[center [i [font "times new roman" Lyella Clayton has had everything going for her. She was born into one of the richest families in the world. She pretty much had her father wrapped around her little finger. She would just take one look in his direction, and he couldn't tell her no. She's an heiress to a lot of money. She knew about this since she turned eighteen years old. Her mother on the other hand had a different idea for Lyella. She wanted her daughter to see what it was like being poor, and then maybe she wouldn't depend on money, and her father as much. So Lyella's mother took it into her own hands, and cut the woman off from everything. She only have three hundred dollars to her name, and once it was gone, it was gone. She wouldn't be able to get more money, unless she found a job and worked for it. Lyella was pissed, but her mother told her it would be a good learning experience for her.]]]

[center [i [font "times new roman" So when she was cut off, she was told she had to start going to college as well, do something with her life. She just can't have everything handed to her like she had been. That's something she wasn't expecting, but deep down she was really excited about it. She was going to do something new, and maybe along the way she'll meet some new people. People who would make her feel something besides feeling like a total outcast. So when she enrolls at Mountain View College in New Hampshire, is when she feels like she's finally able to do something. She ends up moving out there, with the three hundred dollars in tow. That's when she meets [b Your Name Here]. A student who's trying his hardest to make do with his life, and someone who Lyella feels some type of connection too. [b Your Name Here] felt that same connection the moment he laid eyes on her.]]]

[center [i [font "times new roman" [b Your Name Here] lived on the poor side of town, and he didn't really care. He made do with his job, and going to college. His parents disowned him when he was younger, and since then he had to grow up really quick, and figure things out on his own. He had some really good friends, and he was getting closer and closer to making his dreams happen. When he meet Lyella, he feels like he needed to take her under his wing, and he felt like he needed to drop everything to help her out. Little did he know, she was the spoiled rich girl he hated. He thought she was like him, struggling with money, and living day by day on small paychecks, and horrible hours for work. The two start spending more and more time together, and they slowly start realizing they have feelings for one another, something neither one of them was expecting to happen.]]]

[center [i [font "times new roman" While Lyella and [b Your Name Here] were slowly exploring their feelings for each other, is when Lyella's cousin Ember arrives in a limo, trying to hunt the woman down. [b Your Name Here] and Lyella were in the small coffee shop when Ember found her. She told her that their aunt Maryellen had finally passed away, and they needed Lyella at the reading of the will. That's when she would find out how much money she would be getting. Maryellen adored Lyella more than the other's, so she was bound to get a huge sum, and maybe the mansion that Maryellen had lived in. That's when it dawned on [b Your Name Here], Lyella wasn't like him, she was the spoiled rich girl. He realized she had been lying to him this whole time, and he felt like his heart had been ripped out of his chest just then. He hated himself for believing in her.]]]

[center [i [font "times new roman" When Lyella saw the look on his face, she tried to talk to him, and explain everything. [b Your Name Here] didn't want to hear it. He wanted nothing to do with her. He wanted her out of his life, and he made that clear. He said some really horrible things, and didn't regret any of them. When Lyella ended up moving back to New England where she came from, was when [b Your Name Here] realized one other thing. He had fallen in love with the woman. The way she had treated him was amazing. What'll happen when he realizes it too late? Will he chase Lyealla down? Or will he let the woman go? Will Lyella be willing to give up her status to try and be the person [b Your Name Here] thought she was? You'll never know unless you join [b [i Heiress In Hiding]].]]]

[center [i [font "times new roman" I'm going to make this super easy on you. This idea was something I had dreamed about, and I'm wanting to work on this. Work up to the whole romance. Roleplay Responses

[font "times new roman" The walk to the coffee shop was short, and it was kind of peaceful. She was surprised that the other male went ahead o her, but her friend stopped her. Lyella looked up at the woman standing on the stairs, and raised a 'brow slightly. [#DB7093 "What is it?"] she asked her. The other shook her head a bit. [b "I don't know if I should leave you alone with him, or if I should come with you. But I know you'd hate me if I came, so just be careful please. I don't want to end up turning on the news, and finding you missing"] she said with a small smile, trying to keep the mood light between them.]

[font "times new roman" That's one thing Lyella loved about the woman. She was always looking out for her, and she opened her arms for a hug. The other walked down the stairs, and hugged her. [b "Please call me later on. I love you Ly"] she said into her ear. The red head pulled back and smiled a bit. [#DB7093 "I love you too, and I will call you as soon as I get back to my apartment later on"] she promised. The two went their different ways, and Lyella made her way to the coffee shop. She stood outside the door for a moment, and sighed a bit seeing the two men inside.]

