She smiled. "so am I, but father always was against us keeping pets. He said we already had enough responsibilities." she said and looked down at Storm, seeing her eyes closed, and a small hint of a smile on her face. She looked back up at Kairi, and realized they were suppose to be home. "We were just heading home. You're welcome to join us if you'd like." she said with an inviting smile. She like Kairi. She was her only friend in hundreds of years, and she kind of like talking to her.
Kairi smiled and looked closely at storm. "Haha, your right!" she said and began tickling the bear cub happily. She then looked over to Garnet. "Animals will never like you will they brother." she told him then began tickling Storm again. Garnet sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, I don't think animals will ever like me. he responded then shuddered at a memory of their childhood. "I've always loved animals, we have heaps at home." she told Raka.
She smiled at raka and gave a silent laughter. " She's a bear cub. Not a dog." she said and started laughing when Storm was being nice. She looked at Garnet, and laughed. "you were the only person Beside me, that Storm actually likes." she smiled
Kairi smiled at the sight of storm. what a cute dog! she exclaimed. She then began to tickle storm on her belly. Garnet looked at kairi and storm. that bear annoys me he thought to himself.
She smiled a bit, and looked at kairi, feelling something bumb into her leg. She looked down, and remembered storm. "Oh, Kairi. I forgot to mention. Kairi, this Storm." she said picking up storm in her arms and stepping a bit closer to Kairi. Storm was quiet, and wasn't growl anymore.
Kairi smiled not taking offense to her snooping. Our flight home isn't until tomorrow midday so I thought I'd explore the town for a while. she answered her. Garnet sighed. "Then I suppose you found us and decided to follow right?" he finished her sentence for her. "Yup" she agreed.
"Ok, but what were you doing in town? Last we saw, you were with your parents." She said and looked down a bit, and feeling a bit guilty for snooping, but she was really curious.
Kairi moved towards them gracefully and somehow a kiddy fashion as well. "I have not been spying, just saw you two in town and wondered what you were doing?" she replied innocently.
"hi Kairi. What are you doing here?" she said putting on a smile, that was half happy, and the other not so much. She wondered if she had been spying long enough to hear about Damon, and her heart got a bit faster at the chance that he might have.
The female walked towards them and when her face was visible Garnet instantly face palmed himself. "Should of known it would be you Kairi...." he told her. "How long have you been spying on us?" he asked a little annoyed. Kairi rubbed her arm which was a little scratched from the fall. Well, a hello would have been nice." he told him a little annoyed at his attitude. She then turned to Raka and smiled. Hey there Raka! she said in her usually happy tone always glad to see her.
She looked towards the tree, and heard storm growling and stepped a bit to the front. She stepped out also, a bit relieved that it wasn't Damon. She looked at the tree and then saw s female silhouette. She loosened up a bit. "who are you?" she questioned.
Garnet remembered the night that he proposed to Raka. "I think it would be a safe place to temporarily be at least. Until we deal with Damon." he answered her. Garnet then turned swiftly as he heard a large thump by a tree. "COME OUT!" he yelled towards the dark tree. "Oww" a girl's voice complained. Garnet was a little surprised. That does not sound like Damon." he said to himself.
She smiled, unable to see Garnet doing anything illegal. She held onto his hand and saw he was a bit uneasy, but categorizes it as being a bit overprotective, and shrugged it off. She looked around as they walked to her place and a question came to mind. "are we going to be living with your parents?" she asked him.
Garnet nodded. "Same, however I've accessed my family's account in a not so legal fashion" he told her and winked. He held her hand again and Storm gave him a glare of disapproval. From the town they began to walk towards their home. Garnet still felt like he was being watched.
"yeah. I still use the family bank account for money. I have a credit card I put all my air fare on." she smiled. And looked around, seeing the pet store open hours. She would come back later in the evening.
