You don't have permission to post in this thread.
Aidan had to admit it was somewhat nice to have another body there with him, warm and comforting. It made for a better night's sleep and he frowned a little as morning light seeped through a crack in one of the flimsy curtains. He looked to the woman tucked beside him and reached out to brush some of her blonde hair from her face. He eased himself up, trying not to jostle her as he fixed the blanket over her. There were rooms in the cabin but it would have been too forwards to ask her to share a bed, somehow.
Aidan checked the map he had, albeit worse for wear and sighed out a bit. The town wasn't far off but he didn't know how dangerous the street would be and if it had been overrun or not. He didn't have bullets to waste on walkers right then and it seemed unlikely he would just come across some. Still, it wasn't just him he had to fend for anymore, he had an odd sense of protection over the woman who had run into him last night.
Aidan figured black coffee was in order as he rustled around in his back and inspected one of the instant packets of coffee. He wouldn't survive much longer on the rations he had left over but he figured if they were going to a built up area then he could do some looting to see what he could carry with him. He headed out into the front area of the cabin and was relieved at how quiet it was out here, restocking the fire as it surged back to life and he set some water in a bashed up pan to boil, brewing the coffee which he supposed would be less than tasty.
Katya was still wary of the man, giving into primal urge was one thing but trusting another was like finding the Holy Grail in these times. By the time morning rushed around, she was up and dressed, packing a rucksack with some essentials. Bottled water, a handgun she had aqquired along the way and some tinned food. It wasn't a lot but it would get them by. Hiding out in a mall had some perks. She slung the rucksack over her shoulder and eyed Samson. She could leave him here, no doubt a little faster on her feet than him but she figured that would be harsh.
She nudged him with her foot,
"Let's go." She said to him, gesturing she had packed some in her bag.
"Take whatever you need, we won't be coming back."
"There's a cabin, in the woods. It won't take us long to get there, if you can keep up." She said to him because she didn't want to make this easy for him. Just because they had fucked, didn't mean that she was easy or up for grabs, although he was alluring and there was something about him. Katya had always liked strong men, she loved the power struggle and usually she would have teased him a while but this was the end of the world and there wasn't any time for that.
Katya gestured for him to follow to one of the fire exits, it was a lot quieter than anywhere else and she eyed the Mall.
"Just get ready to move for the treeline, pretty boy." She commented. She pulled the fire alarm and flinched as it blew into action and walkers slowly began to limp towards the entrances. It opened a clear enough path for them and meant that most walkers in the area would be drawn to the alarm, until it ran out of battery at least. She set off towards the treeline and thankfully most walkers seemed to confused and entranced by the noise to notice her and she adjusted her boot, a keen set of eyes would have noticed the switchblade strapped to her calf, a last resort.
"Should be up ahead somewhere." She remarked as she saw the clearing open. She did not expect to see a campfire and she immediately drew her gun, eyeing the man by the campfire.
[font "times new roman" Just feeling another solid body beside her, seemed to help her relax a bit more. It's been awhile since she had this feeling. It felt just like yesterday that she had been next to her ex boyfriend. The one male she had let into her life, and he had made her feel safe, loved, and wanted. When she had found out that he had cheated, was when she had lost it. She didn't want anything to do with him. She didn't want him around her, and she sure as hell didn't want anyone that toxic in her life ever again. That had been when he sworn off men for good.]
[font "times new roman" That was until now. Maybe not all men were the same. Maybe this one was different. She felt the male shift a bit, and she held her breath. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable, but had a feeling she hadn't. When she heard his breath move to normal sleep, she felt a bit better. This whole nightmare was really eating at her. She had heard his promise about not letting that horrible monster near her, but she knew it wouldn't happen. If that so called monster was with someone, that other person wouldn't go down with a fight.]
[font "times new roman" She let out a small sigh. Curled up a bit more against him, trying to let sleep wash over her. It was kind of hard, but at the same time she did feel safe. Morning would come soon enough, and she was still somewhat awake. She just laid there listening to the males breathing, and heartbeat. Pretty soon it was like some sort of lullaby, and she finally fell asleep. Safe, content, and most of all not having to worry about anything for at least a little while.]

[font "times new roman" As the male let her have her pleasure, he nodded a bit. So he did have a companion now. A pretty one at that, along with a good fuck too. Maybe he could keep her around, get in a good fuck here and there, while they were trying to figure this whole thing out. It wouldn't be that bad. It's been awhile since he's dealt with this kind of thing. He did hope he would come across Danielle as well. He wanted to make sure she was okay, and still alive. The last time they had been together, he did kind of do a horrible thing to her, and wanted to make up for it, but didn't know how.]
[font "times new roman" He wondered how she would feel if she ever came across him again. Just thinking about that made him smirk a bit. He felt the woman lay beside him, and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. They were still both naked, and he knew it would be better that way in the morning. He was a human after all, and he needed to be pleased as much as a woman. He laid there for awhile listening to the woman's breathing. What had he gotten himself into? He was already getting attached, and he didn't know how long she would stick around.]
[font "times new roman" Another thought crossed his mind just then. What if she found out about what he did to Danielle? Would she still stick around? Or would she be like every other woman and leave? He wasn't about to let this one slip away. Yeah they might just be fuck buddies, and nothing more, but hell he wasn't about to let her get away that quickly. Pretty soon his eyes drifted closed, and he was asleep in moments, content, satisfied, and most of all warm. Morning would come soon enough, then they would start planning something out.]
