Jackson would take some convincing to do this again. He loves their daughter but to risk her life again wasn’t worth it to him.
The faintest of pinks rose in her cheeks, something that hardly ever happened..or rather usually JUST for Jackson or Bobby when she was teased. A smile came to her lips and she gave a slow nod. [b "Thanks dad..I never thought it would.."] She admitted, though one look at Jackson had her heart sink. She knew that after Grace he wouldn't want anymore children..and she did so at least their baby girl wouldn't be lonely.
"Motherhood suits you." Lorenzo said touching Gracie's little hand while she laid in Jackson's arms. He knew after what happened they wouldn't plan for any more children, he wouldn't risk her life again.
Ally rolled her eyes at the man. [b "You didn't think she would be cute? And language mister."] She scolded as she looked up at the man, her smile unfaltering.
Jackson still had Gracie in his arms and Bobby looked at her, "I'll be damned Jackson, you managed to make one cute little girl with your wife."
Ally smiled to her father as he seemed to shed a tear as Jackson revealed Gracie's name to them. [b "She really is dad.. Has Jackson's eyes, mouth, and curls..she gets her hair colour from me and her nose."] She said affectionately as she motioned for both her dad and Bobby to come closer and officially meet Gracie.
Jackson shook his head, "No honey, you got it all.." he held Gracie, "This is our princess, Grace Irene Maine... or Gracie." He muttered and her father seemed to shed a tear, "Shes beautiful sweetie."
It had been hearing both Bobby and her father that had woken her. As had Jackson's kiss and she kissed him before Bobby's question had been asked. For a second, Ally did meet Jackson's gaze. Did she really want to tell them? But if she didn't, Jackson would so she kind of did not have the choice. [b "Little Grace is perfectly fine and amazing...crying almost as soon as she was born. I was the more problematic...they were trying to get Jackson to choose... But I'll be okay...they just think it's safer to keep me here for a few days."] She whispered as she gently passed Grace to Jackson, being careful not to wake their baby girl. [b "Did I miss anything, baby..?"] She whispered as she would not look at her father or his brother but looked instead at Gracie who was looking up at them with her big blue eyes.
Jackson nodded and kissed Ally and then the top of Grace's head and smiled, "Hey, thanks for getting Lorenzo from the airport." Bobby nodded and said, "No problem... how are the girls?" Jackson looked to Ally so she could answer.
Everyone had been worried since they had told them of what had happened. Her dad, his grandparents, and Bobby had been calling often to check up on them. [b "I never thought I would want children...or the married life.. But here I have you and I have Grace. Both of you mean everything to me... And thanks baby for calling everyone."] Ally said quietly. She full-heartedly agreed with him on when they could of taking Grace to Arizona.
Ally's head rested on Jackson's shoulder as she still held Grace and she began to drift off. It was as she had did her dad and Bobby both come to the doorway. Both men were looking at Jackson and a sleeping Ally, holding Grace. "Is it okay if we come in..?"
"I never thought I'd have kids and here she is, all small and perfect... and I have you... I will do anything I can for you and Grace... I called Bobby and your dad and my grandparents, I told my grandparents as soon as we can we will come to Arizona and she can meet them and Bobby is picking up your dad at the airport."
When Gracie had been put in her arms, Ally held their daughter gently. She had been a little pouty as she would have liked to feed her first but she knew there was plenty of time for that. [b "I would have never gotten through it without you. She is so much like you I can't get over it.."] Her words were soft as she softly began to hum to Gracie, hazel eyes going to Jackson as she moved over as much as she could so he could lay with her and their daughter.
Jackson placed Gracie in her arms and said, “The nurse had me feed her, Gracie is perfect, even bigger than they expected. You did amazing baby.”
She did and that was what scared her. [b "I do know that. I love you, Jackson."] She whispered. Soon they had a room for her and had the machines hooked up. It was said that she was doing better but still at risk and they wanted to keep her for the next few days.
He nodded, “I will always choose you and Gracie over myself, you have to know that.”
