[center [font "tempus sans itc" Everyone is supposed to have a soulmate. Sometimes it's better to keep to themselves. It wasn't like everything people do makes someone else feel better. There's always something deep inside of a person. Something that makes them feel like they aren't worth the fight anymore. The Pierce siblings all have their own issues. Things have been hard for them, and they don't believe in love anymore. At one point they all felt like they had met the woman of their dreams. That's until they found out what they really had done. Now they don't believe in anything anymore. That is until fate decides to step in, and bring love back into their lives.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" [b Malachi Pierce] is the oldest out of the four boys. He's always trying to have everything under his control. He doesn't care what other's think about him. He's always busting his ass at work, and when he's not at work he's out and about on the town trying to find things to pass the time. Ever since he was little, he was always needing something to keep him busy. Not many people understood that, so when his parents tried sending him to see someone, he threw a huge fit. He wasn't going to be locked inside a room talking about his 'Feelings' to a total stranger. He wasn't the one to open up, and he sure as hell wasn't going to do it to please his parents either, even if it meant they would be proud of him.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" As the years passed, he made a name for himself. He showed the world that he was a strong person, and didn't need anyone to tell him otherwise. He built his own company from the ground up, and he busted his ass day in and day out to keep it going. Even though people told him it wouldn't happen, he knew it would. He wasn't going to give up. People would tell him he needed a woman in his life, when in reality it would only hold him back. He didn't want someone to hold him back, he wanted someone to support him, and the last woman he dated never did that. She was nothing but a lying bitch, and he realized that too late. He promised he wouldn't fall head over heels again, until [b Female One] showed up one day at his office, asking for a job.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" [b Hunter Pierce] is the second oldest in the family. He's also the 'Man Whore'. He would sleep with whatever had legs. He didn't care if it was a male, or a female. He didn't like getting attached to people. It wasn't his style either. He didn't want to get attached to people, because of the fact he always got hurt. He didn't want to wear his heart on his sleeve like his other brothers. He would rater screw someone, and be on his way. He knew people got attached to him, and the moment he found out he cut all ties. He didn't want people getting attached to him at all. He had an image to keep up, even if it meant hurting people at the same time.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" Hunter liked his space. He liked feeling like he could control something. Sometimes it wasn't the best idea to do that, but it was how he was. That's until [b Female Two] randomly pops up into his life. Even though she didn't know anything about him, she could tell there was something special about him. She wanted to get to know him, dig into his mind and see what he was really like. Hunter on the other hand didn't like that. He didn't like how he wanted to see her all of the time. He wanted to keep his distance, because for once he didn't want to hurt anyone. This time he wanted to make something happen, but he didn't know how to do it. He didn't even know if it would be worth it either.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" [b Andrew Pierce] is the second to youngest. He's been with one woman for the past six years. He had planned on asking her to marry him, when he found out she was sleeping with his best friend. He didn't want to believe it at first, but the signs had always been there. When she would draw away from him, not look at him, or even touch him. He knew something was off about her, but he didn't want to believe it. He's always trying to see the good in people. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and he would always put other's before him. The night when he was to pop the question was when everything came out into the open. Scarlett had been sleeping with Wyatt, and she was carrying his baby. It tore Andrew apart. He was planning on spending his whole life with her, but now it's gone.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" He became the kind of man he didn't want to be. He didn't want to trust anyone again. He knew he wouldn't trust anyone, but deep down he wanted the feeling of being loved back. He wanted to feel like he meant something to someone. Even if it meant hurting himself in the end. He didn't like feeling pain, that's why he hardly let those feelings show. He was always trying his best. That's when [b Female Three] pops into his life. She's a whirl wind of personality. She's the kind of person who won't take anyone's shit, and that's what drew him to her. At first he didn't want anything to do with her, because of Scarlett, but he knew he wouldn't be able to move on if he didn't get attached to someone else. It might be a bad idea, but he might as well take a leap, and see where it takes him.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" [b Shawn Pierce] is the baby of the family. He was always spoiled, and he could get away with a lot more shit than his brothers. That's when he met and feel head over heels for an older woman. She had taught him things he wouldn't have been able to learn alone. She was a spit fire, but he knew it wouldn't last. He didn't want to seem like a child, so he made sure to keep his distance most of the time. Sometimes he would get jealous because she was always on the arm of another man. He wanted her, and he wanted her badly. When he told her what he was feeling, she told him he was nothing but a play thing for her. She didn't care about him, and she never would. He was a good lay, and that was it. It tore him apart to hear those words, but it made him realize something, he was worth so much more.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" [b Female Four] had been best friends with Shawn for years. She had kept her feelings to herself, because she didn't want him knowing. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but she wanted him to know how she felt. One night while they were out and about on the town, was when she finally got the guts to tell him. At first Shawn didn't know what to say. He had felt the same way, but he had been too focused on the other woman. He didn't mean to brush his best friend aside, but there was something stirring inside of him. Something he wanted to act upon, but he didn't know how too. He didn't want to scare the woman away, but he didn't want to deal with the heartbreak again either.]]

[center [font "tempus sans itc" Everything these brothers do will plan out their lives. They can't keep to themselves forever, but sometimes it better that way. Will the women be able to break them out of their shells? Will the brother's find the love they deserve? Will everything fall apart? Or will everything finally come together? You'll never know unless you join, [i [b Love & Hate]].]]

Amelia sighed softly as she took in a breath of fresh air. It was days like this that she enjoyed nothing more than walking through a secluded area to enjoy the peace and tranquility that was offered by nature. The greenery was clearly well looked after and the trees had been planted so carefully to line the path from one end of the park to the other. They were adorned with blossoms and leaves of different shades and as she cast her gaze upon them she couldn’t help but allow her lips to curl up into a smile. All she could hear was the sound of the birds and the creatures that had made the park their home and for the first time in weeks she felt at peace and settled. Hopefully everything would come to head and she would finally be able to settle in this new town and make a new life; one where her parents didn’t exist. However, she wouldn’t think about such things now, especially when she was feeling at peace with everything right now. The last thing she wanted was ruin a perfectly good mood.

She had not ventured very far from the swings as she had slowed her pace without realising to take in the sights of the park. The sound of nature was no longer the only sound she could hear. A male voice broke through and made her turn around so that she could see who the voice belonged to. She had not expected to see the man who had just been sitting on the swings but she smiled towards him regardless. She chuckled to herself slightly at the odd way he thanked her for smiling at him.

