Lol. I know the boundary between modern and unmodern :3 The musket predates modern weapons by at least 500 years ^-^ Anyway, I don't wanna bore you with my knowledge of history xD. I'm more into being fun and silly than boring.

Lol. Well, he uses both...he's just also the first to use the new muskets. Kind of like with The Familiar of Zero, where they had those guns and stuff, except that instead of flintlock pistols, its a musket of sorts o: [main reason why I went with muskets is cuz i found this awesome musketeer picture and I didn't want to not use it xD]

Bio: Jerrick was born and lived his first few months as as stray cat. He had grown to be very unhealthy and close to death. However, one day, a cute little girl had found him and took him home, nurturing him and bring him back to full health. Soon after that, Jerrick revealed to the Princess that he was actually a kind of Guardian that took the form of a cat, yet could change to a humanoid form when needed. Since he had been saved by this girl, he vowed to protect her with his life and keep her safe. At first it was just something he did out of a debt, but now, it is something he would do even if there was no debt.

This girl was a Princess of the Crystal Lake Kingdom. That made Jerrick a Guardian to royalty. He quickly learned how to shoot a gunpowder musket, one of the first ever made, and became the best Musketeer in the kingdom. His skills with the Musket are unmatched, but he isn't too shabby with a sword when he needed to use one.

(I assumed this is around the 1200-1500's since this looks like it would be a good era for such a roleplay. Is a musket okay? Gunpowder was found rather early on in the second Millenium A.D.....
