Once Ayama was done devouringe her vegitables, she moved on to her sausages. Each bit was covered with a bit of her mashed potato. She didn't exaclty like the flavor of these sausages, but she put up with it.
When she finnished, Ayama sat back in her chair so she was comfortable, and aimlessly began to day dream, as she waited for her friend to finish.
Namine shrugged at her friend, grabbing the salt and putting some on her potato and veggies, then began to eat the veggies with slight dislike. She knew her friend lied them, but really, how could you?
"You could try salt and pepper," she said, raising an eyebrow at her not to bright friend. She herself put a small amount of pepper, only on her potato, and dived straight into her vegies.
People called her weird because she loved vegies, but she honestly didn't care what other people thought of her.
Namine pouted at her friend, but ddn't answer at her friend. "But acting is fun." She giggled, then placed her fork in her potatoes and took a bit, then sighed. "They need spice!" She giggled, then took a few more forkfuls.
"You put on to much of an act," Ayama said, expression completely unreadable. She didn't like people knowing her emotions, especially in situations such as this.
The head mistress stood up from the head seat at the teachers' table, and hushed the other students.
Grace began, and after, each student was given their meal.
Sausages, steamed vegies and potato on the side. A little bland.
Namine rushed after her, gaining a glaring eye from an adult who stood near the door. She bit her lip, nodding her head before taking her seat. "Phew." She whispered, but the smile was still on her face.
Ayama sighed and jogged along next to her, since running was too fast for her.
"Die? I'd welcome death any day," she let out a laugh, which was usually quite rare for her. Some how, this situation was funny. The fact that if they didn't make it before grace, they'd end up with three lunch detentions.
She could already hear the other students yelling, better than being quiet, as a sigh of everyone saying grace.
THey made it to the next set of double doors and Ayama hurried into the room and sat in her seat, waiting for Namine to join her.
Namine ran after her, half laughing and half puffing. "Aw, come on. Slow down!" She muttered, as she threw open the doors after Ayama. She quickly began wo wish she was wearing warmer clothes but couldn't do anything about it now. "Well, lets go and die." She laughed, then began to run again, but slowly.
"You just had to fall asleep!" Ayame called as she ran down the corridor. The dining hall happened to bein a seperate bulding to the dorms, and it usually took you about seven minutes to get there, when walking.
"You couldn't have done your homework like you wanted, could you?" she wasn't angry, only frustrated.
She stepped down the stair quickly, hoping she wouldn't slip. She ran out the double doors and into the brisk Autumn breeze. She stopped and waited for Namine to catch up, sports had never been her area of expertise.
Hey, so why are we at this place anyway? Like not at our own home?
Namine has been lying on her bed, her face buried in her pillow while her homework spread around her, not done.
When Ayama called, she shot up, looking around. "I didn't do it!" She called, then smiled sheepishly.
She quickly followed Ayama.
"You could rent one," said said, tapping away at the keys. If kids wanted money, they signed up for jobs, such as kitchen duty, or maid.
Ayama got money from her parents, simply because her parents were divorced and her father had to pay for her upbringing or whatever.
Ayama stared at her computer, and the next time she looked at the time, they had three minutes until dinner.
She shot up.
"We gotta go!"
Namine smiled, then shrugged. "Well, Im frecken bored. So bored, I would actually do my homework. I would prefer to be on a computer, but mine is still at the shop." She gritted her teeth, then just smiled.
Namine did want a boyfriend, but never seemed to get one. She had her crushes and things, but nothing ever worked out. She always said she didn't need one, but truthfully she really wanted one just so someone could be there for her apart from Ayama.
"What ever happened to 'homework is a no'?" she sighed and tapped a few keys. It appeared that she was typing something. "Not that I really care what you do, I'm going to continue with this."
She hadn't told Namine what she was doing, after all, what was the point?
Ayama had never really cared for guys, but Namine always struck her as the type of girl always trying to get a boyfriend.
Namine watched Ayama carefully, because sometimes she wonders just what she was doing on her computer, but she usually didn't pry.
Namine rolled her eyes. "Most rumors are lies, and if they are true hes probably some ugly guy." She shrugged, taking out of her bag a few sheets of science homework she hadn't done yet.
