Zoro seemed distracted after breakfast so Amy decided to go up to the crows nest and train herself with her devil fruit instead. She created a clone then an idea had popped into her head. "Usopp." She rushed out of the crows nest and down to his factory where he was working on something. She knocked on the door and smiled softly. "Hey... Usopp... I have a favor to ask."
Usopp lifted his goggles and looked over at Amy with a small smile. "Sure Amy, what's up?"
"Can you make me something? And do you have prototypes of weapons you've made that you aren't using?"
Eli didn't respond as she had quickly fallen back to sleep.
While Amy worked on breakfast, Zoro was outside talking to Luffy. They were discussing what had happened the night before. What they heard. What they witnessed. What Eli had done. When Ava was the through, the closest person to Eli, was Luffy. "So she was dazed?"
"Uh huh," Luffy nodded, "Her eyes were glazed over and everything."
Zoro crossed his arms, "Maybe we should tell Chopper."
"Heeey so where did you sleep last night?"
"That's where I fell asleep. Amy and I were talking."
Amy chuckled. "Let Sanji sleep. I'll make us some breakfast. I can't lose my touch of I ever plan on marrying again." She joked before walking into the kitchen. Since Sanji was taller he tended to use the top shelves for ingredient storage. Amy sighed as she saw where the powdered sugar was. "It would be on the top shelf." She climbed up on the counter top and stood there as she gathered what she needed from the cupboards.
Sanji had heard Amy's response to Luffy's whining and sighed softly. "Thanks Amy." He whispered before running his fingers through Eli's hair and holding her closer. "Looks like you have me all morning dove."
Zoro raised a brow when he heard part of Amy's assumption. "Don't know what you were thinking but she's more like a sister." He listened to her defend the couple below and shook his head, more so because he agreed but didn't want anyone to know.
"Sanji!! I'm hungry," Luffy yelled as he emerged from below deck.
"We heard you," Zoro replied.
Amy's eyes widened when Zoro said they had been together almost two years. "Wait but... Weren't you two..." Her face turned red when she realized she had made a very grave assumption. When he spoke again she shook her head trying to calm herself. "No, no it's fine. If what you said is true... How she wouldn't stop looking for me... She likely worked herself to exhaustion like the marines did to her... So now that she doesn't have to look they're probably trying to catch up on lost time... I mean that's just a guess of course." She chuckled softly. "I used to be a housewife. I can cook." She headed towards the kitchen after hearing Luffy complain again.
Sanji chuckled as he stroked her hair.
"Yeah, cuddly," Zoro chuckled until he realized that Amy didn't know about them. "They've been together for almost two years now."
Eli giggled, "They won't fire you. Your food is too good." She waited until he was laying down again before cuddling with him again. "You're warm."
Zoro looked at Amy, "You don't have to. Eyebrows can stop cuddling his girlfriend long enough to make breakfast. He skipped out on coming yesterday because she wanted to nap."
"Maybe he's with Eli, they seem cuddly." Amy suggested as she tapped her feet slightly before doing a few dances then giggling. "It's so nice to not hear chains when I do that..."
Sanji sighed softly. "Alright. But then I gotta go cook Dove. I don't want to get fired."
There was a loud slam followed by the familiar voice. "I'm hungry!"
Amy chuckled. "Well, if Sanji's too busy cuddling I can whip up something for breakfast. It's been awhile since I made pancakes."
"Can't you stay a little longer," Eli asked as she opened her eyes, "Please?" She reached out and place her hand over his with a sleepy smile.
"We can train after breakfast." Zoro looked at where the sun was sitting and then to the kitchen door. "I'm surprised Eyebrows isn't up yet. He's usually one of the first two up." He thought about what she said about a new violin and got an idea. [I Maybe Franky could make something?]
Amy heard a voice behind her and smiled as she spun around. "I would hope I'm back. Otherwise it would be a dream and I wouldn't want to wake up from this." She looked back out to the sea. "Its been awhile since I've seen the sea in daylight. It makes me want to play." She turned and grinned back at Zoro. "Next island I need to get a new violin. I finally found something I enjoy. And it's a wonderful feeling." She spun in her dress soaking up the sunshine and the breeze. "I never knew how much I'd miss the little things."
After looking out at the sea she smiled. "So when can we start my training. You can call me princess all you want but one day I'll be able to kick your ass." She grinned as she turned around to look at the swordsman.
Sanji felt Eli shift in his arms and sighed softly before stroking her hair. [i Still tired from yesterday.] He chuckled softly before kissing her forehead then sitting up. "Luffy will be waking up soon... I'd best her started on breakfast."
Zoro shifted when he no longer felt Amy next to him. In a panic, thinking it was all just a dream, he will sat up and looked around. "Sick bay," he muttered, "So it wasn't a dream." Getting up he headed to the main deck when he found Amy looking out at the sea. "So you really are back?"
Eli shifted a little in hey sleep, snuggling closer to the source of warmth next to her. She couldn't bring herself to wake up. Her body was still feeling the effects of last night's without and if she didn't have to move, she wouldn't.
Amy woke up the following morning and smiled softly as she saw who had been laying with her. "Big softy." She murmured before gently rubbing her thumb across his cheek. She saw the change of clothes at the end of the bed and carefully wiggled her way out of Zoro's arms so she wouldn't wake him. She looked at the outfit Chopper had left her and smiled softly before taking off her gown then stretching before putting on the outfit Chopper had brought her. She walked out of the room and walked out to the top deck. She smiled as she felt the breeze blow through her hair. "This would be a great time to play." She frowned slightly. "I'm going to have to get a new violin..." She pondered before braiding her hair.
During the course of their conversation, Zoro had laid down next to Amy. He continued to hold her, until they fell asleep. He hadn't even heart Chopper re-enter the room, nor his comment about leaving clothes for Amy. Had he missed her that much? Enough to completely let his guard down without having told her how he felt? "I promise," he muttered in his sleep.
After he spoke and smiled softly but then she felt him kiss the top of her head. Her cheeks flushed slightly before she leaned against him thinking of what to say. "Has your dancing gotten any better?" She asked with a tease remembering the Star festival. "Maybe I can teach you if you teach me to fight. Or spar with me to see if I can dodge now." She smiled up at him her cheeks still slightly flushed.
"We won't force you." Zoro inhaled sharply at her confession, "I missed you too." He could tell that she had found calmed down sense she was no longer shaking in his arms. [I I wonder if there is a way to erase the trauma.] He wanted her to be happy again, to smile. It had been almost two years since the last time that he saw that smile of hers. Tilting his head down, he kissed the top of her head, "I missed you too."
Amy smiled happily. "I'm just happy I get to play it when I want to now. Instead of being forced to practice for shows. Maybe I can do little shows for you guys." She giggled before resting her head on his chest. "Zoro..." She hugged him a little tighter. "I really missed you."