[b “Oh, are more than welcome. I’m glad that it made you smile.”] Now that he was close to her she took the moment to take in his appearance. She had thought that he was handsome when she had observed him from afar but it was clear that her passing glance had not been enough to fully appreciate what he looked like. His jawline looked as though it had been hand carved by someone who appreciated beauty and detail and the small bit of facial hair he had was well-groomed and suited his face perfectly. Then his eyes...there was so much she could say about his eyes yet it seemed as though there were no words for her to say at all. If she would be expected to speak in that moment she wasn’t sure that she would be able to. His piercing eyes were enough to send her back to her days in high school when she pined over a crush as though he were the most beautiful creation on this Earth. Yet with him...she was sure that he [i was] the moment beautiful thing on Earth. Luckily she was given a few seconds to gather herself when he pulled his eyes away from her to favour the ground beneath his feet. It was just what she needed to pull herself together.

[b “I just moved here a few days ago. I’m currently on a break from unpacking boxes. I thought I might take a walk to prevent my back from becoming permanently deformed from leaning over mounds of boxes.”] Amelia laughed slightly as she absently allowed one hand to play with the other. As if he might have detected her nerves, he took the opportunity to apologise and started to make his way in the opposite direction as her lips parted to speak. However, he was already quite a distance away from her before she could manage anything.

[b “Have a wonderful day too.”] She whispered to herself as she was left standing there alone once more. Amelia sighed and decided to make her way out of the park and towards some of the offices on the other side so that she could hand deliver some resumes for potential positions. A couple of hours later she found herself in the reception of the building that her grateful stranger happened to manage. Whether she would find that out was yet to be seen. She smiled towards the woman manning the reception desk as she made her way towards her gracefully. She had made sure that she was dressed appropriately so that she could make a good first impression. After all, she couldn’t know who she might meet.

[b “Hello, I’m sorry to bother you as I am sure that you are busy. I was just hoping that I might be able to leave a resume with you in case any vacancies open.”] Amelia smiled as she slid the folder towards the woman in hopes that she would take the resume and file it.

This was a normal day in the diner for her. She was used to having men try to hit on her but it wasn’t every day that some of the men were bold enough to actually lay their hands upon her. She told herself that she had to remain professional, no matter how insignificant the job was because she couldn’t afford to lose this job because of some loser who couldn’t keep his hands to himself. The men were still laughing and joking about how she needed to lighten up rather than resist them. One even suggested that she join them and she simply shook her head and parted her lips to start speaking but she was beaten to it by a stranger who had decided to put himself between her and the men.

She blinked in disbelief for a moment as the man tried to defend her and she almost choked when she heard him say that he was her boyfriend. She might have corrected him or protested if she had that chance but there was so much back and forth between the two of them that she could barely find a gap to speak up. That, and it looked as though the stranger was actually making some progress with the men. That was until he seemed to resort to violence. She almost squealed with shock and took a step forward in an attempt to make sure that no more violence took place. It was very likely that she might witness a full brawl in the middle of the diner but miraculously the men decided that it was better to leave and see to the man’s broken nose.

Rachelle took a step back from him as the men left and placed a hand over her mouth in shock. When he smiled she could do nothing more than laugh and she removed the hand from her mouth and she shook her head. [b “No no...don’t worry [i boyfriend] I got it.”] She let out a sigh and looked over the table and then back up at her knight in shining armour. She was about to say something to him when her boss walked over towards them and suggested that he should leave too. He wasn’t going to cause anymore trouble but he seemed that he was going to take his leave anyway however, before he did he handed his number over to her. She smiled towards his and pulled the paper up towards her lips and nodded.

[b “I might just...”] She said with seductive smile and continued to work through her shift when he took his leave. She started by cleaning up the mess that had been made and then she started to serve customers as they trickled in and out of the diner. Every now and then she would look over the piece of paper holding the digits of the man who had felt the need to protect her. It had been a while since someone had felt the need to do so and she wasn’t about to lie to herself and pretend that she didn’t love it.

By the time her shift came to a end, she was all too keen to punch his number into her phone and waited until she heard his voice on the other end of the line. [b “I believe I was promised a lift home by my knight in shining armour.”] She said, humour lacing her tone.

Taylor did not have to wait long before the gentleman decided to answer her question, although he did seem to hesitate a little bit. Whether that was because he didn’t want any company in the first place or whether it was a different reason but she didn’t need to linger on the hesitation now that he permitted her to take the seat. She smiled and nodded her head towards the man as she started to lower herself into the seat next to him even thought the man decided to stand and held her. How chivalrous.

[b “And why are you all alone in need of company?”] She asked as she mentioned for the bartender. [b “Can I have your most popular mocktail and whatever he’s been drinking?”] The bartender nodded and was quick to get to work on her order. She took the moment to look around the bar while she waited for her order. It was rather busy but there were plenty of seats and she was sure that she must have looked a little desperate to ask for the only seat in the house that was next to a perfect stranger. She wasn’t exactly the reserved type though and it wasn’t fun to sit in a bar waiting on someone alone. Besides, this man looked like he could use someone to talk to, even if it was for a short time.

Taylor laughed at his question and thanked the bartender who brought them their drinks and she took a sip of her mocktail before looking towards Andrew to answer his question. [b “Well I promised a friend I would wait near the bar for her. I figured that there was no point in waiting alone and you look like you didn’t want to be I just invited myself to sit with you in hopes that I might be able to lessen whatever you are feeling and allow the time to pass with a little more enjoyment.”]

God she hoped that she didn’t sound insane. She wouldn’t be surprised if she did. [b “Besides, maybe I like the view from here.”] She said over the lip of her glass before taking
a sip of her drink. [b “So, do you want to tell me what seems to have you so down? Strangers don’t judge. At least not this one anyway.”] She was the last person in the world to have the right to judge anyone. Her past was selfish and probably more screwed up that any story he could tell her and over the years she had become quiet a good listener. That’s what made her such a good sponsor. Her recovery had turned into something more and now she was helping a lot more people get through their own troubles since hers seemed to be so far behind her.

