Hitori continued to lay on the ground, crying as her tears froze and snow fell gently all around her. Her memories of her family combined with her already deep sorrow made everything even worse, and the snowfall intensified a bit.
He sighed, realizing that he had made things worse, causing the air to get colder, and snow to start falling. "Great, I just made things a lot worse than before..." he said, and sat down. He never seemed to be able to do anything right, in fact, he always seemed to cause problems.
Hitori looked up when she heard the male say something as he returned. "W-what is it...?" She asked awkwardly as she saw the armpiece, and memories flooded into her mind. Memories of her family, how much fun her life used to be...and then the attack. Her family's bodies spread throughout the town...bloody and mangled...burned beyond recognition. At first, the bird had smiled in joy towards the armpiece. However, once those darker memories had overtaken her, she bursted into tears again and collapsed to the ground as her aura became colder than ever.
The fox rummaged through the collapsing home, and had found what appeared to be an arm piece. "Maybe this will help..." he told himself, then he hurried back out, and his fur began to turn white again as he got closer to the bird. "Hitori...I believe this is yours..." he said, holding the arm piece out for her to see.
Hitori didn't hear the male whisper to himself, nor did she ever notice that he walked over to her home. Her tears continued to freeze as they came out of her eyes, and fell onto the ground with light pattering noises.
He sighed and he looked around. "There has to be some way for her to trust me..." he whispered to himself, not sure how to do so. He looked around more, and noticed her home was still slightly intact, and he quickly headed in that direction, hoping to find something that was of value for her to reclaim.
Before Senshi could say anything else, the bird was back on her hands and knees as she was crying again. It was obvious that her emotions for her lost home and people were influencing how she acted greatly. She didn't want to be so rude to the male, but she couldn't help it...she just couldn't help it...
"I never said that you did, I am stating that most tribes you will encounter are in fact savage, but I am not, as for the question I asked, I did not intend to make you upset, I was merely asking..." he said, wuite unhappy that she was being rude once more.
The female made an awkwardly annoyed sound as she turned her head in the opposite direction. "I never said everyone was a savage, if you'd listen correctly." She stated with a frown, before hearing Senshi's next question. Her aura then seemed to increase in intensity, as she seemed more angry. "Why should it matter to you? It shouldn't be that hard to tell that I'm an ice mage..." Hitori said strongly, as she turned back towards the male fox.
"I can understand your sorrow and pain, but not all of us are like the savages you will find in the world..." he said, looking for anything that he could do to make her more pleasant than she currently was. "What are you? A spell caster?" He asked, referring to the icy aura around her, which had made his fur go white, but it only did that during the winter
The bird listened to Senshi, and nodded in understanding as she looked towards the footprints upon the ground. "Fair enough...I apologize for my rudeness..." She said with a long, drawn out sigh. Her aura was still as cold as ever, and any tears escaping from her eyes froze into ice before they were even close to hitting the ground. "My name is Hitori Usasha..." She said very gently.
The fox looked at the ground and saw there were several types of footprints, but none of his species. "Look at the prints in the ground, none are that of my kind..." he said, his fur completely white from the cold she was giving off.
"Or you are a scout who was sent back here to see if anyone survived...such as myself..." By now, it almost seemed like small ice crystals were glimmering and circling the female, as she continued to wait for a suitable answer as true proof of Senshi's innocence.
He growled out of slight frustration. "Listen, if I were one of the people who did this, I would have come with more than just myself." He told her, his fur beginning to turn white because of how cold he was. "And another thing...if I were one of them, I would have already tried to get rid of you..."
The bird shook her head, unimpressed by the male's response. Even if he was telling the truth, that was not the kind of answer she was looking for. "That's no proof..." She said gently, but also strongly, as the air around her became even colder than before. Hitori hadn't meant for her aura to seep out with so much power, but it had and she could not help it anymore.