Aidan watched the woman, listening to her tell her horror story. What sort of sick freak raped a woman while the world was turning to shit like this? Aidan had to admit he didn’t want to run into the Male she had told him about either. She was warm at his side and he sighed out softly when she kissed his cheek. She was sweet and kind, such a stark contrast from the blood and death that had become their world.
[b “I won’t let him near you.”] He promised. If that Male did turn up then Aidan would make sure he killed the man himself. It was bad enough to rape anyone but to rape them mid-apocalypse? That was sick.
He wrapped an arm around the woman as she nestled into him, enjoying her comfort and warmth. He wanted her to feel safe, secure. He rested his chin on her head and stroked her arm beneath the blanket, content to just relax for a while. They were safe here, at least for now and he figured a couple days spent resting up wouldn’t be an awful idea, then they could work out some sort of plan.
Aidan shifted after a while, getting comfortable as he kept the woman at his side, tucked in his arms as he put his feet up on the worn out coffee table. They would figure everything out, maybe in the morning. Aidan wanted to stay awake, to keep watch but he figured everything was locked down and he was exhausted. He let his eyes skip closed as he just bathed in the warmth of the woman at his side and the blanket.
Katya watched the man above her, reading his expressions. A journal? She quirked an eyebrow at him but figured it beat waiting for death in this place. This place wouldn’t keep our the dead forever and she was bound to be discovered by a group sooner or later and she was pretty sure that was more dangerous. This was a simple fuck, right? No strings, no attachment. Katya couldn’t get attached in this climate, it would end in disaster one way or another.
[b “I’m serious about coming with you.”] Katya said to him and smirked a little, watching his reaction and she rolled her eyes, letting a sly laugh escape her lips as she flipped him onto his back, straddling his waist as she watched him. She figured she had the upper hand, all she had to do was get naked and he was at her fingertips so he wasn’t a danger to her.
[b “We can leave in the morning. Stop off, I know a place not far from here in the woodland.”] She practically pitted as she took him again, hands exploring his body as her breath escaped in heavy ritualistic gasps. He was incredible and soon enough, she was sated.
Katya slipped to Samson’s side, body slick with sweat as she trailed lazy kisses down his neck and pulled a couple of blankets over her form. She figured he would stay, if he didn’t then so be it. She buried into his side, appreciating the warmth but never would she admit to cuddling into him after more adult ventures. This was crazy, she figured. Hair fell into her face, obscuring her features as her eyes grew heavy and the relief when she closed them was insurmountable. She was soon asleep, content and safe.
[font "times new roman" The female could understand why he wasn't as trusting. When he didn't insist on her taking the bedroom, she relaxed a bit more. It's been ages since she's felt someone close enough to touch. She wouldn't mind if things ended up going farther than they should have. She wasn't about to pressure that kind of thing though. When he asked where she had come from, she sighed lightly. [#D7ACAC "Honestly I was living in New York, but came out here for a little girls trip, and that's when the whole world went to shit pretty much. So since then I've been somewhat travelling alone"] she said with a small shrug.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "I'm surprised I'm even here honestly. When the outbreak started all four of us had been drunk off our asses. We were wanting to enjoy ourselves before we went back home, to college, planning a wedding, and just doing the every day tasks. I should have died with them.. I don't know why I survived.. All I remember was this strange male pulling me away from the hotel we were staying at. He was screaming at me telling me to move, and I did. I was still drunk though, and couldn't think straight"]]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "That stranger saved my life. That same night we were crashing in a different hotel, and he.. He forced himself on me, telling me that everything would be alright. He just needed to take care of a problem I caused. I can't believe I was raped in the middle of this fucked up world"] she said, a bitterness entering her voice talking about it. She shuddered lightly, as she pulled her legs to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs, resting her chin on her knees, and started talking once more.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "I felt like I knew the male from somewhere. I don't know how I know him, but something inside of me told me to run. So I did. I don't know if I killed him, I hope I did, but if I didn't, then I don't know what I'll do if I run into him again.. I guess in a way I'm glad I ran into you. I know it's a fucked up thing, but thank you. Seriously, I don't know what I would have done if you had turned me away"] she breathed out. She turned her head and looked at him with silent eyes. She couldn't believe she pretty much spilled her whole life story to this stranger.]
[font "times new roman" There was something there, something different about him. Something that made him feel comfortable, and she meant what she said. She shifted a bit, and pressed her lips to his cheek. [#D7ACAC "Again thank you"] she breathed out. She then shifted a bit more, and curled up against his side. She leaned her head between his shoulder and neck, letting herself get comfortable. It felt nice having another solid body beside her. She just hoped that he wouldn't turn out like the last male that saved her. If he did, she would be in a shit ton of trouble. Something told her that she wouldn't need to worry though, and she wasn't going to. For now, she needed sleep, and the comfort he brought her, made her relax a bit more.]