Meghan was so surprised to hear that Shawn thought that she might not come at all. After all the years they had known each other she had never let him down and she certainly wasn’t about to start that now. No matter what happened she would always be here for him, even if he had bailed on her several times for that woman. He only let her look through the books for a couple of seconds before he started to pull her into an embrace and she laughed to cover up the shudder she felt from his breath on her ear and her neck. She swallowed hard and hope that the effect of having him so close hadn’t left evidence upon her face. The word friend always seemed to make her heart ache a little bit when he said it but while he was still obsessing over the older woman, she wouldn’t say anything to his about her feelings.

She nodded when he showed her the books and when he spoke about a potential sob fest she raised her eyebrow. [b “Is is that bad?”] She asked, already knowing the answer. He wouldn’t have called her if things weren’t as bad as they possibly could get. She just hoped that he wouldn’t let her walk all over him again. Every time she called him to apologise he seemed to run straight back into her bed. Apparently the sex and the lust to go with it was enough to entrap him in her grip. She hated her for it and she was sure if she ever met the woman she would slap her stupid.

Meghan presses her hand against his back and gently pushed on it. [b “Come on let’s go and pay for these and go grab that coffee.”] They stopped to get a couple more books on the way to the counter. [b “Yeah I will meet you outside. Just be quick.”] Meghan made her way to the front of the store and then stepped just outside of the shop and waited for him to come out. She took her phone out of her back pocket and checked through her phone to see if she had any messages but now that she was with Shawn, there would be no one sending her any messages. She glanced back into the shop and saw that Shawn was looking at his phone too. She had no doubt that Rosa was trying to claw his way back into his life and she could only hope that she might convince him to move on.

She cleared her throat and slid her phone back into her pocket and smiled as Shawn rejoined her. She rolled her eyes and looked down at the screen to read through the message that she had sent. [b “I swear if you go back to her I will castrate you myself.”] Meghan handed the phone back to him and made a turn that would lead them to the food court. [b “We are both going to need caffeine to figure this out.”] She places her arm around him and pulled him close. [b “You have nothing to worry about. You’ve got me and I will help you get through this alright?”] she smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek and pulled her arm back so that it was no longer around him but resting at her side.

Being wrapped up in his thoughts, he hadn't realized he had company. That was until he heard the footsteps, and he spotted the woman. He was surprised that she just smiled and kept walking. He wasn't used to that. He was so used to people coming up to him, and talking. In a way it was like a breath of fresh air. He tore his eyes away from the beautiful woman, and looked down at his feet, as he pushed himself back and forth on the swing. He felt like a giant kid, and that made him smile a little.

He sat there for a little bit longer, before he stopped himself and stood. He saw that the woman was still there, and he bit the inside of his cheek lightly. He might as well go over and thank her, for the small smile she had offered to him. It might not mean anything, but to him it brightened his day. He walked up to her, and clear his throat lightly. [b "I know you don't know me, and I sure as hell don't know you, but I wanted to thank you for the smile."] he said softly, feeling slightly shy.

He didn't know what brought that on, but when he locked his eyes on her's, his heart seemed to skip a beat. She was beautiful, and he could see himself wooing her right into his bed. When he realized what he was thinking, he started kicking himself for it. He wasn't always like this, but having a beautiful woman, he hadn't seen before right before him, was bringing out that side of himself. A side he tried so hard not to let take over. He rubbed the back of his head, and looked down at his feet, that nervous feeling back.

[b "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new here?"] he asked her. That was a really smooth question. What else was he supposed to say though? He was making a huge fool of himself, and he didn't like it. He wanted the ground to open up under his feet, and swallow him whole. [b "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have intruded. I did want to thank you for the smile though, and I do wish you have a wonderful day"] he said. He then turned on his heel, and walked back to where his car was parked.

He pulled his keys out, unlocked the car and slid behind the wheel. He started the car, and then slammed his hands down against the wheel. [b "You are a mess.."] he muttered to himself. He sighed and backed out of the spot, and headed back to the office. He had said he would be gone, but he had to clear his mind, and distract himself. His job, was what did that for him. He was still kicking himself for making a fool of himself, in front of the woman he didn't even know. He sighed again, and pulled into the parking garage.

He found his parking spot, shut the car off and sat there for a moment longer. What was he supposed to do anyway? He wanted to go home, but at the same time he didn't. He knew his Secretary would be wondering why he was back. He shook his head lightly, climbed out of the car, shut the door behind him and locked it. He then headed back into the building, and went to his floor. He plastered on a smile as he walked back into the office. Everyone looked at him strangely, but he brushed it off. He walked into his office and shut the door firmly behind him.

The male looked up when he heard a woman's voice. When she said she would be right back with a menu, he nodded lightly. He honestly didn't know what to do, or how to feel at the moment. He was still hurting, but at the same time it was better this way. When she handed him a menu, he smiled towards her. [b "Thank you"] he said lightly. He then opened the menu, and started looking it over. As he was trying to decide on what to have, he heard the voices and laughter. His eyes moved towards the pretty woman.

When he saw one of them men touch her, he placed the menu down, and stood. He moved over to their table, and he gently moved in front of her. [b "Do you think it's funny treating her like that?"] he asked lightly. He was trying to keep his temper under control. [i "Who are you? Her keeper?"] the man asked. [b "As a matter of fact, I'm her boyfriend, and I would like it if you wouldn't touch her like that, hell I would love it if you would just get up, and leave. Don't come back either"] he said.

[i "Who died and made you boss? This place is for everyone, and she's a fine piece of ass you got. Mind sharing, and we could do a little gang bang?"] the male said. His friends burst out into laughter, and then Hunter was drawing his hand back, and punched the male in the face. He felt the small crunch under his hand, and he knew he broke the assholes nose. Sure enough, blood came pouring out, and the other male grabbed at his nose. [i "You mother fucker, how dare you hit me"] he said, tears streaming down his face.

[b "You talked bad about my lady, so yes I will protect her. Now if you would be so kind, you are getting blood everywhere. Or do I need to do more damage?"] he asked. The male shook his head, and his friends helped him to his feet. [i "I will find you, and I will make you pay"] he hissed. Hunter just shook his head, and watched as they left. He then turned to the woman, and smiled sheepishly. [b "Sorry about that.. I'll clean up the mess if you would like"] he offered. It was the least he could do.