[font "times new roman" It did kind of tick her off, that the other was sticking around. She could understand the whole being protective thing, but he was taking it a little too far. She shoved that aside as she opened the door and walked inside. She went to the counter, ordered a mint coffee, paid and then made her way to the table. She cocked her head to the side, and looked towards Kevin. [#DB7093 "Honestly I don't think I invited you along. Seeing as I was hoping to just talk to Bryan alone, because I don't have anything else to really do. So if you don't mind, could you kindly leave?"] she asked him.]

[font "times new roman" She heard her name called and she turned and moved towards the counter and grabbed her coffee cup. She made her way back, and pulled a chair out. She then turned her eyes to Kevin and smirked a bit. [#DB7093 "I'm not trying to be a bitch, but it would be nice just to be left alone for awhile ya know? It's not like I'm going to murder him or anything. We are in a public place after all. So please, step back and let Bryan handle things by himself, without having you around. As you can clearly tell I don't have my friend here"] she said lightly.]

[font "times new roman" She lifted the cup to her lips, took a sip of the coffee, and winced slightly at the bitter taste. The only thing that kept her going a lot of the time. She placed the cup onto the table, and waited for either one of the men to say something. She was trying to keep her cool, but was growing annoyed that Kevin thought he had to follow Bryan around like a lost little puppy dog. She bit the inside of her cheek, as she put her hands into her lap, and kept her mouth shut for the time being.]

[font "palatino Linotype" No. Bryan was far from that type. His friend, Kevin, might’ve been one of those. He was the typical frat boys. He was very intelligent but a horrible human being when it came to women. Bryan was even surprised that it was so easy for his to get with the ladies. Then again Kevin was good looking and had a silver tongue therefore it wasn’t farfetched for him to get any girl he wanted. On the other hand, Bryan was entirely different. Sure he had some looks but he had a hard time trying to express himself. Maybe that was his actual downfall? He wasn’t sure, but he’d try to work on it later on, just not right now.

“Oh, um yeah. Sure.” He responded happily to her invite. Of course Bryan wasn’t a fan of coffee, though he did admire the smell of it. The taste was disgusting to him though. But if this meant getting a chance to get to talk to her for a little while longer, he’d put up with it. I mean, he didn’t necessarily have to drink coffee, right?

“Maybe this can give us the chance to definitely runaway from our loving peers? You know, Kevin and Ophilia?” He chuckled.

“I heard that.” Kevin called out as he crossed his arms over his chest. Kevin was probably going to make this more awkward than it already felt. But Bryan shook off the thought and kept his eyes on Lyella with a soft chuckle escaping his lips.

At the coffee shop…

Bryan kept himself quiet as he sat in a small booth by the window. His eyes fixated on the light blue curtains that gently swayed on the window. “Did you really have to come with us?” Bryan spoke softly at Kevin who only chuckled evilly.

“You know I gotta make sure that my boy is taken care of. You know, since you’re so naïve and all.”

“Naïve? What the fuck?” Bryan looked over at Kevin. “I’m not naïve.”

“I mean naïve in the whole dating world context.” His friend explained before noticing the young female approaching. “Now hush up before she finds out.”

Bryan smirked before smiling over at Lyella. “Sorry, I’m still trying to get rid of my pest here, but he insists on staying here because he’s afraid you’re going to eat me.”

“In what sen—“ Bryan elbowed his friend once more in his ribs causing him to jerk over in pain.

“Sorry, but my dog sometimes forgets his manners.” Bryan smiled politely.]

