"When I tried to enter the room the maid hurried me out," he said with a bow to his king. "Im sorry that I was not able to be of further use." The king nodded. Hearing the loud wails of his wife made him tense. A smile played across the royal mans face when he heard the cries of a new born child. He went to the door and his smile faded when he heard crying. He wondered if the baby wasnt going to live. The king knocked on the door and a maid opened it. Tears stained her cheeks.
"Sire," she curtsied. "The babe is fine and healthy. Its a girl. The queens" More tears came and the king gently pushed the maid out of the way to enter the room. He saw his queen holding the baby girl.
"my love," the queen whispered when she saw the king. He went to her.
"Such a beautiful child" He said pleased.
"I named her Aza. Keep her safe, Henry. Make sure she knows that her mother loves her" he looked at his wife confused. "Im bleeding out. I will die within the hour" As the queen said she died fifteen minutes later.
The king took care of Aza until she was five, that was when things started to go badly. A sorcerer was after the kingdom. Since, the king had not remarried he had named Aza heir to his throne. The sorcerer planned to kill both the king and his daughter. When he got there Aza was gone. He killed the king when he refused to say where he sent his heir. The king had hired a friendly witch to send her to the future. He hoped that Aza would return and claim the crown.

Abby opened the door of the orphanage and saw a little babe laying on the steps wrapped in purple blankets with golden trimming. She found a letter next to the child which read:
The baby girls name is Aza. Please take care of her until I can return for her.

The roleplay begins when the sorcerers son finds the witch and she tells him everything. He casts a spell to bring Aza back to the world, so he can kill her. When she appears in the world all the castle guards are on the lookout for her. The king of thieves sees her appear and finds her intriguing. His father was an old family friend of King Henry. He doesnt tell Aza right off the bat that she is the princess, instead he protects her and is trying to figure out a plan to put her back on the throne. What happens when they fall in love? Will the sorcerer kill her? Will the thief be able to protect her?

Fredrick looked at Lavier, then he nodded at the guards. "Four of you take him to the dungeon." he said. They walked over with shackles to chain him up.
"As for you, my dear." He grabbed her chin. "The wedding will be tomorrow and you will be all mine," Fredrick pulled her to him and kissed her neck repeatedly. She tried to pull away, but he held her tight. He let her go and she moved as far away from him as she could. He chuckled. "I do enjoy fear."
"I am not afraid of you," she whispered.
he grinned. "You don't sound so sure about that." He looked at two other guards. "You two, take her to my room." He called. They came forward and started to escort her way.

"What does it matter what I would do? I'm not the one with a kingdom waiting on me. I'm not the one with hundreds upon hundreds of people waiting for what you'll do or say. I am not the one that will have their head on a spear if I disappoint my people." Lavier replied evenly, yet daringly.
His eyes, much like his voice, were alight with that dare to have the prince cross the line. "Go ahead. Kill me. Screw up. Lead this bloody country with no help. See if I care." His look seemed to say.

Aza couldn't believe what Lavier was saying. She wouldn't want to stay married to Fredrick. She would rather die. Fredrick watched them both. "I could use her, but I think that is a dangerous chance for me to take." Fredrick sat down in his chair. "What would you do if she were your queen?" he asked as if this would answer his question.

"But why would you just throw her away? She has many, many more uses than just the crown." He reminded him, being careful of his words around the seemingly dangerous man.

Aza looked at Lavier wideeyed. "What is he talking about?" She asked.
Fredrick pulled her into his arms holding her close. "I had wizard after wizard track her down. Then finally one found her." He smiled at her. "You think i am going to let her go after all my hard work? No, I'll marry her, perhaps I'll have some fun with her on the honeymoon, but then I'll kill her before she can produce an heir. We don't need any more of their bloodline." He said.
Aza was starting to put two and two together. "You think I am the lost princess?" She asked. "That's impossible!"
"It's true, Princess Aza. It's completely true." Fredrick said. "Guards kill everyone in the village." He called.
"No!" Aza cried out. "Please, no! Don't do it!" She had tears in her eyes.
He looked down at her. Victory was in his eyes. "Marry me on your own free will and I will not destroy them." Aza looked at Lavier for help, but she could see no other way through it. "He doesn't love you, girl. Don't look at him for direction. If you don't marry me the entire village will burn with everyone inside."

His eyes widened slightly in shock. "No...there's no way..." He said, feeling his heart start to go haywire with the sudden realization.
Lavier wracked brain wildly to try to think of a way it could be logically possible.

Aza tried not to be hurt by his comment and kept her composure. Fredrick shrugged. "I guess if you don't love her then I can take her as my bride. She is pretty, maybe I will keep her after the wedding long enough so she can produce an heir. But she is so stubborn, just like her father." he said looking at her, then he averted his eyes to Lavier. "I can't believe you havn't figured it out yet." He smiled.
Aza looked at Fredrick confused. The topic brought mixed feelings. She never knew if her father, just left her or if he had a good reason. "You knew my father?" She asked.
He grinned. "I killed him."
Aza's shoulders sank and felt sadness fill her. Then she was angry. She stood and tried to hit the prince. He grabbed the chain and pulled it to where she couldn't reach him. He stood.
