He nodded in understanding, then he remembered that the Manta Maria was still open to the public as a relaxation spot. “What about the Manta Maria? I’ve heard that they aren’t having many Turf Wars on board, so they have it as a relaxation place for now.” He said, smiling a bit since he was always up for some r&r
"You've...been to Octo Canyon before?" The female asked gently, and curiously. "I didn't know that any Inklings went there for enjoyment. Although it isn't safe in the deeper areas, I do believe that the outer edges are quite calm. But...it has been a long time since I've been there, I could be completely wrong." Marina explained.
He smiled again and asked her where she wanted to go to just relax and talk, hoping she had some ideas for some good places. “I honestly have heard that Octo Canyon is quite nice this time of year, but I don’t know if it’s safe or not...” he said, trying to remember, his cheeks red
Marina continued to smile towards the male, very happy about the drawing and towards his offer. "Y-yeah, I'd love it if you did that!" She stuttered unintentionally, and knew that Wilson had heard it. However, the Octoling quickly tried to hide the fact that she had stuttered.
He smiled, and rubbed his neck gently as he talked to her. “I’m glad you liked it, it took me a few hours to get it perfect, but it was worth the time to make.” He said, thanking her for the praise about the drawing he did. “I was going to ask if you guys wanted me to come up with any new designs for your show next time you get a splatfest.” He said, and remembered that the next splatfest would take place in a few weeks.
"Do not worry about it, I understand. It's all fine." Marina replied, chuckling gently as she smiled towards the male. "So...thanks for that art you sent me and Pearl, I really appreciate it." The Octoling said happily.
He apologized for making her wait, because he got back from a turf war at Moray Towers when he saw her. “I didn’t want you to see me all messy, because I prefer to be presentable when I’m around people I know.” He explained, once again apologizing for making her wait.
Marina had been waiting for a rather long amount of time compared to what her patience stretched out to, but luckily it paid off when she noticed the male Inkling approach her. "Oh, thank goodness. I thought I wasn't going to find you around here." The Octoling chuckled.
He grabbed his phone after he took off to his house, wanting to take a shower because he just got done with a turf war at Moray Towers. And as soon as he got home, he took off all his clothes and got into the shower, cleaning up himself, and When he finished, he grabbed a towel, dried off, and then he put on a clean outfit and hurried to the square. When he got there, he approached her, he smiled and said hi
The female Octoling wasn't looking in Wilson's direction, but it's obvious that she was searching for someone. [i I do hope he's around here somewhere.] She thought to herself as she sighed gently, running a hand through her hair before continuing to look around, still not seeing the male Inkling.
Once the match was over, he came back to the square and he decided to go home to clean himself up, since he had splotches of white ink all over his clothes and face. “Man, I look like a mess...” he told himself, and looked around at the people around him, waving hello and saying hi to the people he recognized. When he turned to look towards where he was going, he spotted Marina, and he looked at himself, embarrassed about how messy he looked
Soon enough, Marina and Pearl had finished their Salmon Run shift. Once they were done, Marina said she was going to take the Inkling's advice and go talk to Wilson again. After changing into her casual outfit and then saying goodbye to Pearl, the Octoling walked down the street in hopes of finding him.
Wilson decided to try to win a turf war, so he grabbed the fountain pen weapon and headed to Moray Towers. “Let’s see how much I can cover...” he told himself, and soon the match began, and after about five minutes, his team won the match. “boo-yah!” He shouted with his teammates
"Come on, let's work a Salmon Run shift now that we've finished the news show!" Pearl insisted, as energetic as ever, grabbing her friend by the arm and dragging her along.
Marina laughed a bit, before running along with the Inkling to Grizzco. "Alright, Pearlie. I did promise you that I'd work a shift with you." The Octoling said.
He smiled when they came on screen, looking at both Pearl and Marina with a big smile on his face, and he soon saw the picture he had drawn for three hours the previous day, and he sat back. “Well whadya know? They love it.” He said to himself, smiling even more than before, and he could tell that they were both in a good mood