[right [pic https://i.imgur.com/ifEuUS7.jpg]]
[font "times new roman" A small smirk passed over the male's lips as she asked her questions. Yes he had gotten what he wanted, and in all honesty he wanted her again. It could have been the blind lust for feeling a woman around him, pleasing him, but he knew there was something more. Something special about this woman. He wanted to know her, wanted to see how her mind worked, what made her tick. He didn't care if this was the end of the world or not. For all he knew it was. He pulled the naked woman against him a bit, feeling her hands on his skin.]
[font "times new roman" What was he doing after this? At first he didn't remember then it slowly dawned on him. [#0075D0 "Well I'm searching for two things. One of them happens to be my step sister, and the second is for a journal that my aunt kept from when the outbreak had first happened. Inside that journal was a way to make it all stop, or at least learn how to survive better. As of right now though, there's this amazingly sexy, naked woman laying here, that I'm about to take again"] he breathed out. He was waiting though.]
[font "times new roman" He wouldn't mind the company, as long as he would get her naked every time they stopped, then he would gladly take her with him. [#0075D0 "Don't get a guy's hopes up. Because if you are serious about coming with me, then say it."] he breathed out. His breath caught in his throat as he felt her hands on his body. A slow smirk passed over his lips, as he laid there waiting to see what those amazing hands would do, and where she would put those kissable lips of her's. Fuck he was already getting attached, and that wasn't a good thing. For now though, he just went with the whole thing.]
Aidan watched her, carefully. She was certainly unique, he knew that much. She trusted him and that was a big thing for these times, but he also knew that if he was a different kind of man, it would be dangerous. He heard her words very clearly but he still thought she was insane to be so trusting. Then again, it wasn't like he was about to murder in cold blood for the sake of it. He wasn't that type of man. He sighed as she sat next to him and got under the blanket. It had been quiet here save for the odd walker passing by and he usually dealt with them fairly adequately.
[b "Alright."] She made a good point, splitting up would mean more issues to contend with if something did happen.
[b "Nothing happened, just the dead suddenly rising up. I've seen groups of people who are worse than that though. Literally insane, I saw a guy kill a girl over a bottle of water a few weeks ago."] He said to her with a shrug as he relaxed a little. He hadn't slept properly in a long time, always jumping up at the first snap of a twig or small noise.
[b "Where'd you come from?"] He asked her, remembering she had said her name was Danielle. She seemed sweet, too sweet for this sort of world and he had to confess it was a real surprise she had survived this long. He supposed she had more to her than looks, and they were good looks. He rubbed at his eyes and he figured his social skills were a little out of whack given they hadn't been used in so long. It seemed like weeks since he had even had a proper conversation with someone, let alone get under the blankets. A companion? What kind of companion? Aidan knew more than one person travelling was safer but he also knew groups could bring attention and tension.
The close proximity with another being felt nice, it felt right in a way but he didn't want to chase the woman off, no matter how charming she was. He had been quite the ladies man when the world was normal, being in the military had its perks for sure and he smiled a bit at the thought.
The world didn't matter, nothing really mattered right then except Samson as he claimed her, took her for his own in his own incredible way. It was hardly romantic, locked in a windowless staff room with bottles of water and cans of food scattered around on the layer of blankets and pillows. But it didn't matter, Katya didn't care. She shuddered beneath him, legs shaking and her breath hitching as they collided in a finish and she gripped onto him, not wanting him to part from her.
He didn't for long and soon he was back, hovering above her, trailing his kisses and forgetting about the dead clawing at the doors of the mall, snarling. She sighed out and reached up, tenderly running a finger of his jawline.
[b "Got what you wanted, then?"] She asked him. She was no whore, nor was she 'easy'. She knew she was attractive, everyone had always told her that. She couldn't slip away from him, she didn't want to. But she also didn't want him to think that he could just lay claims to her. Apocalypse or not.
[b "Where are you heading after this?"] She asked him, eyes meeting his. He was enchanting and he had really made her feel things she hadn't felt in a long time.
[b "Maybe I'll come with you."] She commented. It seemed stupid that they had only lay together once and yet there was this pull to him, something that made her want to stick around with him. Maybe it was the fact he was a really good fuck, maybe it was something else, something deeper. Katya didn't want to see him leave however. She ran her hands down his body, slowly. If he told her no, then she would convince him otherwise.
[font "times new roman" The woman was grateful that he was willing the let her stay. When he nudged the can towards her she shook her head. [#D7ACAC "No thank you, I'm not that hungry"] she said lightly. It was true too. Even though she hadn't eaten anything for the last couple of days, she wasn't hungry. She was surprised that she still had the energy she held right then. She wasn't that weak, and she thanked her lucky stars for that. As the male spoke, a small shudder ran down her spine. She didn't really understand why he was being nice to her, but she wasn't about to back away from it. It took a lot to trust the living.]