That's when a taller man walked over, his arms crossed over his chest. [u "I think you should leave too. You caused enough damage here. So escort yourself out"] he said. Hunter nodded lightly, as he reached for a napkin. He hurried and wrote his phone number down, and handed it to the woman. [b "Let me know when you get off work, I'll take you home. I think those assholes will be back for round two"] he said. He then moved over to his table, and grabbed his things. He sighed when his stomach growled.

He was still hungry, but he brought this onto himself. There was a small cafe down the street, and he decided he would get something to eat there. He looked towards the woman, to make sure she was okay, before he slipped out into the chilly air, and walked down the street to the cafe. He walked inside, got his order and sat at a table, waiting to hear from the pretty blonde. If she chose to even message him that was.

Andrew was sitting there, letting his mind wander. Everything was spinning out of his control, and there wasn't a damn thing he could do to stop it. No matter how much he tried, he felt like he was slipping more and more away. He knew his brother's could see it too. He wasn't the same, and he was closing off. He would lash out at anyone if they pissed him off. It wasn't his fault. In a way it wasn't fully his fault. He had let himself fall head over heels for a woman, and she treated him like shit.

He had promised himself, he wouldn't let that happen. He had been so wrapped up in keeping her happy, at first he didn't realize what she was doing to him. She would be out till all hours of the night, and when she did come home, she smelt of another man. He didn't want to believe it, because he had finally found someone he could love. But then the hiding of her phone, the passwords he would have to ask her for. They had kept their phones unlocked, because sometimes one would forget theirs, and would have to use the other's.

He should have seen it coming, but he had been blind. She treated him like a king, and he had done the same to her. He would spoil her, and take her out on the town. He always bought her whatever she wanted, but then things changed. The secrets, the staying out late, and even though he had seen the signs, he didn't want to believe it. He let it get out of control, and it was all his fault. He sighed lightly as he looked down into the glass in front of him. That's when he heard a soft voice near him.

He looked towards the sound, and his heart hammered inside of his chest. He hadn't seen anyone this beautiful in ages. He shook his head lightly, and cleared his throat. [b "No, that seat isn't taken. I'm alone honestly, and I would like the company"] he said with a small smile. He stood and helped the woman down onto the stool, before he sat back down. He picked up his glass, downed the contents, and placed the glass back down onto the counter. He was at a loss for words at the moment, and he looked like an idiot.

[b "So.. Was this the only seat open? Or was there a reason you asked to sit by me?"] he asked her. He glanced around, and saw that the place was still slightly empty. He wouldn't mind if she kept him company though. She was beautiful, and he did feel a spark between them. It could be the drinks he had, but there was something there. Something about this woman was drawing him. It wasn't a good idea, but he decided he would let things play out. Maybe things would be different right now. He had to give it a shot at least.

The male really thought he fucked things up with Meghan. When she didn't reply to either of his messages it started to worry him. He sighed lightly knowing he would deserve whatever she chose to do. He had brushed her off countless times, and treated her like shit. What kind of friend did that? He was a shitty person, and everyone knew it. Everyone but Meghan. He had been lucky to snag her as a friend. Their bond was something special, and knew he wouldn't be able to find it in anyone else. She treated him like a person, instead of an object.

As he moved down to the next set of books, he heard her voice and he looked towards her. A grin broke out onto his face, as he wrapped her up in his arms. [b "I thought you wouldn't come. I thought you would have ignored me. You are honestly the best friend a guy could ever ask for"] he said into her ear. He kissed her cheek lightly, before letting her go. He then reached for his sketch books, and held them up. [b "I found the most important ones"] he said with a smirk, and tucked them under his arm.

As she spoke about coffee, he nodded a bit. [b "That would be nice. So you might as well get ready for a sob fest"] he said bitterly. He didn't like talking about Rosa, but with Meghan, it was a whole different story. He adored the kind of friendship they had, and he wouldn't trade it for the world. As he was about to turn around, and head to the check out counter, he spotted a couple of text books he would need. He grabbed them, and put them under his arm as well.

He then turned and headed to the front. [b "Wanna meet me outside? I'll be there in a second"] he said smiling. He then went to check out, and as he was his phone went off. He sighed knowing who it was. He then pulled his phone out, and read the text message. [i Seeing as you have fully left, you should come and get your things. Edward needs to move in. You are a piece of shit Shawn, always have been, and always will be. If I didn't know any better, you were the one cheating on me.]

[i Come and get your shit now, and then you and I could get into bed, have some amazing make up sex, and things will go back to normal. Xoxo.] That's all the message said. She treated him like shit, and then expected him to get into bed with her? If Meghan wasn't here right now, he would be heading over there now to bed the woman. He paid for his books, slid his phone back into his pocket, and walked out of the shop. [b "Rosa just texted me"] he said, as he handed over his phone. He then headed to the food court, his mood going down hill.

Life had been a bit of a whirlwind for Amelia these past couple of weeks. Moving to a new town had proven to be quite hectic and she still wasn’t sure whether she was settled here yet but she figured that would all change when she started to lay down roots with a job and even make some friends while she was here. It wasn’t as though she was completely alone here. Her friend Rachelle had helped her find somewhere to live and promised that she would be there for her whenever she needed her and so far she had stayed true to that promise. After all, she had been there for her when she needed her in the past. Rachelle has her fair share of tough times and it was these experiences that had helped the two bond over the years.

The reason that she had moved here in the first place was because she was trying to get away from the memories of her old town. It wasn’t as though she had experienced anything that had jaded her in any way but she had lived there with her parents; it was where she lived out her childhood and now that they were gone she just couldn’t face being there alone. A few months ago her parents had been caught in a hostage situation and being the brave individuals that they were they had tried to help some of the people escape rather than follow the demands of those with the weapons and the two of them, along with those they had tried to help were shot in an attempt to deter further defiance from the rest of their hostages. The people responsible were caught and had been sentenced and perhaps that was the reason that she felt able to move on and try to start the next chapter of her life. She was sure that if they were still out there, she might not have had the strength to do so.

The last few days she had spent time unpacking boxes and sending in application forms for jobs, knowing that she didn’t want to be without one for too long. Amelia was not someone who could be without a job to keep her busy and she intended to ensure that she was hired for one before the end of the week. Rachelle offered to get her a job at the diner she worked in as a temporary measure and she would take her up on that offer if she found herself without work, but what she wanted was a career, not something that simply brought in the money to pay her rent. She had made a note of a couple of the local businesses; ones that might benefit from her making the effort to hand deliver a resume and decided that she would perhaps visit some of the offices that afternoon. For now she needed to stretch her legs and walk for a little while so that she wasn’t curled over boxes for several more hours on end.

