of it. It shocked the male momentarily and he blinked dazedly before clearing his throat and bowing his head. "Alright, I'm sorry. I simply thought that it wouldn't go this way, and that Lily would be so accusing. I think we should go now Lily" Acheron said sternly, taking charge for the first time since he entered the ward. "Evelyn looks tired. And frankly, I am myself. And so are you Lily.." Acheron said again, his words dropping right on her like bricks since she looked prepared to claw his face out, Maria-style.

"You should get some sleep, and we both have to take our medicine. Okay?" He said, using something she possibly enjoyed as a weapon, spinning her around and pushing her lightly in the direction of the staircase nearby. The blond merely huffed, and stabbed a finger in the air at Evelyn, threatening once more that she would suffer and she would learn the truth behind the situation. Sighing deeply once more, Acheron glanced at the brunette, smiling sheepishly. "I'm sorry Evelyn. I hadn't meant for this to happen; I had to get her off Lelend's back, and this was the first thought that popped into my head. I know what happen, and Lelend's still worried 'bout you.." Acheron said, swallowing hard and then rubbing the back of his neck tenderly. He could feel a knot coming on, causing ripples of pain to move throughout his body every time he moved it a certain way.

"Get some good rest, alright? Tomorrow's a new day" And then Acheron retreated down the stairs, to take his own pills and dry to drive the thoughts of Evelyn having something to do with things.. Out of her mind.

The Next Morning.

"Lelend.. Lelend. It's time to wake up" A soft voice cooed in his ears, making him smile and nod his head drowsily. He yawned and sat up with little effort, which .. woke him up suddenly, since the previous day was a hell of aches and pains. Grinding the sleep quickly from his eyes, he looked into the orbs of that of the nurse. "Ah, good to see you're doing better Lelend." The nurse replied, with a warming smile. Seeing his shocked expression, and curiously wondering if something was wrong.

"Uh.. Hi.. Nurse.." Lelend had forgotten her name again and mentally cursed himself for doing so. "Yeah, I'm doing alright.. But I feel so much better than the previous day. What happened?" He asked, meaning in his extraordinary speedy healing process.

"We don't know ourselves. But you are allowed to join the other residents for breakfast this morning." The nurse replied, with a timid smile and helped the male from his bed, out the room and down the hallway to the kitchen. It was still a bit early for people to be waking and getting breakfast, so he had a few minutes to get settled. Having a little conversation with the nurse about how him standing was the best, she was dismissed from his side for a moment to check on the other patients, and he was left to lean against the counter. His skin crawling with anticipation.

Lily's mouth had gone dry and her tongue seemed to stumble over itself. Something was wrong with the story that he was giving her - something that didn't quite add up in her head with what had happened. How had he not known that Evelyn was there? She had come out from behind the shed a few minutes before he was found behind it - attacked. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly when her brain finally clicked onto the right idea; Lelend was protecting her. Not her, but Evelyn. From what, she wouldn't know. But the idea that he would lie through his teeth before that girl made her curl her little hands into fists. She never got the chance to issue a word back to him before Archeron was ushering her out of the room and up the stairs towards Evelyn's room. If there was one person in the world that she didn't want to speak too, it would be this one. Letting out a shaky breath, Lily waited until after Archeron knocked to make her own knock, hitting the door a little louder then he had. Before she got to the third hit, the door open and Lily barely missed hitting Evelyn in the face - not that the girl would have noticed. She stood in the doorway, rubbin gher eyes with her fist, her natural messy hair even more messy from the sleep that she had fallen into. The girls eyes looked to Archeron then to Lily, her mouth opening to say something but Lily wouldn't have it. It was her turn to get some answers, and she was going to get them. One way or another.
"What the hell did you do to Lelend?"
------

Evelyn blinked back her surprise at Lily's sudden outburst, looking to Archeron for some kind of clue - though finding none. "I didn't do anything to Lelend. I was talking to him-"

"So you WERE outside behind the shed together?" The tone Lily used made Evelyn lean against the doorframe and give the girl a once over.

"-in the room that they put him in. That was the last time I talked to him. And the only thing that I might have done to him was maybe straighten his hair. What are you accusing me of now?" Evelyn sighed, running her fingers through her messy curls, only for her fingers to be trapt by some knots. Frowning, Evelyn began to owork her figers through her hair once more.

"Something is weird about you. Everything something happens - you are nearby. I don't hav e proof yet, but when I do, your ass is out of here." Lily snapped, turning on her heels and stomping back into her room without another glance at the two people that she had left standing there. Evelyn watched her go until the door slammed, then her eyes darted towards Archerons.

"Guess my ass is out of here, huh?" She teased, not all that upset about Lily's threat. If anything it would mean that the girl would be around her more. Not that that was a good thing, if anything, Lily would be put off by the lack-luster of what she found while following her around.