[font "times new roman" Lyella wanted nothing more than to sink into the ground. She mad a mental note to talk to the other woman, when they were able to be behind closed doors, and she had no where else to run. She looked towards Bryan and smirked a bit at his question about her liking him. It wasn't that hard for the woman to like someone. In all honesty, that was her major down fall. She liked people way too much to the point, she would do anything to make them happy, and yet they wouldn't do the same to her. She mulled over her next words before replying to the male in front of her.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "Honestly, yes. In a way I guess you can say I liked you. There's something about you, that I can't really put my finger on, and I honestly don't know what to really think about it. You don't seem like all the other's around campus who are looking for a quick fuck, and then leaving. I don't know if that's just me, but that's what I'm gathering from you. As for your friend, he could just be looking out for you, or like you said he can just be a total dick"] she said with a warm smile. This is the first time she's really opened up, and fully talked to someone besides her small circle of friends.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "It's a pleasure meeting you Bryan"] she said lightly. She meant it too. It was like a breath of fresh air pretty much. He wasn't pressuring her to talk about herself, and honestly she didn't know if she'd be able too. She wanted to be comfortable around someone, and Bryan was putting off that air about him. She wrapped her arms around herself, and looked towards the coffee shop that was on campus. The one other place she loved, more than being in her dorm, away from the outside world. She then turned her eyes back towards him, and broke out into a smile.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "If you don't have anything else to do at the moment, you are more than welcome to join me at the coffee shop across the way. I kind of don't wanna go inside, because I know Ophilia will end up bombarding me, and I don't want to deal with that at the moment"] she admitted. The other woman wore her out, and right now, she wouldn't mind the calm manner being around Bryan at the moment. That's only if he wanted to stick around, and maybe then they could sit down, and really talk, without people bothering them often.]

[font "palatino Linotype" So her classes were cancelled and she decided to come back to find him. She was an odd one at that but still had managed to cause an impression on him. That was something hard to do when it came to him. He wouldn’t just like anything or anyone just because, there always had to be a reason behind it. And so far, this girl was pretty much giving him a reason to want to get to know her maybe a little more.

“My friend? Nah, he’s just a—“His eyes shifted over to her friend as she spoke. They weren’t flirting… Just having a mere friendly conversation. If simply being nice to someone meant flirting then people everywhere were always flirting. And Bryan honestly wasn’t the type to flirt around like his friend Kevin. No, Bryan was far from being a playboy. But people always thought that he was. He didn’t blame them though, he knew that his pack of friends weren’t the best of people, but they were still his friends to a degree.

“No need to be sorry. I get it, she’s your best friend and friends always take care of one another. That’s no big deal.” He smiled. “I’m Bryan.” He held his hand out to her. “And I don’t know, but coming out of your shell seems like a pretty big leap for someone who likes to be an introvert.” He chuckled. ”I would know, I used to be the same to a point. “As for your friend, I’m sure she means well. That only means that she loves you. Now in my case, about my friend, Kevin, he’s a dick. He just wants to annoy the living shit out of me on a daily basis.” He shook his head. At least she was lucky to have some to give a damn about her in that manner.

Now that he thought about it more often, he really looked over himself more than anyone... maybe that's why his friends thought he was rather prude. But... he really wasn't... “So, class was cancelled and you decided to find me to talk to in your free time.” He raised an eyebrow. “Does that mean you liked me?” He joked.

[font "times new roman" The female wasn't really expecting the male to be gone already, and she had tried her hardest to keep her head ducked down, but she heard the man's voice, and she looked up towards him. A small shade of pink tinting her cheeks just then. She cleared her throat and shook her head. [#DB7093 "Well.. My morning classes ended up getting canceled. I didn't know about it, but thanks to my best friend, I wouldn't have tried pulling on a locked door"] she admitted, feeling her cheeks turn a deeper shade of pink.]

[font "times new roman" This wasn't the kind of thing she was looking forward too, but what other choice did she have? That's when she spotted the male's friend watching them, which seemed to make matters worse. She then looked up at the male before her. [#DB7093 "Did I intrude on something on my way back? He seems a little bit excited for something"] she said lightly nodding towards the male on the steps. It wasn't really any of her business anyway, but she was a curious one. She shifted her bag off her shoulder, and onto the other shoulder.]

[font "times new roman" Ophilia on the other hand was still standing there, and she looked between the two. [b "Listen, I love the little flirting session going on right now, but if you aren't going to sweep her off her feet, and take her off and get to know her, I would kind of like my best friend to help me study"] she said as she crossed her arms over her chest. That seemed to set Lyella off, and she turned her attention to the woman beside. She had kind of forgotten the woman was right there with her. She bit her lip lightly and sighed.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "You can head on inside, there's nothing, and no one stopping you from doing that. I'll catch up with you"] she snapped. Ophilia rolled her eyes and looked towards Bryan. [b "You better make it worth while, that and you hurt my best friend I will hunt you down"] she hissed as she brushed past the male. Lyella wanted nothing more than to go with her. She was embarrassed like no other, and Ophilia had made matters worse. She didn't know what really happened just then either. She sighed and smiled sheepishly up towards him.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "I am sorry about her.. She's like a mother bear over me. Ever since I moved here, and finally started coming out of my shell more, she feels like she has to protect me from everyone around me pretty much.. I'm Lyella by the way"] she said lightly. She wrapped her arms around herself, and held onto the strap of her bag, letting her words hang in the air. She was still kind of annoyed with the other woman, but she hoped that wouldn't stop Bryan from getting to know her, if he wanted too.]

