Kneeling at his mother's side, Alucard gazes at her once beautiful features. Shaking his head softly, he tries to forget the life his father has sucked out of her. Hissing low in his throat and taking her hand in his own, he feels her life slowly filling her again. Looking up, he notices the new amulet, an ancient relic. Muttering softly to himself, a small prayer to his gods he knows that a servant will be in soon to care for her. He knows he will be shooed from the room.
The knight saluted him. "I will tell him you are in deep family matter, my sire."
"I do not wish to speak to him." Dracula grumbles at himself.
"When?" Dracula finally asks and faces his loyal messenger.
The knight spoke. "The king of England wishes to speak with you sire..."
"What is it now?," Dracula asks as he makes his way back down the stairs. I takes the letter and quickly scans over the words written in elaborate script.
A nightmare came into the entrance hall and a knight of bone was seated on it, and the knight delivered a message sent by the king of England.
"Ah my son, I was wondering when he would arrive." Knowing that he and his son had had conflicts, Dracula hopes to make things better with him. Hoping to stop his son from hating him and stopping his vampirism.
Alucard opens the door to the once homey mansion-like castle, every wall meant to be warm and inviting. Just trying to be welcoming. Dressed in black and red, Alucard waits for his father to come down the stairs. His hard features matching his father. Side-by-side they look almost identical.
"Dracula," Alucard greets as his father appears before him. "My father,"
Dracula only nods toward his son, making his way and pulling him into his embrace. Naturally, being surprised and confused Alucard starts to pull away. Letting him go Dracula shakes him by the shoulders. Shrugging him off, Alucard stares at him. Being there only for his mother, he really didn't care about his father.
"Please stop this nonsense, I am here for mother." Alucard growls and shoves his way passed his father. Dracula looks sadly down at his hands and watches his son leave.
"Yes, I know." This scene has played in Dracula's mind for a while now, longer than a while perchance, a few hundred years. Turning, Dracula follow his sun up the stairs.
A Werebat entered the room, bowing to her master and mistress. "Lord Dracula, my apologies, but a visitor has arrived, it is Alucard.
Noting the man is gone, Dracula looks around him carefully, after a moment he looks back to his wife. Her fever is going down and her sweat starts to dry on her skin. Her moans dying in her throat. Sitting at he edge of their bed, he watches her.
Before he could see him, Aeon was gone, his pocket watch on the nightstand as a reminder.
"Good, I feel as though I can repair my mistakes. " Dracula smiles and faces him. Looking down at his beautiful wife, he finds that he loves her after all of those years being apart from each other. Looking down slightly, He finally looks back up at Aeon.
Aeon appeared next to her other side. "How does it feel to have a family again Lord Dracula? How does it feel to be a normal man?" He asked diligently.
Finally back to his wife's bedside. Taking her cool hand, he fears her life is slipping from his hands. Softly, he places the amulet around her neck softly. For the first time, he heard her breath easily. Rubbing her hand tenderly with his pale fingers.
She bowed and went up to the higher floors and inhabited the tower room, and made it comfortable to her tastes.
"Have any room you'd like." Dracula smiles as he leads the way up the stairs. Behind him, the staff clean up the dinning hall. Making quick work of the plates and everything.
"If you need anything, feel free to ask anything of the servants."