[font "times new roman" She sighed lightly as he seemed to forget about the fire, and she stood and put it out with the dirt nearby. She didn't want anyone seeing the light, living or dead. She then followed him to the cabin, and walked in behind him. She watched his movements, and couldn't help but wonder what it was that made him not want to fully trust her. She couldn't blame him though, hell she didn't always trust herself. How can you in a world like this? She sighed lightly as he handed her a couple blankets.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "Body heat is better to have, instead of blankets. That, and I would feel safer knowing that you were close by. I know that sounds weird, but we shouldn't split up, just in case something does happen"] she said lightly. He was nice to look at, and in a way she was trying to make an excuse as to why she wanted to be around him. She held onto the blankets, and looked down at the ground. She then moved over to the couch, and sat down beside the male, and took a breath before speaking once more.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "I don't know if something made you not trust the living, but I'm not like all those other assholes out there. If I wanted to steal from you, I would have come in with my knife out, and tried to kill you. What do I have to do to prove to you, that I'm just looking for a companion to survive with in this fucked up world?"] she asked softly. The words falling from her lips were nothing but the truth. She put the blankets into her lap, letting her words hang in the air, as she waited for the male to speak.]

[font "times new roman" It's been ages since the male had been with a woman, and the feeling of her shedding his clothes made matters that much better. He didn't want this to end. When she shifted onto his lap, his hands moved to her ass to keep her where she was. His hips moving with her's. He leaned his head back, eyes closing as her hips moved against him. As soon as the words [b [i take me]] left her lips, he acted upon it. He didn't care at that moment, all he knew was he needed her. To feel her, and most of all to please her.]
[font "times new roman" She wasn't going to be the one calling the shots. He wasn't about to let her do that. When he wanted something, he would do anything, and everything to take it. He didn't know what was pushing him to do so. Something inside of him snapped, and he didn't know what. He flipped her onto her back, he was a lot stronger than she was, and pretty soon he was on top of her, taking her in ways a man should claim his woman. He knew she wasn't his, but fuck that need was there, and it was strong. It took him awhile to finally finish, and he didn't care if he was still inside or not.]
[font "times new roman" He de-tangled himself from the woman, his breathing heavy and he smirked a bit. He looked down at the naked woman, and knew right then and there he wanted more of her. He then moved himself back over the top of her, resting his arms on either side of her head. He looked down into her eyes, and watched her a moment. There was something about this woman, something special, and he wasn't ready to leave yet. [#0075D0 "That was amazing"] he breathed out. He meant it too.]
[font "times new roman" He hadn't had a good lay in a while, and it felt good being skin to skin with another human being. He kept his body over her's, so she couldn't get out from under him, unless she told him to move. He wouldn't move. He leaned down, trailing kisses along her neck, and jaw line. [#0075D0 "You are so beautiful"] he breathed against her skin, forgetting for the time being, that the world was so fucked up outside.]
Aidan looked to the girl and was quiet as she spoke. He figured three weeks was a long time and she hadn’t used her voice in a while, if she was smart. He let her ramble and glanced to her when she posed the question. He thought for a while and poked at the fire, nudging over some of the tinned baked beans to her so she could eat.
[b “I’ve been alone since the start.”] Aidan remarked, [b “More or less, anyway, save the odd person who comes by.”] Aidan said with a small shrug.
[b “My squadron got wiped out. My family not long after the first outbreak.”] He was guarded about how much detail he went into. He raised an eyebrow when she asked why he hadn’t turned him away.
[b “I’m no threat to anyone. I don’t help groups, they tend to steal. Wouldn’t be any different from the dead if I killed you or turned you away.”] He pointed out and glanced to the cabin. She was cute, withdrawn though.
[b “C’mon. It’s getting dark.”] He said and got up, eyeing the inside of the cabin.
[b “Use the spare room. You uh… you can use whatever you like, lock the doors, I don’t mind. You hurt or anything?”] Aidan asked and eyed her over. She seemed okay, just frightened and he was wary to keep his distance. He watched her for a few moments and guided her inside. He strode over time the tattered couch and handed her a couple of worn looking blankets.
[b “I can’t do much about the cold.”] He said to her with a feeble shrug before looking to the couch.
[b “I’ll keep watch tonight.”] she said and set his rucksack down, sitting on the couch and glancing out the window.
Katya eyed the man, there was something intriguing and frightening about him. Something that made her heart beat faster as she kept a wary look over him. His silence was unsettling somehow and she looked him over, watching his hands crawl up her thighs and she raised an eyebrow, about to protest but his lips brushed hers and she was quietened immediately. How long had it been since she was touched?
Katya narrowed her eyes at his comment about wanting her and she wasn’t sure what harm it would do. They could fuck and move on, stranger things had happened, had they not? She felt his lips, deeper this time, more desperate and she wrapped her arms around him. Hands clamoured to remove his shirt, this was not romance, this was about pent up needs from what seemed like an eternity of being alone.
His pants were next, Katya wasting no time because she wanted him. She didn’t care who he was, where he had been. She wanted skin on skin, she wanted to feel a connection with a living body. Katya shifted she she was in his lap, rocking herself to a rhythm of primal instinct as she peppered kisses along his neck, each breath deeper than the last, each groan more needy than the one before as her fingernails dig into his skin. Her own clothes were shed in the process, skin littered with little cuts and bruises from her time alone, she was thin but wiry muscles etched out a good physique. He would leave later, and she wasn’t sure she would have an opportunity like this for a long time.
[+red “Then take me.”] She finally breathed in his ear, her heart hammering as she came close to the final act.
[font "times new roman" Aidan was his name. She had to admit he was good to look at it, and if things hadn't been falling apart like they were, she would have gone after him in a way that all women would have. She shook her head lightly at the food. She wasn't that hungry to be honest. [#D7ACAC "I've been alone for the last three weeks. The rest of my group was over run, and honestly I haven't wanted to meet up with anyone else. I don't trust easily, but right now I'm needing a safe place to crash, and this is the only place I came across"] she said lightly.]
