"Babe!" Jake yelled as he walked down the hall holding out his phone. "Its the wedding venue, they need to talk to you." He sighed and went to talk to Oliver who wasn't happy about being away from his friends but got excited about his party in a few days.
"Okay." Destiny sat down, propping her feet up as she took the laptop in her lap. She looked over everything. It looked fine, he'd be gone for a few weeks. Usually if he want out of the country or if he was gone for months at a time, Destiny would make them let her and Ollie tag along. Destiny knew Jake's manager thought she was a brat, but she didn't care she didnt like Jake leaving.
"Don't worry I ordered a chocolate cake as backup... I didn't think 6 year olds would enjoy raspberry but she wanted to help." Jake said kissing her temple lightly. "I'll go talk to him and I left the upcoming tour schedule by your lap top, I want you to approve it before I give them the green light."
"Yea, well apparently their not within walking distance, so he's mad. Talk to him about it." Destiny made a face when he brought up the filling, "Okay my mom has serious issues. Who puts raspberry filling in a cake?" She shivered, and looked over his shoulder again. "So many things."
"We only moved 20 minutes out of town... he will realize that when his friends are in his class when school starts and when they're all at his party on Sunday... speaking of the party... the bouncy house people will be here to set it up Saturday at 4 so he will have it all to himself for a few hours and his cake I will pick up Saturday night, your mom made it... something about raspberry filling." Jake said scrolling through his to do list. "His big present I just ordered will be here Friday."
"I'll wrestle him into it, or I can just get the top and the jacket and let him wear some nice jeans. Either way. he's going to wear some part of it." Destiny smiled and kissed Jake back. Destiny seemed to be the only one who liked to dress up for anything. Even at the VMA's Ollie wore ripped jeans, while she had dressed up.
"Well, he wasn't happy about moving away from his friends. I think he's still mad, I don't get any cuddles from him anymore."
"Think we will be able to convince him to wear that?" Jake asked skeptical. Oliver only ever wore his jeans or jogger sweats and t shirts.... his style mimiced his father's. "I'm not against it but I think he will fight us both and black it is.... I hope he likes it... I mean I can teach him." He leaned over to kiss her gently.
"I think hes finally adjusted to living in this new house after two months.... and all the boxes are emptied now... we officially live here."
"Black. Do you think they could make it a matte black?" Destiny grabbed his phone, and looked at the guitar. "Hmm... maybe red? I'm not sure. You pick." She handed him his phone back and pulled her's out showing him the little suit she planned on buying Ollie, "Too much?"
"The black one or the red one?" Jake asked showing her the pictures on his phone. "I'll order it today and when it gets here, hide it so he doesn't see it before his party on Sunday."
Destiny had her arms around his shoulders, and looking at the guitars with him, "No. I think he's playing Mario on his 3DS." Ollie's birthday was coming up, and he had been wanting a guitar so he could play with Jake. Oliver had taken up his lover for music and his voice. He had also grown out of his chubbiness and was tall and slender for his age, just like Jake.
Jake knelt down by Oliver and asked, "Can daddy help you little man?" He wanted to help his son but he was just as stubborn as Jake and he was quickly realizing that.
2 years later....
Jake stood in the kitchen scrolling through his phone, "Babe... is Oliver napping?" He was looking at guitars... wanting to get Oliver his own for his 6th birthday coming up soon.
'No, I don't want to cause any trouble. I can ignore them." She smiles at him, before taking his hand and heading over to Oliver with him. "Ollie, hun. Do you need help?" Oliver shook his head and stubbornly tried to pick the pumpkin up again.
Jake shook his head, "Would you like me to ask the owners to tell them to leave... I mean they aren't customers and we are and we are trying to enjoy a day with our son." Jake asked sighing.
"Fine, A week. Then they'd better be gone." She sighed, not liking the idea of being watched. Destiny liked privacy, but for now looks like she wouldn't get any.
"No usually they leave me alone and they're nice about pictures but with Oliver and everyone including me finding out that I have a son... things are a little crazy right now... I give it a week." He said holding her.