She grabbed her jacket and made her way towards the door, knowing that there was a park just across the street from her apartment and today was a good a day as any to explore. There was a gentle chill in the air but the sun was beaming down on her, bringing a soft smile to her face as she bouncing happily along the street that would lead her to the entrance of the park. It was one of those parks that would be a great family space and she imagined that on the weekend, this place was full of children running around and playing. It was a picturesque park but she couldn’t help but notice the playground in the distance. It wasn’t her intention to walk towards it but her feet carried her there as she was drawn in by the memory of her parents bringing her to places like this when she was a child.

It wasn’t until she neared that she noticed that the park was empty apart from the single figure, slowing moving back and forth on the swing and she couldn’t help but smile to herself. This was the kind of place she came to when she needed to clear her head and she was sure that she would be doing the same at some point. The man in question looked troubled but she wasn’t about to intrude and abuse the stranger’s privacy so rather than talking to him, like she would have done in the past, she simply offered him a smile as she walked past him, wondering what kind of day he was having to look so somber as he sat secluded on the swing.

[b “How many times do I have to tell you we are over? I’m not interested in your apology and I’m not interested in your excuses.”] The voice on the other end of the phone was almost shouting, trying to get her to listen to him but she didn’t have any interest in hearing anything he had to say. [b “Look, you lied to me. I can’t trust you anymore. For Christ sakes Harrison, you got another woman pregnant and you just expect me to look past that and have a relationship with you anyway? You need to stop calling me. I’ve moved on and I’m not interested in anything you have to say.”] With that Rachelle put the phone down and spent a few minutes trying to calm her anger. They had split up months ago and he was going to become a father in a month yet he still couldn’t seem to get the message into his head about how much she needed him out of his life. She had been angry, she had grieved the loss of him and now she was ready to start her life again.

Rachelle shook her head and made her way upstairs so that she could get ready for work and try to put that phone conversation out of her mind. Perhaps when she finished work later that night she would be able to see Amelia and spend some time together so that she could reset herself. There was something about her that was so calming that she seemed to suck all of the anger out of her and those around her. She sent the woman a text to see if she was free before she changed into something more suitable for work. Working in the diner meant she needed to be comfortable and wear something she didn’t mind getting ruined if she accidentally spilled something down her. She changed into an older T-shirt and some jeans before she checked the time.

Rachelle would be a little bit early if she left now but she didn’t mind that. The earlier she got to work, the earlier she could distract herself. She pulled on a jacket, grabbed her car keys and made her way out to the car, locking the door behind her. The drive wasn’t a long one, in fact it was only a five minute drive and she probably could have walked there. Usually she would have done but with her shift being so late, she had no intention of walking home in the dark and if Amelia was free would be driving a little further.

She parked the car up in the designated spaces for staff and climbed out. As she walked in she caught sight of Taylor and she smiled. [b “You get yourself off early. I’ve got you covered.”] She said and laughed when the woman placed a kiss on her cheek. She had grown rather fond of Taylor and she knew that the two of them would help each other out at work if they needed to. She pulled on her apron and made her way over to a table where a man sat alone, she noticed that he had not yet been given a menu and she walked over with one and smiled.

[b “I’ll be back in just a minute to take your order.”] She made her way to a few of the other tables, making sure they all had menus before she made her way back to the table where Hunter sat and took his order, before telling him that his food wouldn’t be long. After she made sure the kitchen got his order and she made her way to another table. These were the kind of tables she hated. A table full of men trying to make themselves look good in front of each other. Still she put on a smile.

[b “Okay, what can I get for you?”] She asked with her pen at the ready.

[i “How about a burger with a side order of you?”] The moment the man spoke the table erupted with laughter and she shook her head.

[b “I’m not on the menu so you might want to choose something else.”]

[i “Oh but with an ass like that you should be.”] He reaches out and touched her and she backed away.

[b “Keep your hands to yourself or I will have you removed.”]

There was something about the feeling of being high. The sights, the smells the emotions. The mental state was intoxicating and seductive and that in itself was part of the reason why Taylor loved the drugs. They made her a better person. At least that is what she was led to believe. Her laughed echoed through the bedroom where she seemed to enjoy the company of the man who had elevated her state of mind in the first place. This is what she did. She got high, had some fun and repeat it the very next day. A lot of the time she didn’t even need to pay for the drugs. She would just have sex with those who were all too willing to share their product and right now she was enjoying the ecstasy of the evening and she couldn’t envisage anything pulling her out of the high but it would. When she reached the climax of intercourse she rolled herself over and laughed to herself. Together, the two of them prepared another line of cocaine and inhaled the drug.

She wasn’t even sure how much they had taken but she knew that it was a lot more than she had ever had before. The rest of that night was a blur and when she woke up the next morning she spent a fair few minutes trying to figure out where she was. It wasn’t her room, that much she was sure of and when she sat up she started to get flashes of the night before. A flash of bare skin, the smell of sex. Taylor brought her hand up to her face and ran it over as if to wipe the memories from her mind. She looked at the man lying next to her on the bed and she found herself smiling. He was most certainly an attractive one and she was overcome with a sense of pride. Taylor climbed out of bed and pulled on whatever clothes she had been wearing the night before, and she moved towards the front door. It was locked.

[b “Damn it.”] The last thing that she wanted to do was wake him and speak to him. The plan was that she never wanted to see him again. All she wanted to do was slip out quietly and get on with her life but she didn’t know that it was all about to change.

[b “Hey, I need to get out and your door is locked.”] When he didn’t respond she moved closer to him and grabbed the hand that had fallen down the side of the bed. When she picked it up she dropped it instantly. His body was cold and that fact alone caused a wave of panic to overcome her. She didn’t even need to check his pulse to know that he was dead. Overdose. She had heard about it happening and had all the warnings but she had never quite seen it with her own eyes but she didn’t need a post-mortem to know that is what killed him. This would be a turning point in her life now. Perhaps she would be arrested for her drug use or perhaps they would try and make this out to be a murder but Taylor wasn’t cold enough to just leave his body there. Her hands were shaking when she dialled the number to alert the emergency services of her situation.