[font "palatino Linotype" Bryan watched as the young woman scurried off. His eyes followed her until she had disappeared in the distance. She now seemed a little more interesting outside of the classroom. Then again, it could’ve been because she wasn’t with her nose buried in books and/or with her friends. She always seemed to be smiling yet with something on her mind. And he always wondered what was going on but he wasn’t anyone or was in any position to ask her.

Bryan found himself smiling at the thought. But his smile had suddenly faded when he felt a hand grasp his shoulder. He looked over at his friend, Kevin. “Don’t tell me you just let such a sweet thing like her just walk away without getting her number.” He heard him say mockingly.

“Why would I ask her for her number if I just met her?” Or at least he had just met her personally. “I’m not that type of guy. I don’t know how many times I’m going to tell you this.”

“As many times as it takes until you can finally admit it that you’re lonely and need to get laid.”

“Lonely, maybe. Getting laid, no.” He smirked before brushing his friend’s hand from his shoulder. “I need to get to get to class. Maybe I’ll finally be able to finish my project before Mr. Henderson wants to chop off my head.”

“He wants to chop everyone’s head. But you, I’m sure he won’t. You’re too responsible for that.” Kevin chuckled.

Bryan smirked again. “You’re saying it like it’s a bad thing.”

“No. I’m just saying that you should get out more often and live a little, that’s all.”

Bryan shook his head. “I’ll be fine if you’d just back off about it.” It was then that he heard some footsteps coming in his direction. His eyes shifted over to the redhead from earlier. He raised an eyebrow. He was sure there was nothing left on the floor. Yet his eyes looked around before looking back to her. Kevin began to laugh and that only aggravated him more. Of course he’d be laughing. He was going to make his life miserable now. He was going to try to hook him up with someone he didn't know. Or probably make him embarrassed about the whole situation. Bryan really wasn't looking forward to this at all.

“Hey, I thought you were late for class. Decided to ditch or did you leave something behind?” Bryan smiled.

“Or maybe she has the balls to ask you for your number.” Kevin whispered over to Bryan with a snicker. Bryan elbowed his friend in the stomach before approaching her.

[font "times new roman" The female was kind of surprised that he hadn't started yelling at her. Anyone else would have gotten pissed off, and bit her head off. When he asked if she was in one of his classes she nodded lightly. [#DB7093 "That I am. I don't have that one right now, I have it in a couple of hours."] she admitted. The one class she was going to be late for happened to do with History, and the World War's. The one thing she loved learning about more than anything. Even when she had been in High School. There was something about the wars that drew her in. The way people lived in those days, it was like she felt more at home among that era for some reason.]

[font "times new roman" When he said that she hadn't caused any damage, she broke out into a smile. [#DB7093 "Thank God. I seriously thought I had.. She hated herself for having to hit and run so to speak. She would make it up to him sooner or later though, unless he decided otherwise. She ducked her head, some of her hair falling into her eyes as she slipped past him, and made her way down the walkway.]

[font "times new roman" This time she made sure to watch where she was going. That's when she heard her name being called. [b "Lyella! There you are! Haven't you checked your bloody phone?"] her best and only friend Ophilia called out. Lyella looked towards the black haired woman and shook her head. [#DB7093 "No, I was in a hurry to get to class. That and I ran into one of the most attractive men in one of my classes. I made a total fool of myself"] she said. The woman shook her head lightly, and shifted her bag from one shoulder, to the next. [b "That's the thing, both of our morning classes were canceled"] she said.]

[font "times new roman" Lyella looked at the woman. Was she being real right now? Or was this her way of making her even more late than she was? She sighed lightly as she fished her phone out of her bag, and unlocked it. She opened up the messages and her heart sank. So she had made a total fool of herself for no reason. [#DB7093 "Oh my fucking God.. I can't believe this is happening.."] she breathed out. The woman looked at her and smirked a bit. [b "Was he really that attractive?"] she teased. Lyella's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink just then.]