[font "times new roman" She was kind of surprised that he was willing to let her stay. When he mentioned that he was about to leave in the morning, and that she had come around at the perfect time, she nodded lightly. She lowered herself onto the ground beside the fire. Her eyes moved to the flames, and wondered what it would feel like to burn. Would it be like living in hell? Or would it be over and done with in a split second? Those were the kind of thoughts that sometimes scared her. Why would she even think something like that? She sighed lightly, pulling her legs to her chest.]
[font "times new roman" She rested her chin on her knees before looking towards the male. [#D7ACAC "How long have you been alone? Why are you being nice to me anyway? It's not like you know me, you could have turned me away. I'm glad you didn't, but you still could have"] she breathed out. She meant it too. She was glad he hadn't turned her away, because then she would be in a nightmare, having to deal with this alone. She sighed lightly, as she looked back at the flames, her arms around her legs, letting the silence wash over them.]

[font "times new roman" The male cocked his head lightly when she asked if he had a girlfriend. He shook his head lightly and let her go. [#0075D0 "No girlfriend. Step-Sister"] he said lightly. It wasn't any of her business anyway, but he still told her. He watched as she led him deeper into the mall, telling her to take what he wanted. She wanted to be alone, and yet he didn't want to leave her alone. He felt some kind of connection with her, and he wanted nothing more than to just take her right then and there. He watched as she moved her blankets out of the way, and sat down. He shook his head a bit, watching her silently. He then licked his lips and moved towards her.]
[font "times new roman" It's been months since he'd been with a woman. Seeing this woman made that itch come back. He closed the gap between them, and ran his hands slowly up her thighs. He wasn't about to say anything. He was stronger than the female, and he gripped her legs, and pulled her towards him. He locked his eyes on her's, bit his lower lip, as he leaned forward his lips brushing her's. The kiss was soft and gentle at first. He then pulled away, and looked into her eyes. [#0075D0 "What I want is you"] he breathed out. He meant it too. Something inside of him seemed to snap.]
[font "times new roman" He hadn't wanted someone so much before. Yes she was a total stranger, but he wanted to feel the woman. He wanted nothing more than to feel her skin, her touch, everything. He then pressed his lips against her's once more, deepening the kiss a bit more. He hoped she wouldn't push him away. Sometimes strange things happened, and he wanted nothing more than to please this woman, and please himself at the same time. He wasn't about to take no for an answer either. He snaked his arms around her waist, pulled her towards him, never breaking the kiss.]
Aidan wasn’t going to shoot the girl, she looked terrified and vulnerable enough. Besides, if it was just her then she wasn’t going to do him any harm. She looked alike, he surmised. She looked like she had been through the mill that was for sure. He sighed out and just gave a curt nod to her. He didn’t have much, a ton of Luke warm beans with a spoon in it lay beside the fire. It was the best he could offer and if she wanted a night then so be it.
[b “Aidan.”] He said when she told him her name.
She was pretty, it wasn’t exactly attractive times. He would do anything for a proper shower. Most of the time he used rivers or some bottled water if he could spare it. He figured in these times it was dangerous to be a good person, it could earn you a bullet in the head as quickly as looking at you.
[b “Alright, look. Just promise not to kill me in my sleep.”] He glanced over Danielle.
[b “You can finish that.”] Aidan said as he gestured to the beans. It wasn’t exactly a culinary delight but it was substantial at least. He fed the fire some dry wood and glanced to the cabin. It had two rooms so he wouldn’t have to invade her personal space. He wouldn’t either way.
[b “How long have you been by yourself?”] He asked her and figured it must have been traumatising for her. To lose a whole group. And where was she heading?
[b “You’re lucky you came today…I was going to head off in the morning.”] He said as he took a drink of water from a plastic bottle. He was trying to find others, there was better safety in a group after all and things were just getting worse. As the living died, they created more dead. And it was dangerous to be out alone and Aidan didn’t exactly want to leave the girl by herself, it would be a death sentence.
Katya looked the man over and rolled her eyes a little.
[+red “No one else is here. I see people pass through, now and then. They don’t stay.”] She pointed out as she gestured to the shops.
[+red “Let me guess…. Girlfriend? A pretty little thing and you got separated?”] She quizzes away. Samson said he was looking for a girl, so she figured it must have been a girlfriend, maybe a sister. Still, it wasn’t her business and she honestly didn’t care. Everyone was searching for someone in this shit hole, she just knew to accept they were dead.
[+red “What do you need? Just take what you need and leave. I’m fine here, don’t need anything.”] Katya remarked as she gestured him to follow her. She lead him back to one of the stock rooms. It wasn’t exactly big and she eyed him over. She had done a good job of stashing water, cans of food and blankets.
[+red “One way in, one way out. Keeps the heat at night. Take what you need.”] She shrugged a little as she shifted her blankets out the way.
[+red “You can stay the night if you want.”] Katya remarked. He didn’t seem like bad company and she was pretty sure she could take him in a fight. Or at least she hoped so. She leant on the wall and folded her arms, watching him. She figured with a shower, some fresh clothes, he’d definitely be her type. He seemed rough, rugged almost.