The rest of the day was just a blurry as the evening but the drugs had nothing to do with that. It was merely the matter of being trapped in a room with a dead body. Taylor had predicted the drug charges against her but there was very obvious evidence of drug overdose and for that reason she was arrested for any other reason. From that moment she promised herself that she would get herself clean and off the drugs much to the distaste of her circle of friends. After all she was far too young for this lifestyle.

Two years. For two years Taylor had managed to keep herself clean. Just because she was clean from the drugs that didn’t mean her life was perfect and clean. She lived in a crappy apartment and worked a low wage waiting job but even she could see that it was better than the life she was living before. It took her to get clean to realise just how much her life had spiralled. Now she had sentenced herself to this life of disrepair because of her stupid record which followed her around everywhere. She was certain that her life would pretty much be stuck this way for good and even though she did have a certain urge to better herself it wouldn’t be something that she would ever be able to do now.

Instead she would spend her time working for the pervert who had hired her on the spot because he liked the look of her ass. Even though that in itself was demeaning, he didn’t ask questions nor did he run a check before allowing her to start working there. She could put up with the sexualised comments to keep a wage coming in; that much she could control. There were a few times he pushed it and put his hands on her but she needed the job and she couldn’t do much to stop that. Today he was pushing it, calling her sexy in front of the customers and he slapped her ass at least twice. It was her fault for letting it get that far. The fact that she didn’t protest meant that he could push the boundaries a little.

She only had to endure her shift for another two hours before she could get herself out of there. Rachelle was the one to save her, coming in to take over her shift and she was all too grateful. She didn’t even hesitate to remove her apron as she placed a kiss on Rachelle’s cheek, telling her that she would see her tomorrow as they were working together then.

She had promised a friend that she would meet her at a bar in town. She was still so proud of herself that she could now spend time in a bar without the desire to drink or do drugs like before but she knew that she was a better person for it. She turned down the street and found the bar, making her way inside. It was already pretty busy but she told her friend that she would wait near the bar, knowing she would get there late.

[b “I’m sorry, is this seat taken?”] She asked as she noticed an empty seat next to a gentleman who appeared to be alone but since he had a couple of drinks in front of him, his company could be in the bathroom. She smiled towards him and waited for his response before she would take the seat, not wanting to upset anyone.

Meghan has been friends with Shawn for as long as she could remember. They had been there for each other through thick and thin and she would always stand by him, even if she didn’t necessarily agree with some of his choices. His most recent choice in women was one of the things that she didn’t agree with but she never said anything to him. She promised that she would support him no matter what and that was exactly what she did but she wasn’t sure she would be able to hold her tongue for much longer. Even if she promised to stand by him she couldn’t watch him give his heart to a woman who was simply using him for nothing but sex.

She hoped that it would die out soon but she also knew that he would be heartbroken when it did and she would need to be there for him. Meghan walked through the doors of the mall so that she could find a birthday present for her mother. She was easy enough to buy for but Meghan was quite picky. One think she did notice is that her mother didn’t have much jewellery and she wanted to buy her something special from the jewellers. There were quite a few in the mall and she didn’t have any plans today so it wasn’t as though she needed to rush. She had spent quite a few hours browsing the shops until she found something that she thought would be suitable for her.

When she left the shop she reached into her pocket for her phone. She hadn’t checked it for a while and when she looked over it she noticed that she had two messages from Shawn. She sighed as she read the first message. It was only a matter of time before something happened with Rosa but she didn’t know that it would happen so soon. She read where he was and without replying she made her way to the shop, knowing that it was only a few shops up. Even if he had brushed her off for Rosa a couple of times, she wouldn’t hold that against him and punish if for that when he needed a friend.

Meghan walked into the book shop and looked around before her eyes found him and she smiled to herself. If she could stop her heart from fluttering every time she saw him she would. She sighed and moved towards him.

[b “Hey there.”] She said with a smile as she placed a hand in his shoulder. [b “Need help finding the books you need?”] Meghan smiled towards him and started to look through the books on the shelf and she nudged him gently with her shoulder. [b “Want to grab some coffee and talk when we found everything you need?”]

[font "tempus sans itc" Malachi let out a sigh, as his eyes moved to the clock on the computer screen. He cocked his head slightly to the side, and groaned. It's been an hour since he had gotten back from lunch, and so far no one has bothered him. He knew it wasn't going to be long till it happened, but he held his breath and waited for the ball to drop. As he leaned back into his chair, a knock sounded on the door. [#FFA500 "Come on in"] he called. The door to his office opened up, and in walked a red headed female.]

[font "tempus sans itc" The male cocked his head to the side, and leaned back into his chair. He crossed his arms over his chest, and raised a 'brow slightly. [#FFA500 "Can I help you Scarlett?"] he asked her. The woman cocked her head to the side, and smiled at him. [i "I figured I would come and find you, when you never called me. You told me you would the other night, and when you didn't, I got slightly worried that you weren't interested in me"] she said with a small pout of her lips.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#FFA500 "And you are right. I'm not interested. It was a one time thing. If you don't mind, I would like you to leave my office, and go find someone who's into people like you"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [i "Excuse me? You aren't interested anymore? Well that's fine with me. But what do you mean 'Find someone who's into people like you?'"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#FFA500 "You are nothing but an attention seeking whore. You threw yourself at me the other night, and that's the only reason why I even slept with you. I don't sleep with women the first night, and honestly I regret doing it"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [i "So in other words, you are calling me a whore? That's good to know. Just watch yourself from now on"] the woman hissed. The male cocked his head to the side, and watched as she stormed out of the office. He shook his head lightly, as he turned to the computer. He looked at the time again, and groaned. He loved his job, but at the same time he didn't. Like right now he wanted to be anywhere but here at the moment.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He pulled some papers out of the drawer by the computer, and as he was about to start filing them away, another knock sounded. [#FFA500 "What the hell do you want?"] he snapped. That's when the woman who worked for him poked her head around the side. [#ff00ff "I'm sorry to intrude, but you have a phone call from the Prime Minister. He doesn't want to wait another day to talk to you"] she said lightly, as she bit the inside of her cheek. The man nodded, and said he would take it finally.]

