Miku was resting soundly, laying flat on her back in bed. She snored quietly as she slept. Though, when the midnight bell chimed, she stirred slightly. Attempting to fall back into the deep sleep she once had, a sudden feeling made her nervous.

Warm air flew onto her lips and nose, making her crinkle it and open her eyes. Shouting in fright, she shot back from the bed, evading the stranger that had attempted to kiss her. He was tall, but in the sudden light, she couldn't pick out much beyond that. Sitting up, leaning against her pillow, sheet clutched to her chest, she stared at the man, her mouth open in a silent scream.

He nodded and narrowed his eyes. I only know you this well because... he thought, ...because... I... he fights himself, I can't. I'm sorry, Hatsune-san..., I'm just too weak.

He turned around and walked out of the room without a reply to Miku, feeling is heart sink in his chest because he wasn't strong enough to tell her how he truly feels about her.
She may never know. The thought in his mind made him... just... feel so sorry for himself. The fact that he was afraid to tell her how he felt himself made him feel... sad.

He had to make a change... do something differently. Boost his strength somehow.
And then, he headed straight to his room in search of something he knew would help. A mask.
With that mask, he could hide his face and tell her directly how he felt about her, without her even knowing it was him saying it.

The clock struck twelve. It was time... Miku was surely resting now.
It was time.
Kaito placed the mask over his face, and left to enter Miku's room again. A cape flowed behind him as he stepped inside, he stepped to her bed and leaned nearer and nearer to th girls' lips, readying himself to kiss her for he first time...

Miku rubbed the back of her head, smiling lightly. "Yes, I am rather tired. You know me so well." She said laughing lightly. Backing up slightly, she smiled and bowed her head. Then with a quick and child-like motion, she skipped over to her bed, collasping on it.

Sitting up, realizing she had yet to change, she waved a hand at Kaito. "Thank you, Kaito-san, for playing such wonderful music."

Magnificence... pure magnificence. Sound was one of the most precious senses a human body preserved, one that Kaito had held dearest of all. If he had lost his most valuable sense, he'd be near to nothing in this world. Just a seeing eye. Nothing more.
Nothing musical... would ever reach his ears again.

Only one that understood the luck of hearing could be sympathetic to one without the privilege.
And thus, Kaito continued to play until the song was over, then gently placed the violin down in the corner. He walked back to Miku and patted her shoulder with a sweet smile, "All right, Hatsune-san. You look exhausted. It would be good for you to rest now."

Miku stood there in awe. Kaito was magnificent, just like he always was. The notes flew through her, like a light wind on a summers day. A grin came to her face as she swayed to the music, rather interested. She was musically inclined, and enjoyed the atmostphere music gave people.

Miku hummed the tune to herself, not hearing a single mistake. Very proud of her teacher, she clapped her hands softly, not making any noise. The clap was to tell him how well he was doing, but not wanting him to stop.

"I know," Kaito said. "It was a compliment, Hatsune-san."
He approaches near her and smiles softly. He was proud of her; making him not want her to stop playing and all. He would soon pay her back for such feats.
"Now then, I will play for you, and show you what you missed."

And, nonetheless, he did. He pulled out his own violin, played the son as well as possible, and let the melody hum in his craving ears.

Miku nodded and scratched her cheek. With a tiny sigh, she stared up at him. "Yes, I know. I'm not that good, Kaito-san. Its only natural." She said rather quickly, not enoying speaking of her faults. She knew that she had them, but alas, she couldn't quite take the fact seriously.

The warmth that becomes of his smile heats around twenty percent or so, and he uncrosses his arms from his chest and removes himself from the wall and steps closer to his love. The one that he cares for most...
The one that was so sweet her presence tasted like honey.

"I heard you playing," he speaks finally, throwing a glance towards her contained violin. "Every tune was nearly perfection. There were some notes you missed, though."

Miku turned her head, looking over at her advisor and teacher, Kaito. With a tiny smile, she waved a tiny hand at him. "Kaito-san, nice to see you this afternoon." She said sweetly. Bowing her head in respect, she looked at him. Slightly confused, she scratched her cheek. "May I ask what it is you wish?" She asked, not meaning to sound rude. She enjoyed spending time with Kaito, but the question still made her wonder.