[font "times new roman" The female came to a stop when she heard a man's voice and then she saw the gun pointed at her. [#D7ACAC "Please don't shoot.. I'm alone I promise.. I've been along for weeks now. My group was over run, and I managed to escape. I've been living in an abandoned warehouse, until just barely. I had come from the city, and there's walker's heading this way. I don't know how far off they are, or if there are any here"] she breathed out. She watched as he lowered the gun, and then it wasn't in his hands anymore. She started to relax a little bit. Then he spoke his name, and her heart thundered inside of her chest.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "My name is Danielle.."] she said softly. She looked over her shoulder, as if expecting something, or someone to come out from behind a tree and attack her. She then turned to the male, her eyes locking on his. He looked to be well off, and that kind of messed with her head. As far as she knew, the male could have someone inside pointing a gun at her, and if she moved wrong her head would be blown off. She couldn't think about that right now. She needed help, and she needed a place to rest, at least for the night.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "Listen, the only weapon I have is my knife, which is in my boot right now, I'm not going to try and kill you, I just need a place to rest for the night. I promise I will be out of your hair in the morning"] she breathed out. She wouldn't mind if the male tagged along with her. Hell she would love the company, but she wasn't about to tell him that. She just wanted a nice, safe place to rest. If she had to trade some of her things, she would. As long as he agreed to letting her stay for the one night. She was debating on leaving, but she didn't know if she could make it much longer.]
[font "times new roman" [#D7ACAC "Please.. I don't have much, I will trade you anything, if I can just stay the night.."] she was nearly begging at this time. She wanted nothing more than to get her boots off her feet, curl up, and just sleep. She stood there, with her hands out in front of her, showing that she wasn't going to attack him. She was surprised he hadn't taken advantage of her. Anywhere else, someone else would. She did feel some type of connection to this man, and yet she was still scared out of her mind. She stood there, waiting to see if she would get turned away or not.]

[font "times new roman" The male was slightly taken back when she called him pretty boy, and told him to take what he wanted. He was distracted, and then she was out of his grasp. He wasn't about to kill another living person. That would make him a monster anyway. He smirked a bit as he looked her up and down. She did look nice in those jeans, and he had to admit, he was attracted to her in an instant. Who wouldn't be? There weren't that many living people anymore, so you took what you could get. He sighed lightly putting the knife away, he was being too trusting right now.]
[font "times new roman" Something he knew that could get him killed if he wasn't careful. He didn't care though at the moment. [#0075D0 "Names Samson, pleasure to meet you"] he said lightly. He looked her up and down, and wondered what she looked like without all those clothes on, and how she would taste on his tongue. He shook his head, to clear it of those impure thoughts. He couldn't be thinking like this, not at a time like this anyway. He looked around, and realized they were the only two living inside. He then turned to the woman, and cocked his head to the side.]
[font "times new roman" [#0075D0 "Are there more of you? Or are you alone? Plus I'm kinda looking for someone, and was curious if you had seen her by chance"] he said lightly. He knew it was a long shot, but a guy had to try right? He sighed lightly, as he shoved his hands into his pockets looking down at the ground under his feet. The Mall of America was in terrible condition right now, that he didn't know what to really think about it. All of the places around looked the same. If he didn't know better, people were hiding out, trying to stay hidden. When in reality they were all dead, or getting eaten alive right now.]
[font "times new roman" [#0075D0 "Would you be willing to help me find a couple of things? I promise you I'm not gonna try and kill you, I just didn't know if you were really alive, or if you were a Walker. So I do apologize for attacking you like I did. Is there anyway I can make it up to you?"] he asked her. He would pretty much do anything at this point, as long as it meant he had a traveling companion. He stood there, waiting, listening to any signs of the walkers, or other's hiding out in the shops around them. It was deadly quiet, and it set his nerves on edge. He hated how quiet it was right now, but what could ya do? He looked her up and down, and licked his lips lightly.]

The world had gone to shit. Everyone knew that. Aidan knew this better than anyone. He’d been in the military, dispatched in the city to deal with the first wave of the undead. It hadn’t worked, they had been outnumbered and most of his squadron had lost their lives. Aidan had been smart and when all was lost, he had shifted to the forests, away from the thickest amount of walkers. He had shed his uniform in favour of a T-shirt and jeans but his rucksack was a clue he had once been in the military. He adjusted the straps as he huddled round the campfire, warming his hands. It was small, with a log cabin behind him. He had made it home, for now. He was never bothered by anyone, most of the time wondering if he was the only survivor in this area.
Aidan glanced up when he heard footsteps, they were quicker than a walkers and he grabbed his gun, standing and pointing it in the general direction, watching a pretty blond woman emerge and he raised an eyebrow at her. He wasn’t expecting that but he didn’t lower his gun. People travelled in groups and groups were dangerous. He was alone and had some food, people would kill him for that.
[+green “Are you alone?”] He couldn’t see or hear anyone else and he very slowly lowered the gun.
The girl must have been tough if she had survived this long on her own. He set the gun down and raised his hands to show he was unarmed. The sun was warm as it rose through the trees and Aidan looked her over. He put out the fire and figured he would be a shitty person to shoot her or let her go on alone. But people were strange these days, they didn’t trust anyone and he figured he couldn’t blame her if she left.