[font "times new roman" She wanted nothing more than to just sink into the ground and forget this whole thing happened. She nodded a bit. [#DB7093 "I'm not gonna lie, yes he is. That and I'm supposed to be seeing him in class in a couple of hours. I can't do this right now"] she said, shoving her phone back into her bag. Ophilia laughed lightly, and slung her arm around the woman's shoulders. [b "Well, you have the morning off. Might as well find him again, and make it up to him then"] she said. Lyella looked towards the woman, and shoved her aside. She was feeling horrible, and Ophilia was making matters worse. Maybe she should go into work till her after noon class.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "I hate you so bad right now"] she said trying to hide her face. [b "You love me, and you know it. Come on, we have some studying to do, and maybe that hunk of your's will still be there"] she said taking the woman's arm, and leading her back the way she had come. She wanted nothing more than to have a strike of lightening hit her, and take away this horrible feeling. She didn't say anything more, as she was led to the library, her eyes scanning the faces for the male she had run into. Now she really did have to make it up to him.]

[font "palatino Linotype" Days like these were the reason why Bryan hated the world the most. His parents wouldn’t stop bickering about his younger sister, Millie. All because she had decided to make a new friend who happened to be a boy. Like if that was the end of the world. Though, to his parents it was. Millie was their prized joy. The girl they always wanted. Thick long golden curls, paled white skin, bright green eyes and rose red lips and cheeks. Yes, she was their little doll. The ticket to their freedom. In his father’s eyes, Millie was going to be paired up with his boss’s son. He was the heir to a fortune and the next in line to become a CEO to take over the company. Why wouldn’t his father want his daughter be the bait to catch the biggest fish in the pond?

Millie was hiding in a small closet behind the sofa behind the curtains. This had been her hiding place since she was younger. And Bryan knew that she was hiding in there to get away from the noise her parents were making in the kitchen. Bryan had crouched down and opened the door slowly. “Millie?” He called out as he soon noticed the young woman sitting down while covering her ears. Her eyes tightly close shut. “Millie, I know you’re scared, but come on out. Let’s go to school together today, yeah?”

The young girl opened her eyes, dried up tears stained her cheeks and red nose. She’d been crying for a while and he didn’t blame her. “Let’s go baby girl.” He called out with a smile. The young girl instantly darting out of the closet and hugging him tightly.

For having the body of a young fourteen year old teenager, Millie still had the mind of child in a way. Their parents didn’t let her do much and did everything for her. From choosing what she liked, what she wanted, to what she said or ate. It was a poisonous cycle that Bryan knew too well. And sadly tried to break many times. But each time led to failure. And now, all he would try to do was ease the pain until he was old enough to take her away from this place. From this so called ‘home’.

The two left the house for days. Bryan had made sure to distract his sister by means of taking her for a drive around the town. Going to the local beaches, malls and even paying for a movie with what was left over from his savings. Yes, Bryan had made sure that his sister was able to laugh again, to see that little pretty smile of her face. She deserved to be happy and remain safe. Just like anyone else. That was his goal. And he’d keep it just like that until…

As soon as Bryan had opened the door to the house, he had felt a harsh and powerful force strike his face, causing him to stumble backwards. Shaking his head, his eyes tried hard to focus on what the hell had hit him. And it was then that he had seen his father, drunk as he could be, staring down at him. “You fucking little piece of shit! What the hell did you think you were doing!?”

Bryan furrowed his eyebrows. To his knowledge, he had done nothing wrong. But of course, he was the bad guy in this whole poor excuse of a family. “I didn’t do anything wrong.” He spat out blood and reached up to rub his jaw. Millie who had just walked in simply froze in place as she saw her brother on the floor, her parents standing around him.

“What did you do to Millie?!” His father growled. But Bryan only stood up and smirked.

“I did nothing to her, you fucking sick bastard.” Bryan replied only feeling as he was struck again.

“You better not have!” As if Bryan was even capable of doing anything like that to his sister… He loved her just like that, like his baby sister. But of course his family was too jacked up to know the difference between genuine love, and sick twisted lust. And Bryan was too tired to even try to fight this. Millie didn’t help either. The young girl had rushed over to him and stood in front of him, as if trying to protect him. As if he needed protection. The one who had needed it was the one trying to protect him. And this aggravated their parents even more.