[font "tampus sans itc" He watched as the woman closed the door behind her, before he lifted the phone out of it's cradle. [#FFA500 "Good afternoon Prime Minister Jones. How can I help you?"] he asked. He knew he was laying it on thick, but at the moment he didn't care. He wanted to get this phone call over with. The Prime Minister wasn't always that willing to talk. He sighed lightly as he leaned back into the chair. [b "I'm just wondering why you haven't taken any of my calls until today."] he snapped, making the man wince slightly.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#FFA500 "I've been dealing with a lot as of late. As you remember my parents just passed away, and everything at the office has been eating my time up."]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#FFA500 "I've been thinking about that a lot lately, and as of right now, I don't think I'll be coming out there anytime soon. The business here needs me, and I can't just up and leave like I wanted too"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Or is that your way of saying you aren't coming period? You've been getting everyone's hopes up over here. You need to pack your things, and leave in the week. I'm booking your flight right now, and I will not take a no any longer"] click... Malachi just sat there, the phone beeping in his ear. What the hell just happened? He sighed lightly placing the phone down. Did that really just happen? He sighed as he rubbed his face a bit.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He didn't know how to even bring this up to his brother's. He didn't want to leave, but he had no choice in the matter now. He stood and gathered up his things. [#FFA500 "Heather, I'm leaving for the afternoon. I'm not taking any phone calls at home, so please make sure everyone know's that"] he said, as he walked out of the office. [#ff00ff "I'll try too, have a good rest of the day"] the woman called. He nodded lightly as he made his way to the parking garage.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He walked to his car, slid inside and started it up. He pulled out of the parking spot, and headed towards the park. He didn't know what to even do now. As he drove his mind went back to the phone call he had. He knew he had to let his brother's know, but right now he had to gather his thoughts. He pulled into the parking lot of the park, parked his car and climbed out. He then moved over to the play ground and sat on a swing. He started pushing himself back and forth.]

[font "tempus sans itc" This was going to be a long ass day, and it still wasn't over yet.]

[font "tempus sans itc" Hunter let out a small moan as he rolled over and felt another body against his side. A small smile passed over his lips, as he wrapped his arms around the slender waist. He pulled the woman against his chest, and buried his nose into his hair. He took a deep breath and sighed again. [#b4c8ee "It's time to wake up"] he said lightly. A small moan passed though the woman's lips as she rolled onto her side, and locked her eyes on his. [b "Do we really have to?"] she whined, as she tangled herself around him.]

[font "tempus sans itc" She managed to flip him onto his back, and she was on top of him. They were both nude, and the night before had been amazing. The pleasure, the sounds she made. He didn't even remember her name either. [#b4c8ee "Yes we kinda do. I have to get home before my brother's freak out on me"] he admitted. The woman shook her head lightly, as she leaned down and pressed her lips against his. She pulled back and giggled a little. [b "Do you really have too? You can stay here in bed all day"] she offered.]

[font "tempus sans itc" The offer was tempting, but he knew he couldn't. He sighed lightly as he drew her down and kissed her again. [#b4c8ee "I can't stay, I have to go"] he said as he lifted her up and off of him. He then climbed out of the bed, and found his clothes. The woman sighed and rolled her eyes. [b "Honestly, if you walk out that door right now you will never see me again"] she snapped. Damn, she was demanding. Hunter looked over his shoulder and shrugged a bit as he got dressed.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#b4c8ee "Honestly, I don't care if I ever see you again. I only wanted you for the sex, and I got what I wanted. So it's time for me to leave"] he said with a smirk. The hurt look on her face was enough for him. He grabbed his shoes, sat on the edge of the bed to put them on. When he tied them, he stood and pulled his shirt on. [b "Is that really how you treat every woman you sleep with? Like she's a fucking whore?"] she snapped as she wrapped the sheet around herself.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#b4c8ee "No this isn't how I always treat them. I'm always gone the night of. I never wake up beside a woman, because that's just how I roll. Honestly, because you are such a whiner it's making me feel sick to my stomach. That's why I'm leaving"] he snapped back. The woman grabbed a vase off the side table, and threw it at him. He ducked it, flipped her off and walked out of the room. [b "You are a fucking man whore!"] she screamed at his back. That made the male smirk even more.]

[font "tempus sans itc" The male knew he was a man whore, and he didn't need her yelling that at him to remind him. He wanted to turn around and smack her. He was somewhat a gentleman though. He would never raise a hand to a woman. He wasn't like all of those other assholes in the world. He sighed a bit as he opened the front door, and walked out of the apartment. He was kind of regretting even staying as long as he did. He walked down the hall, and out the front door. He found his car, unlocked it and climbed inside.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He started the car and pulled out of the parking spot. He then got his bearings, and then headed towards the highway. He didn't realize he had come out this far. He smirked a bit wondering if the woman had her car or not. If she didn't, she was shit outta luck on that one. He shook his head lightly and headed back home. He would need to make a stop and get something to eat though. He needed to gather his thoughts, and really think about what's happening with his life.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He laughed at himself, as he rolled down the windows, turned up the volume and just let himself drive. He didn't know if it would be worth going home. He shook his head, as he let the drive take his mind off of things. Pretty soon he was at his turn off, and he pulled into the parking lot of a Denny's. He shut the car off, climbed out and went inside. He got a table, and a waitress gave him a menu. He looked her up and down and smirked a bit. Maybe she would be his tonight.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He wasn't in the mood to really think about that. He looked the menu over, placed his order, and then leaned back against the booth. He put his hands on his stomach, and waited for his food to arrive. His mind did go back to the woman he had slept with she was a spit fire, but he was glad he didn't have to deal with her anymore. He looked around the small place, and people watched as he waited for his food.]