[+green “Aidan.”] He introduced himself and he wondered where she was heading. He’d heard rumours of survivors in Meadow Creek and half of him had wanted to go and look, it wasn’t far from here but he had a decent set up here.
[+green “Where’re you going in such a hurry?”] He asked her, keeping his distance so he didn’t chase her off or spook her. A lone female in the middle of the woods was easy pickings for sordid men and groups.

Katya had been fortunate enough to call the mall of America home for a few days. She was quiet on her feet and anytime people came around, she hid in a store or kept out of the way. She wasn’t the soft and sweet princess type either. She knew damn well if you were soft and sweet you didn’t survive long in this apocolypse. However, she hadn’t been paying attention, on the lookout for some food as she wandered the mall.
Her mother and father had been Russian, but she had been born in this country. She didn’t hear the man following her and she was caught off guard as she was thrown against the wall, hissing out as it stung and fingers closed around her throat. She took a moment to register this wasn’t a walker, it was a living man. She looked him over, heart thumping in her chest but doing her best to look calm on the surface.
She listened to his question and she could feel the knife at her throat. She wouldn’t beg for her life, so this idiot wanted to play alpha. She could play that too. She raised an eyebrow and sighed out, steadying her heartbeat.
[+red “It’s much easier to speak when you don’t point a knife at me. I’ve been here three days and I’ve seen survivors. They come and they go. So take what you need and go.”] She commented as she met his gaze, despite the fact she knew he could slash her throat and leave her, she was acting cool as ice. If he was going to kill her then she would rather she went with some pride.
[+red “Katya, by the way. Nice to meet you.”] She said with a small smirk. He was attractive, she wouldn’t deny that.
[+red “Don’t worry, I’m leaving. I heard good things about a place close to here.”] She said.
[+red “Aren’t you a pretty boy?”] She cooed and ducked out of his grasp at the distraction and adjusted her rucksack. She had a ripped shirt with a vest under it and shorts, with thick walking boots. Her blond hair was tied up messily but she supposed it was difficult to look good when the dead were eating the living.
[font "times new roman" Screams filled the dark streets, as Danielle stayed inside of the building she was in. She had heard the message about survivor's in Meadow Creek. The one place, she knew she would be able to find her family, if they weren't already dead. Her breathing was heavy, and her heart was racing. Ever since this whole thing started, she felt like she was living inside of a dream. Seeing the zombies roaming around, made her feel like everything had been true. She had heard about something like this happening, but never in a thousand years, did she think it would ever happen.]
[font "times new roman" She leaned her head lightly against the wooden door, as she stood there, her hand on the knob. She wanted to go out there, and help, but she knew if she did she would end up getting bitten again. The first time it had happened, was only a few days ago. She had been getting supplies to take with her, and she didn't even hear the thing coming up behind her, and that had been when she felt the teeth sinking into her flesh, and she had let out a scream of pain, and terror all at once.]
[font "times new roman" She had fumbled for her knife, and stabbed the zombie right in the eye, and heard the thump behind her. She sighed, as her fingers went to her shoulder, and ran over to bandage she had placed on her shoulder. She would need to change it again, before she even thought of leaving. She moved away from the door, and went deeper into the building. It was deathly quiet, and she didn't like it at all. Everything seemed to be deadly quiet, and she was just waiting for someone to jump out from behind a door, and yell surprise! If only, she thought.]
[font "times new roman" The blonde haired woman, found a bathroom, and she dropped her bag onto the floor, and she looked at herself in the mirror. She had been away at college, when the out break had started. She was sitting in class, when she heard the screams, and then one of her other teachers, had stumbled into the room looking dead, and growling. That was when she knew, her whole world was crashing down around her. She had made her first kill then, and that's when she was on the run. She had ran all the way home, and saw her family wasn't there.]
[font "times new roman" So many things had been running through her head, hoping with all of her mind, they wouldn't be dead. She still hasn't come across them, and something was telling her, they were dead after all. She shook her head lightly, as she drew her shirt up and over her head, and set it aside. She turned and looked over her shoulder, at the bandage covering her skin. She reached behind her, and pulled it off. She bit her lip lightly, as a hiss of pain escaped past her lips. She looked at the bite mark, and shook her head, it looked worse than it had.]
[font "times new roman" She found the ointment she had been using, and applied it to the bite. Thank god she was immune, because if she hadn't been she wouldn't be here right now. The sting made her wince, but she bit down on her lip, as she bandaged herself back up. She pulled her shirt back on, and she turned around, and leaned down, her hair falling over her face. She hated the feeling of being alone, and she hated the feeling, that she was the only person who was still alive. She was getting closer to Meadow Creek now.]
[font "times new roman" Tomorrow, if she left early enough, she would make it there, before night fall. She grabbed her bag, threw everything else way, and walked out of the bathroom, and back to the room she had been in. Her body was shaking from the cold, but she was tough. She found a place to sit, and she sat down, her back against the cold wall. She pulled her legs to her chest, and she rested her forehead on her knees. This was the first time in weeks, where she let the tears fall silently.]