“Get out of the way, Millie! This has nothing to do with you. Did he hurt you sweetie? Huh?” His father began as he reached out to her. Bryan pulled her away and behind him. His father grit his teeth.

“I don’t know what’s going on through your heads, but it’s nothing like that. Besides, I’m not the one who’s trying to sell my own fucking daughter to my boss’ son!” He could hear his mother gasp. “Yeah, like if it wasn’t fucking obvious enough.” He snapped at them.

“Get out!” He heard his mother yell at the top of her lungs with anger.

“What do you mean get out?” Bryan protested as Millie was suddenly ripped from his fingertips.

“You have no right to take Millie away!” His mother yelled in turn. “Or any right to say such horrible things!”

“Like if it isn’t true.” Bryan scoffed as his father smacked him once more. This time, Bryan could feel a warm liquid seep from his nostrils. But his eyes remained glue to the young girl.
“You either get out or we will call the cops!”

“Oh, so you’re throwing me out? I’m only fucking sixteen! Great parenting job guys, really.” He clapped his hands with a sarcastic tone of voice. Millie’s eyes were now full of tears again, something that had only yanked at his heart. Something told him that if he stayed any longer… things would get worse… and not for him. He didn’t care about himself but Millie…
“Fine, I’ll go.” He looked at his parents. “And when I make it big, I’ll make sure you all will pay for all of this.” He muttered before taking one last look at his sister before leaving.

Years later…

“Bryan.” The male’s gaze soon shifted from the book over to his friend who was smirking at him.

“What?” He responded, his friend only taking the book from his hands.

“Dude, you have to stop studying so much. You got to live a little. It’s your college years! The years you have to make your best memories in! And might I mention, also the wildest dreams come true?” He winked at him.

“Yeah, yeah.” Bryan sighed. “I have my whole life to make those dreams come true, I want to first focus on getting my shit together. Everything else can be added on later.” He smiled. His friend only pouted.

“What about the babes?” His friend began as he smiled. “We have to get you laid.”

“Bye, Kevin.” Bryan said as he took his book from his now chuckling friend and stuffed the book into his backpack and headed towards the door.

“Come on, Bryan. You’re not gonna tell me that you’re saving yourself up for marriage, right?” His friend mocked. Bryan rolled his eyes and looked over at him. It wasn’t worth saying anything right now. No, he’d much rather just leave it at that and just get to class before he’d be la—
Bryan felt as something hard shoved against him. His eyes shifted over to the young redhead. He reached out in order to help her keep balance. His eyes now focusing on her face. Wasn’t she the girl from his class room? Or at least one of the classes… The beautiful girl that the guys wanted. But did her soul match her beauty? How the girls were in this campus, he doubted it. But then again, who was he to judge? “It’s fine, really.” He smiled politely. He reached down and picked up his backpack from the floor. “I mean, it’s only material things. Nothing too bad.” He took a step back from her and closed the door behind him. “Aren’t you in my psychology class?”]

[font "times new roman" [b "Lyella darling. Please come in here, your father and I need to speak to you"] came the sound of the red headed woman's mother. She cringed a bit, wishing she was anywhere but here right then. She sighed lightly as she placed her book down onto the table, and pushed herself up. She then made her way into the kitchen. She spotted both of her parents there, her father wouldn't even look at her. That was strange. Her eyes moved to her mother, and she crossed her arms over her chest. [#DB7093 "What is it mother?"] she asked her, venom lacing her voice.]

[font "times new roman" The older woman looked at her child, and sighed lightly. [b "Your father and I have been doing a lot of talking, and we both think it's time you moved out. Went to college, and lived without money for awhile. You need to see what the world has to offer, and you won't be doing that while living here, and having everything handed to you on a silver platter"] her mother said. The words didn't really click in the woman's head right away, and she looked to her father for help. The only person who caved into her. She then looked back at her mother.]

[font "times new roman" [#DB7093 "Are you fucking kidding me? You are cutting me off?! For what?! I haven't done anything wrong! I've been doing [i everything] you've asked of me!"] she yelled. Her words hung in the air, and she looked between her parents as her mother spoke up once more. [b "That's the thing Lyella. You haven't don anything. You need to do something with yourself, make a name for yourself. You will only have three hundred dollars to your name. All of your debit, and credit cards are being locked right now"]]

[font "times new roman" [b "We are doing this because we love you. We want you to do something with your life, instead of having your father give into your every need. You need to make friends, see what the world has to offer. You might fall in love with the outside world anyway"] her mother said lightly. Lyella's heart was racing, and she was slowly losing her temper. [#DB7093 "You have got to be kidding me! You can't just cut me off like this, and expect me to understand!"] she sobbed out. She was living a nightmare, that's all it was. She would wake up soon.]