[font "tempus sans itc" Boxes were everywhere. It was moving day, and it was the last thing Andrew wanted at the moment. He had just gotten his heart shattered by the one person he thought wouldn't want to hurt him. He had given the woman six years of his life, and for what? Just to have his heart ripped out, stomped on, and to find out she had been cheating on him all along. He had been so blind, that he didn't even want to believe the signs he had been seeing. He shook his head and looked up when the front door opened.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Andrew? Are you here?"] Star called out. Andrew sighed, and looked back into the box he was working on. [#4f9c63 "I'm in our bedroom"] he called back. He knew he should change his wording, but he didn't care. Not anymore. This was still their room, and she still had his heart. There wasn't a day that wouldn't go by, that he wouldn't miss her. [b "I thought you would have been gone by now"] she said as she walked into the room, a couple coffee's in her hands. She walked over and handed him a cup.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#4f9c63 "I figured I'd get all my shit out"] he said as he took the cup. She smiled lightly, as she sat down on the bed. [b "That's how you always are though. Wanting to get things done"] she said lightly. That's when the silence washed over them. She lifted the cup to her lips, and then looked around the room. [b "It's going to be weird when this place sells"] she breathed. That made Andrew's heart skip a beat. She really was thinking about selling the place, and he didn't blame her.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#4f9c63 "It'll be sad, but it just means that you'll be able to fuck anyone you want, anywhere you want"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Will you please not be like that? I told you how sorry I was.. What more do you want me to say?"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#4f9c63 "Oh I don't know. That you are done sleeping around, and that you want to work on things with us. We were supposed to be making our family"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Andrew, things change. People change, and so do feelings. I didn't want to hurt you, but I knew if I didn't tell you, it would hurt you even more. I'm not in love with you anymore. We jumped into things when we were still in high school, and I knew it wasn't going to work"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#4f9c63 "It honestly feels like you didn't want it to work. You weren't home, and when you were, it felt like you weren't. So just because we were together in High School, doesn't mean it wouldn't have worked. You just didn't want to work on shit"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Andrew please.. This is hard on us both. I do care about you, but I won't be in love with you again"] she said lightly. That's when they both fell silent again. Andrew just sat there, and he shook his head. [#4f9c63 "You are wrong"] he breathed. He then placed the cup on the side table, taped up the box, and then he was ready to go. He didn't even say anything else to her. There wasn't anything to say. He was tired of the abuse from her, the lies, and the fact she didn't love him, tore him apart.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Andrew, please say something. I don't want to leave things like this"] she pleaded with him. He shook his head, as he looked back towards her. [#4f9c63 "There's nothing more to say. You made up your mind, and are so willing to let someone who loves you more than anyone go. What should I say?"] he snapped. He bent down and picked up the boxes and carried them out of the bedroom. He only had three boxes total, and that was it. Everything else of his had been moved out during the week. He didn't need anything more.]

[font "tempus sans itc" Star on the other hand, just sat there. She shook her head lightly and looked down at her hands in her lap. [b "I guess you are right"] she said lightly. Andrew didn't say anything more as he walked down the hallway, and out the front door. He took his things to the beat up truck, and placed them in the bed. He then climbed into the drivers seat, started the truck and looked back towards the house. This was the last time he would ever see it. He cocked his head, when he saw Star standing there.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He hoped she would realize what she had done. That she lost the one person who loved her, and that she would be hurt in the end. He shook his head lightly as he pulled away from the curb, and headed into town. His brother's were expecting him home soon, so he stopped at a bar, parked in a spot and walked inside. He might as well get shit faced drunk. No one would even care. He walked over to the counter, took a seat and ordered a couple drinks.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He hoped that these would numb the pain in his heart, and he hoped that he could find another woman sometime soon, but right now he just needed the drinks and the pain to leave his heart.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Shawn? Can you come in here please?"] the sound of Rosa's voice sent shivers down Shawn's body. She was beautiful, had legs for days, and she was at least ten years older than he was. He sighed as he dropped his sketch pad down, and stood. [#BD283C "What is it Rosa?"] he asked as he walked to the bedroom. She was laying on the bed wearing close to nothing. He took one look at her, and he nearly attacked her, and pleased her till she screamed. That would have been a good idea, but he stayed where he was.]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "I need you to help me choose what to wear tonight. Daniel is taking me out to dinner, and out on the town"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#BD283C "Why the hell do you need me to help you with that? You know how I feel about you going out with other men"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Oh Shawn darling, you and I aren't really a thing. You are too young for me. Yes you are amazing in bed, but that's all you will be to me. I don't need someone like you, I need a man like Daniel"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [#BD283C "Then why keep me around? Why keep me for the bedroom romp? If that's all I am to you, then why don't you let me go and you can have whomever you want"]]

[font "tempus sans itc" [b "Do you really think that Shawn? Or darling, you are free to leave whenever you want too. I'm not stopping you"] she said lightly as she looked up towards him. Her eyes drew him in, and it made him weak. That's all he would ever be to her. Just a good fuck, and that's it.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He shook his head lightly, as he turned and walked out of the room. [b "Where are you going?"] she called as she scrambled off the bed and ran out of the room. [b "You can't leave me. You know you'll be nothing without me. It's because of me, you've become the man you are today"] she cooed lightly. Shawn spun around, and glared at her. [#BD283C "Yeah, you might have taught me a couple things, but that doesn't matter. I'm done being your sex toy"] he snapped, seeing the look of pain in her eyes.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He gathered up his sketch pad and pencils. He put them into his back pack, and then he was ready to go. He gave her the bird, and walked out of the house. He didn't need her anymore. The person he needed was Meghan though. He needed his best friend. He pulled out his phone, scrolled to her number and sent her a text. [#BD283C [i Meghan, what are you doing? Will you meet me at the mall? Rosa and I got into it, and I need a friend right now.]]]

[font "tempus sans itc" He read the message over a couple times, and then hit send. He didn't care if it sounded like he was begging. He needed his best friend. He walked to his beetle and threw his things inside. He climbed in, started up the car and pulled away from the curb. He turned on his Skillet CD, and headed to the mall. He didn't want to go home yet. It was still early in the day, and he just needed some alone time. He would bring everything up to his brother's later. Then again they had their own issues to deal with.]

[font "tempus sans itc" The moment that the mall came into view he pulled into the parking lot, parked under some trees and then took the long walk inside. The walk helped clear his head a little bit, and then he pulled out his phone to see if Meghan had messaged him back. Nothing yet. He sighed a bit, as he sent her another message. [#BD283C [i If you do show up, I'm going to be in the book store. Need some new sketch books, and books for school.]] and hit send. He slid his phone back into his pocket.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He walked towards the bookstore and went inside. One of the workers smiled as he walked in. [b "If you need anything, please come and ask"] she called. The male nodded lightly as he went straight to where he needed to be. He started scanning the books he was needing, and then pretty soon he had two sketch books. He then went to find the ones he needed for classes on Monday. He sighed lightly wondering if Meghan would even show her face or not. He wouldn't blame her if she didn't. He had been brushing her off.]

[font "tempus sans itc" He shook his head at himself, and then went back to looking though the books trying to find the ones he needed.]
