Replies: 20 / 3 years 27 days 18 hours 23 minutes 43 secondsThe kingdom of Athira is in danger, grave danger. A curse has been laid upon it and the only way to stop it, is by sacrificing their princess.
The problem? She was also cursed long ago and hidden in a cave far away from Athira. Inside, she lays on a bed in a contructed room deep within the caves depths always sleeping. The only way to free her is with a kiss, the twist on that too is that whoever kisses her, will be bound to her. The two cannot be far away from each other or else they begin to weaken and eventually they'll both die. She must obey everything and anything her hero tell her to do.
A saviour has stepped forth, being payed loads of money in order to fetch her and bring her back alive. He knows nothing of her being brought back in order to die to stop the curse, which when at it's peak will slowly kill off everything inside the kingdom. What happens though when he falls in love with her and finds out her fate?

Orion slid off of Dark Moon easily and looked through the saddle bag. He took out the bar of lavender soap and the new blue dress. He sighed then took them to her. "Here M'lady. I will go now so you can bath without me here." he said as he sat the things down on a rock next to her. He then turned and started to walk away from her. She wouldnt want a guy standing and watching her bath, that was for sure, but he needed to keep close by so he could hear her and make sure she stayed safe.

Once on the other side, she tapped his shoulder before jumping off the horse and going towards the water. With a smile she began to drink a little bit of the clear water, glad for the refreshing drink. After a moment she cupped her hands and splashed her face with the cool water.
"M'lady we are almost at the river." Orion said as he slowed Dark Moon down to a trot. They were at a slow trot as they went over the huge,blue-green river. His ice blue eyes looked out over the river as they crossed over it. He was as cold as ice and most people would freeze,but between him and Dark Moon's over heated body the temperature was perfect for a normal person.

She nodded, knowing that he would already know her name. Who didn't that came from the kingdom? As they raced forward, her hair flew out behind her and she smiled a little, the wind felt nice... Calming really. As a child she'd never been allowed to ride a horse, when she was finally old enough her parents said it was improper to make her horse run.
Her parents had always been so strict, telling her what she could and couldn't do all the time. If only they could see her now, she'd already gone against a few things they'd told her were rules but she didn't care. Her plan was to live as best she could for the remaining time she had, even if it wasn't what they wanted.

"Certainly M'lady. My name is Orion Blackblood,The Ice Wizard. You may just call me Orion and the one you ride upon, His name is Dark Moon." He said lightly. He tapped Dark Moon who began to gallop,faster and faster until the surroundings were just a blurr of colors and textures. It made things interesting and it was as if they were just sitting still upon Dark moons broad back. Orion sighed and looked at the road ahead of them At this rate the would gt to the river in no time.

Atalanie nodded "That would be nice" She said simply as she smiled at the thought of it. She wouldn't mind feeling refreshed when she returned home. She had no idea how far the kingdom was from being destroyed, so getting there quickly wouldn't be a bad idea, although she was sure it wouldn't be too soon. Her parents would have left extra time just in case but still, people would be dying while waiting for her.
"Would... you tell me your name please?" She asked, looking back to him. Although she was royalty she didn't like to act like it. She didn't like people looking at her as if she were higher than them. She wanted everyone to be treated equally unlike her parents. They believed in the whole upper class thing, one of the reasons that they always faught.

Orion placed his strong hand around her slim waist and lifted her on to the horse easily. "Its 5 days ride,but we can make it three if you wish." he said in his smooth tone as he climbed on the horse behind her. He placed one arm on either side of her and tapped Dark Moon's sides. Dark Moon took off at a fast trot happily and proudly "M'lady,If you would like there is a river a few hours ride from here where you can freshen up. The ladies in the town sent you fresh clothes and lavender soaps." he said lightly. He imagined the cool river water would feel good after so long.

Atalanie followed, looking around the cave as she did so. Once she got outside she looked around in awe, the world around had changed so much since she'd been out. The land here was still beautiful, but she knew that in the kingdom it wouldn't be as good. It would be dark, dying and simply scary.
The thought made her frown a little, but she shook it off and smiled again, determined to spend the last days happy, smiling and simply enjoy it as much as possible. She walked over to Orion and his horse. "Alright. How far away is my kingdom anyways?" She asked, it had been so long that she really didn't remember just how long it would take to return to her home.

Orion nodded and led the way out of the cave. Once outside he stopped at Dark Moon and waited for her to come to him. She seemed happy to be awake after all these years. He stroked Dark Moon's hot hide and and spoke to him "I found her easy enough and now we just need to take her home." Dark Moon whinnied and shook his mane as an answer. They had a long way back as well but he would make it quick as possible. They could even stop by the river so she could wash up before appearing in front of all those people once more.
