Garnet looked at her as she explained how she was against their choice of meal for the night but as Garnet was about to complain he stopped. He gently caressed her face and gently lifted her head so their eyes met. "Alright then love, we'll go for some animals then." he agreed with her and kissed her forehead loving her and the amazing warmth it brought being with her.
She stopped and stopped him with her. She wasn't sure they should human hunt, especially with what the aura did last time. She looked at him and walked up to him, and looked in his eyes. They were the regular dark brown color, and she wanted them to stay that color. She shook her head. "No. No humans tonight. Not with what happened last time. I'm not letting you go into that again." She said, and then realized he would complain, and bring up damon, and fighting for her. She looked down, so she was looking at their shoes.
Garnet smiled at her. He took off his jacket and shirt so he was only wearing an undershirt. He then took off his pants which were shorts under them. He then place the formal clothes on the ground next to him. "Lets go." he told her as they left their home swiftly and headed towards the town. "Let's get something human tonight." he told her feeling a little weak now. Garnet hadn't fed in a while and had used quite a lot of energy since then.
She smiled. "ok, I'll be quick." she gave him a kiss and walked up the stairs and to her room, not wanting to trip over the dress. She took off the dress and changed into her skinny jeans, and black spaghetti strap top. She fixed her hair into a ponytail. She put her phone in her pocket, and ran out and sat next to Garnet. "much much better." she smiled and looked at him. "are you gonna hunt in those, or are we making a stop at your place?" she smiled looking at him.
Garnet sighed and drove into the Raka's driveway and turned off the engine. He sighed and put the keys into his pocket. "I guess I do need to feed soon." he whispered to her. He stepped out of the car and in an instant was a Raka's door opening it. He held her hand and helped her out of the car. "Let's go inside and get changed." he told her smiling but looking quite pale. He helped her inside to the house to her room. "I'll let you get changed." he told her and sat on a stair.
She looked out his window again, but didn't see anyone. "there's no one there." she said and looked back at him. "I think you were seeing things. You look tired." she said and felt his cheek and forehead, in case he just needed some blood. He looked fine, but he felt frozen, which meant he was a bit low on blood. "I would suggest for me to drive, but it's imposible." she said going back to her regular position."when I change, we are going hunting." she said seriously, and looked at him, remembering that they should book the flight to Australia as soon as possible.
Garnet looked to her. "Don't worry about it..." he began to say but stopped in his tracks as he remembered that he promised Raka they would stand together on things. "...I just saw Damon, I don't think he will attack." he finished.
She looked around the ridges of her dress looking at the road and then at Garnet. She saw he was tensed up and wondered what he was thinking about. "What's wrong? What are you thinking about?" She said and looked at the forest, but didn't see anything. She looked back at him, putting her hand on his arm, but not putting a lot of pressure so he could still drive.
Garnet smiled. "Alrighty then, no more dresses after your wedding dress." he proclaimed. He then gazed out of the window and saw Damon standing in the woodside and looked into his eyes. Crap. He won't attack, 3 against 1 would be stupid and senseless. he thought to himself and turn to look at Raka but only saw her dress. Damon won't attack, she won't need to know. I don't ant to worry her. he continued to think.
"Thank you. Sorry, i just, really hate dresses. The only dress i will like, will be my wedding dress. One i will actually be able to walk to you with." She smiled thinking about their wedding day, and how she couldn't wait for it. She looked at him, and then tried looking over her dress again. She thought about how in a week she would be living a totally different life. She wouldn't be independent and free anymore. She started feeling a bit sad, that she would be leaving the life she loved.
Garnet smiled. "Calm down, it's be ok." he told her as the car moved forward as they starting driving. "We'll be home soon and you can get changed." he reassured her.
She punched him, which looked more like something coming out of a cloud, then a punch and she groaned. "Just. Drive." She said through gritted teeth. then paused, and then attacked the dresses poofs trying to keep them down. She failed miserably and banged her head on the window, hoping she didn't crack it.
Garnet sat beside her but couldn't see her in the dress. He laughed a little. "You really need a change of clothes." he said with a hint of laughter in his voice as he tried to restrain it.
She smiled, "I call shotgun." she said as the car came up to them. She got down out of his arms and shuffled however she could to the passengers seat and stuffed her dress inside. "it's like a cushion! I can't see a thing!" she said when Garnet got in the car. She couldn't see over her dress puffs.
He kissed her back and picked her up. "I'll take you to the car." he told her in a near whisper. He walked with Raka from there to the door where a guard was stationed. "Can you get a car ready for us?" he asked the guard. "Yes sir, we will get the car ready." he responded and bowed before leaving out the doors. Garnet followed him out the door and waited with Raka still in his arms as the car drove up to them.