[font "times new roman" [b "I'm sorry Lyella, but you have to leave tonight. Otherwise we will have to call the cops, and I don't want to do that to you"] Lydia said. Lyella looked towards her father. Why wasn't he saying anything. [#DB7093 "Daddy? Is this for real?"] she asked, her voice cracking a little bit. [b [i "Yes sweetheart it is. You need to do something besides sitting around doing nothing, and making us look bad when you go out drinking. I'm sorry baby I really am"]] he said lightly. That seemed to sting even more than her mother's words. Tears stung her eyes.]

[font "times new roman" She didn't say anything more, as she turned on her heel and stormed out of the kitchen. She ran straight to her room. She had a couple of hours before her mother would call the cops on her. She didn't understand why they were doing this to her, but what other choice did she have? She packed up some suitcases, and went about throwing all of her pictures into the trash can in the room. She was pissed off, and had a right to be. She was being cut off and for no bloody reason either. She sighed lightly as she grabbed her bags, and wallet along with her cell phone.]

[font "times new roman" She stormed out of the room and down to the front of the house. Her mother was standing there with an envelope in her hand. [b "This is the three hundred dollars you have. Remember once it's gone, there's nothing more unless you get a job. I love you so much Lyella. Don't forget that"] her mother said. She tried to hug her daughter but Lyella shoved her aside. She grabbed the envelope, and stormed out of the house. She didn't even look back, because if she did, she would beg her mother to change her mind, and she wasn't about to do that. She was going to prove she could do this.]

[center [i [font "times new roman" [b [u ~*~ Three Months Later ~*~]]]]]

[font "times new roman" It's been three months since the woman had been forced to leave home. Her phone had been shut off a couple of days after she had left home, and she didn't have any way of getting into contact with her parents. In a way she was glad she didn't. They had done this to her, and she wasn't going to forgive them. She had driven all the way to New Hampshire from her home town in Shadow Valley. She sighed lightly as she looked at herself in the mirror. She had enrolled into the college campus, and had gotten a job pretty quickly.]

[font "times new roman" She was surprised she had gotten the job working in a small family owned shop. She loved it though. She was able to get the hours she wanted, the pay was pretty good, and they worked with her classes as well. That's one thing she had been worried about. When she had saved up enough money, she had thrown out all of her old clothes and bought new ones. She was trying to make it known that she wasn't rich. In a way she wasn't. She had been cut off after all.]

[font "times new roman" She shook her head lightly, as she finished getting ready for classes. Today she wasn't working, because she had four classes to attend. Three of them she adored, because she was learning how to use her fashion sense, and her decoration skills as well. She was loving her life. Three months ago she had been sitting at home doing nothing, and now here she was making a name for herself like her mother had said. She rolled her eyes, as her new phone buzzed on the table beside her. She looked at the name and number and sighed.]

[font "times new roman" [b [i Is there anyway after classes you can come in today? Storm ended up calling in, I can handle the shop until you get here. If you can't that's fine. Just know there will be overtime pay for you as well. Have a wonderful day.]] That's all the message held. She would reply later. She didn't know if she wanted to go in or not. She then realized she was going to be late. She grabbed her things, along with her book bag and ran out of the small house she rented from the people she worked for.]

[font "times new roman" She slid into the beat up car she traded in, and started it up. She then pulled out of the driveway and drove the fifteen minutes to campus. The only place she could keep herself closed off from everyone around her. She pulled into the parking lot, parked her car, shut it off, climbed out and grabbed her bag. She slammed the door behind her closed, and locked it. She then started jogging towards her first class. As she rounded the corner she ran right smack into a male. She dropped her things, and let out a small sigh. Great way to start her day.]

[font "times new roman" She bent down, picked up her things and then looked up at the male. Her breath caught when she looked into his eyes. Eyes she wouldn't mind getting to know. [#DB7093 "I'm so sorry about that.. I'm running late.. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going"] she breathed out. She finished picking up her things, and then stood, shoving her phone into her pocket, making sure nothing was broken. She wasn't about to walk away either, just in case she had caused some sort of damage to the handsome stranger before her.]