[font "times new roman" Pretty soon, her body was shaking with sobs, and she felt like she wouldn't be able to stop crying. What seemed like hours, she finally stopped, and she stretched her legs out in front of her, and leaned her head back. She closed her eyes, and let sleep finally pass over her. She had been fighting sleep for days, and now that she was getting closer to safety, she felt like she could sleep for at least a little bit. The moment her eyes closed, was when the nightmares started, faces of those she knew, flashing before her minds eye.]
[font "times new roman" There was a loud bang, and it made the woman jump. Her eyes went straight to the door, and she knew that the dead were out there. She jumped to her feet, grabbed her bag, and she nearly lost her footing, when the door cracked, and in came the dead. She turned and ran towards the back of the building. 'please be a back door' she thought, as she ran through the building. Sure enough, when she rounded a corner, there was a door. She slowed her pace slightly, before she reached out for the knob. Her hand was shaking.]
[font "times new roman" She didn't know if anyone would be on the outside. She took a deep breath, and turned the knob, and peered outside. She saw no dead were there, and she slipped through the door, and drew it shut behind her. She leaned against it, and sighed. She looked around, before she started moving again. She had to make it, and she just hoped, that she wouldn't run into a swarm. If she did, she would be fucked. She only had a knife to protect herself with. That wouldn't be enough. She slid the straps of her back pack over her shoulders.]
[font "times new roman" She pulled her hat out of her back pocket, and drew it over her head. She spotted some trees, and she booked it. Praying with all of her might, she wouldn't be caught with a swarm. Her feet hitting the pavement, and she made it towards the wooded area. The sun was slowly starting to come up, and her heart was racing. The moment she was through the trees, she had her guard up. Now all she had to do was find the right way to Meadow Creek, and she would be among survivors, if there was any.]

[font "times new roman" A small sigh passed through the male's lips as he looked at himself in the dirty mirror. His whole life had changed the moment that the outbreak started. There was something dark inside of him, and he knew it. He had enjoyed killing his mother. He wanted nothing more than to do it again. He smirked at himself, as he cocked his head to the side. Shit had hit the fan, and yet he felt more alive than normal. All he had to do now was find his step sister, and kill her off too. Then everything would be perfect, at least in his mind it would be.]
[font "times new roman" Ever since the outbreak started, something inside of him snapped. He didn't know what it was, and he sure as hell didn't want it changing either. He wanted nothing more than to kill the creatures walking the earth, but knew it wouldn't make him feel better. Nothing would make him feel better, until he had his sister in his sights, and then everything would be better. He licked his lips lightly, and moved away from the mirror, and gathered up his things, sliding the bag onto his shoulder, and made his way out of the small apartment he had been staying in. It was time to move on after all.]
[font "times new roman" He made sure he had his maps, and his weapons as well. He was on his way to the so called Mall of America. He would make a pit stop there, and then continue onto his aunt's place. The one place he knew held all of her secrets. It held a journal or two talking about the first time the outbreak had happened. He remembered when he was a little boy, how she would spend hours on end talking about the outbreak, how she had nearly gotten bitten, and how she had survived. She was a strong woman, and he took after her in so many ways.]
[font "times new roman" He made his way out of the apartment building slowly, making sure the so called [i Walkers] wouldn't see him. He made sure the gun was tucked safely away inside of his jeans, and the knife was in his hands. He opened the door, peered around the corner, and saw only a couple Walkers milling around. They were growling softly, some of them groaning as well. There wasn't another living soul around. He narrowed his eyes a bit, as he slipped out of the building, and pressed his back against the wall, making his way towards the streets.]
[font "times new roman" He was only a couple of blocks away from the mall, and he was bound to make it there before the sunset. He didn't want to be out on the streets at night, that's when the dead was more active for some reason. That's something he didn't understand, but they were. He ducked his head, and made his way across the streets, avoiding the walkers at all costs. When he broke the tree lines, he noticed the parking lot before him. He was a lot closer to the mall than he originally thought. He didn't care though, he was more worried about getting shelter.]
[font "times new roman" He looked back and forth, and then broke out into a full blown run. He covered the parking lot in a couple minutes time. When he got to the bottom of the stairs, he stopped long enough to catch his breath. That's when he heard a low moan. He looked over his shoulder, and saw a couple of walkers coming towards him. He narrowed his eyes a bit, as he mounted the stairs, and slipped in through the doors. He then closed them behind him, and found something to block it for the time being. It wasn't the best, but it would do for the time being.]
[font "times new roman" He stood there catching his breath, letting the silence wash over him. That's when he heard a strange sound. Someone else was with him. He looked up, and sure enough he spotted a person. He couldn't tell if she was living or dead. The way she moved though, told him that she was a living, breathing human being. He pulled his knife out, and he followed the woman. When he got close enough, was when he grabbed the woman and threw her up against the wall. He wrapped his fingers around her throat, and looked into her eyes.]
[font "times new roman" Living eyes. Eyes he would have fallen madly in love with, if things had been different. He narrowed his eyes and finally spoke. [#0075D0 "Who are you? How long have you been here? Are there other's like you?"] he hissed. He wasn't about to let his guard down. He wanted answers, and he wanted them now. He put the tip of the knife to her throat, and made sure he was out of harms way himself. He locked his eyes on her's, and waited for the beautiful woman to speak.]
