Amy was a bit surprised at when Zoro grabbed her wrist but when he mouthed nightfall a smile returned to her lips before nodding then heading off to find Robin.
When she finally found the woman she stood in front of her trying to figure out what to say. "Uhm..."
Robin lifted her head and smiled. "Can I help you Amy?"
Amy nodded. "Can you help train me on how to dodge?"
Robin was a little surprised but nodded. "Of course." She set her book down with a smile. "Ready to start now?"
Amy smiled with a nod. "Yes ma'am. Don't go easy on me."
Robin nodded, "I wouldn't even think about it."
As the two helped Amy's training she managed to dodge quite well a few times she would fall but she'd ignore the slight pain in her leg and get up to continue. And her dodges still looked graceful as ever.
Sanji nodded before squeezing her hand. "I promise you won't get hurt as long as I'm here."
Eli frowned at his comment, the memory of burning flesh crossing her mind. "It's not the flame that scares me. It's what the flame can do." She shook the memory from her head quickly but didn't let go of how hand. "L-lets try one more time."
Zoro caught Amy's wrist just as she passed him in the doorway. Though he had recommended Robin, he stop planned on training her as promised. He mouthed something about nightfall then released her and turned back to Chopper. "Thanks Chopper."
Sanji snickered as he helped her up. "No dove it doesn't hate you. It just doesn't know you yet." He kissed her temple. "Of you want to learn how to cook, you can't be afraid of the flame." He smiled softly.
Amy frowned as she kicked her legs slightly as she say on the bed. "Fine... I'll go talk to her..." She stood up after Chopper bandaged her leg and sighed. [i So much for him training me...] She headed out the door to find Robin.
"Yeah but I bet you didn't see the kitchen on fire your first day would even touching the stove." Eli walked over to the object in question and stated stared at it. [I I swear this thing hates me.] She leaned closer to it only to have it shoot a pic of smile at it resulting in her screaming and falling on her butt. "See! The stove hates me!"
"Could probably have her reason with Robin." Zoro looked at Chopper, "She would have better luck showing her how to dodge with her extra limbs as an obstacle course."
Amy looked frantic for a moment. "Please don't make me stop training."
Chopper shook his head. "As long as you're more careful then you can still train. But no more using Usopp's prototypes until you get the basic dodging down."
Amy sighed as she looked down. "Fine..."
Sanji chuckled as he looked at Eli. "Don't worry dove. Mistakes happen. I didn't become a good chef overnight."
"I'm sorry," Eli watched as Sanji put out the fire, her hands cupped in front of her. "Maybe this was a bad idea?" She looked at the stove and though she was pouting, she was glaring at it. "Or the stove hates me."
"Especially when using any prototypes that Usopp has." Sorry leaned against the frame and watched as Chopper patched Amy up. "Can she still put weight on it?"
Amy sighed softly as Zoro had put her on the bed. "I told you I'm fine..."
Chopper looked over the cut and nodded. "It wasn't deep. But you should be more careful when you train."
Amy sighed. "I know... It was an accident..."
Sanji had thought things were going well until the kitchen was in fire. He quickly put out the flames and chuckled softly. "Teaching you might be harder than I thought... The stove wasn't even on and it caught on fire."
Zoro flexed a bit while maintaining eye contact with Amy. "She was training with Usopp's prototypes. Well, training with her clone." He set her down in the bed so that chopper could get a better view of the injury.
Eli did as instructed and was surprised at how easily she got into the got into the floe of it. "Okay so maybe I'm worried for no reason." Again, that would be sooner thing she would soon regret as only a short while later, the kitchen was, on fact, on fire.
At Zoro's reaction Amy felt a little relieved that he brushed it off. But when he picked her up bridal style she had to coach her mind to not feel up his chest. [i Stop thinking about a younger man like this!]
When they reached the sick bay Chopper turned around and saw how red Amy's face was and then noticed the blood on her leg. "Oh dear, Amy do you feel sick? Your face looks like your burning up." Chopper asked as he stood up.
Amy internally groaned as the mention of her blushing. "N-No... I'm fine It's just a little scratch."
Sanji chuckled softly. "We won't let it get to that." He started giving her instructions on how to prep each of the ingredients. First by washing the potatoes and peeling them followed by washing the other vegetables and cutting them accordingly.
"If the kitchen catches fire," Eli put and apron on, "I take full responsibility." Sure the cooking lessons were her idea but in truth, she'd never cooked before. Her talents were more in, anything but cooking. She looked back at the recipe then at Sanji, "Just tell me what to do oh great chef."
"Do I?" Zoro did a quick check of himself then looked back at Amy. "Relax." He finally released her leg and as predicted, the bleeding had stopped. "Let's get you to Chopper so he can take care of that." He picked Amy up bridal style, not giving her a choice in the matter, and returned to the main deck. "Chopper, she hurt herself."
Amy's face turned bright red when Zoro started laughing. "D-Don't laugh!" She puffed out her cheeks with a sigh. "It's not my fault you have a nice body." When she realized what she had said was not something she kept in her mind she felt her face get hotter and was pretty sure she was a beakon of light at this point. [i Someone please kill me to end this embarrassment...]
Sanji smiled when he heard her giggle. "There's my girl." He kissed her forehead with a smile. "Enough of this sad business. We have some lunch to cook." He winked. "And don't worry dove. I promise."
"You better not." At the kisses she started to giggle because as always, his goatee tickled. "H-hey! Cut it out, we're supposed to be cooking." Out of habit she leaned against him, allowing him to envelope her. "Promise," she whispered, [I I don't want to go back to life without you.]
Zoro frowned as he processed the jumbled words and his mouth twitched. "You get distracted even if I have it on." At that point he was laughing, not sure if he should feel insulted or flattered at her confession.
Amy's face turned red when Zoro mentioned there was something else she was hiding. "T-T-That's..." She felt her face getting warmer and warmer with every second and she was pretty sure by this point her ears were either red or her face was glowing. She took a deep breath before releasing then in one quick sentence she spit out. "Whenyouhaveyourshirtoffitsdistracting."
Sanji frowned more but this time he walked over to Eli and wrapped his arms around her. "Eli... I'm too stubborn to die. I promise I'm not going anywhere." He gently kissed her neck as he held her close.
"Anything for me," Eli replied as she watched Sanji, "That's what's scary. Because anything includes dying and is never forgive myself if you died for me."
"You can still be a princess and know how to fight," Zoro chuckled, "Our friend Vivi is a good example." He listened to her concerns, but didn't let up on his grip. He was using the pressure to stop the bleeding from her leg. "What else are you hiding? And I know your hiding something because you won't look at me."
Amy winced slightly when Zoro's hand gripped her leg. Her eyes widened as she looked at him. "I-I..." Her face started to turn red once again as she saw his shirt off. She tried to not stare at his chest and she tried to focus on his face but that only made her face turn more red. She tried to open her mouth to say something but the words would get caught in her throat. She looked down at his hand. "I'm... Trying to get stronger... I got so mad at you for calling me a princess... That I made the stupidest choice I've ever made in my life. But you were right. I was a princess. I had no fighting skill, no confidence... When you guys gave me the chance to come back i didn't want to make the same mistake... I don't want to be a princess... I want to be someone who you can depend on in a fight to watch your back... Instead of being just extra baggage."
Sanji frowned slightly. "Why is it scary dove?" He turned around and grabbed the ingredients from the cupboards.
