"We left one of them alive," Zoro replied. He listened to what she said and nodded a bit, remembering her performance. "You looked like you were enjoying yourself until that last song. You looked beautiful, even if you were disguised." He hated those women for what they did to Amy but he was also grateful, because they made her do something she ended up loving. Something that made her happy.
Amy smiled. "Zoro, hun." She looked up at him putting her hand on his cheek. "You aren't looking at the overall picture." She gently ran her thumb over his cheek. "They can't ever hurt me again. And for that, I'm truly grateful. I no longer will get whipped if I mess up on a note or a dance move. I can play freely and learn how to fight back. Maybe even use some of my dance skills in combat." She teased with a giggle.
Zoro held the back in her head, "But what they did to you." He shifted Amy so she was more in his lap, his arms still around her. "When she talked, I could hear her joy while feeling you shaking." He ran his fingers through her hair and watched as the strands fell back down. "I'm sorry."
Amy chuckled softly. "You weren't the only ones who lost hope. I thought I was going to have to live like that for the rest of my life. The only time I ever felt at peace... Strangely enough, was when I played the violin." When he said he would train her she smiled. "I'll have to train my devil fruit on my own though..." She looked up at Zoro but then felt him pull her into a hug. She smiled softly before hugging him back. "Please don't blame yourself." She whispered as she hugged him gently running her fingers through his hair.
When Eli grabbed his tie and moved her hair so the suit was wet he chuckled softly. "Well, no point in wearing a wet suit."
"Well," Zoro sighed at what he was about to admit, "She never stopped. Everyone else, including myself began to lose hope and stopped." He hated himself for giving up, now knowing what Amy went through. Would they have found her sooner if everyone tried as much as Eli? "I'll train you if that's what you want." He gently pulled Amy into a hug, "I'll never let anyone hurt you again."
Eli started laughing, "Silly man." Her back arched a bit at feeling how cold his hands were despite being under hot running water. "Your hands are ice!" As revenge she pulled on his tie, yanking him closer. "You know," she used her free have to brush her wet hair over her shoulder, "I don't think I want to wait until later."
Amy's eyes widened. "B-But... That festivial was a year and a half ago... Surely you didn't search that long." But when she saw the look in his eyes she frowned and gently took his hand in hers. "I... I left because I was scared... And uncertain. I had a nightmare that caused me to mistrust you all... But I see now how wrong I was..." She sighed softly before leaning against him. "I'm sorry. I know I'm a pain to train. But, would you be willing to teach me again... I think I found a new confidence... Deep down I know It's there it just has to shine through the scars."
Sanji chuckled when he heard her giggle and continued before feeling her shift. He looked up at her and smirked as his hands rested on her lower back. "Oh you mean these?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
"No," Zoro replied as he say down next to her, "But I could have gone after you or stayed until you woke up." He let out a deep sigh, his gaze avoiding her, afraid he might see blame in her eyes. "We searched for you for a week when you left. Then at the festival, Eli tried to find you after you ran. She used the stars to find you. We never stopped looking."
"H-hey," Eli squirmed, "That tickles." It was mostly his beard brushing against her soon that tickled. She shifted in Sanji's arms until she was fully facing him, legs wrapped around him. "I love you too. You and your," she giggled, "swirly eyebrows."
Amy watched as he entered the room and he instantly apologized. She smiled softly and shook her head. "I didn't really give you much of a chance too." She scooted over a bit before tapping the bed near her offering for him to sit.
Sanji's smile faded as he listened to her beat herself up more. "Eli..." He gently kissed her shoulder as he held her close. "I love you."
"Most people also have common sense." Eli rolled her eyes before listening to him and sighing. "I know but," she hung her head, "It doesn't matter what I say. You'll tell me I'm amazing and I'll end up defeated before you're right." She held up her hand and looked at it, blood no longer present, "Strange, I don't remember even thinking about running her through."
Chopper waited until Amy was changed better opening the door. "She's ready to see you," he said before walking away.
Zoro entered the room soon after and looked at Amy. He could still read her fear and it caused him to frown. "I should have apologized that day," he said, "You wouldn't have left otherwise."
Amy did as she was told and took off her performance outfit and out on the gown Chopper left on hand. "I want to see him too..." She murmured softly while pushing it her hair behind her ear.
Sanji shrugged. "Most people don't have an amazingly talented and beautiful girlfriend." He kissed her cheek softly. "But joking aside.. You can't blame yourself for this dove. If not for you working yourself to the bone this past year and a half we never would have found her. But we did, because you're amazing."
"Oh dear." Chopper finished his exam, "I'll go see if i can get you some countable clothes. For more why don't you put this on." He handed her one of the dressing gown he kept on hand. "I know Zoro wants to see you."
"But what she went through," Eli continued to cry, "It's not right. If only I'd thought to use the stars earlier. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad." It only took another second bene she realized he was still fully dressed and they were sitting under running water. "Normal people undress before getting in the shower," she teased.
Amy looked down. "A-Almost every time. A few times they... Whipped... You know..." She twiddle her thumbs before sighing softly.
Sanji sighed softly as he walked over and gently rubbed her back before pulling her to his lap so He could get to make her smile. "We got her back love."
"Y-yeah," Eli replied. The tears didn't stop though, not while she continued to think about what Amy went through. [I Did they brand her too?]
"That would explain your moving shadow." Chopper began the examination, careful where he touched. Most of her body was covered in scars and after hearing what Ava had done, he was worried about her sexual parts as well. "How often did they use the whip on you during sexual activities?" His eyes flicked to the door when he saw movement, [I Zoro?]
Amy smiled softly as she leaned against Zoro. "I shouldn't have run off the way I did either... I'm sorry too..."
Once they were back at the sunny and Chopper was examining her Amy sighed softly and frowned while nervously twiddling her thumbs. "They never abused my face. Most of the lashings were on my back and my legs and arms. Mainly my legs to make it harder for me to run if I was ever given the chance." She looked down at the scars on her arms and frowned as tears came to her eyes. "I-I think a lot of the pain was psychological... I'm not sure if that will ever heal." She pushed her hair behind her ear before sighing softly. "But... they also made me eat the Ink-Ink fruit." She looked over at Chopper with a sad smile.
Sanji heard feint crying coming from the bathhouse and gently opened the door while knocking. "Dove, is it okay if I come in?"
Eli watched as Jessica held onto Ava's lifeless body. "People aren't property." She looked at Sanji and nodded, pulling his jacket tight around her. She watched as Zoro picked Amy up, holding her close and whispering something to her. "I think, if I hadn't done it, Zoro would have."
Zoro held onto Amy, careful not to touch anywhere that could potentially hurt her. "I'm sorry for what I said. I shouldn't have." He kissed her temple as the crew set off back to the Sunny, leaving Jessica behind. Once back at the ship he brought her below deck to sick bay where Chopper did an examination.
"If anything hurts ir there is somewhere you don't want me to touch," Chopper looked at Amy, "Tell me. I want to do a full examination but not if it makes you uncomfortable."
Eli stood in the shower washing off Ava's blood. She couldn't recall fully what happened, just hearing the word [I property]. She remembered what Ava had admitted doing to Amy and started crying. "How can someone be so cruel?" How she reacted and the way she killed Ava, was a kindness to the world.
