Dracula stands and excuses himself from a joyful conversation. "Yes of course." he leads the way into the entrance hall easily. Moving through the halls expertly. He momentarily is distracted by the girl with the dark clothes fleeing from his hall. His eyes narrow slightly.
"How may I help you Glacien?" He asks.
Glacien cleared her throat. "Lord Dracula, may I speak with you in the entrance hall please?"
Seeing her mother talk to Alucard, Nessa groans and moves away from the dinning table. Excusing herself before her mother could pull her into a conversation of fake politeness. Feeling his discomfort, she felt that to save them both she'd run away. Pulling her brown dress up slightly, she steps lightly and fakes sickness.
All nodded around them in agreement, even Alucard. Though his dislike of his father runs deep, he likes to bite his tongue and pick his battles wisely. To his right a young gypsy woman smiles and touches his arm. Stiffing a shudder, he smiles politely at the woman, being pulled into her conversation about his relationship status. Over hearing this, his father cuts in and explains that his son has just returned from the guard. Mentally groaning, he watches his father speak highly of him. Painting his name in gold for him.
Glacien politely took her cup and drank to her friend's wife's health. "May the lady of the castle be blessed with bountiful days and the best of health..." She said in a proud voice.
"I would love to-" He is cut off my his father's booming voice speaking over the table. Glaring at him, he turns his attention toward the man now standing at the head of his table.
"Please, would you all join me in a toast. A celebration has been called here tonight to spread the word of my wife's improving health. A miracle has befallen the castle, please drink to her good health." He father then sits and all sitting at the table rise their glasses and sip from the liquid within their crystal glasses.
"I come from the frozen corners of the world...where the night is long, and the day is short..." She said in a mystical voice.
Alucard smiles at her warmly. "Where are you from, if the question isn't too intrusive." He explains softly and watches her from the corner of his eye.
"I was born with the power over frost and snow..." She said, her eyes captivating him with the icy color.
"Your magic is in frost?" He almost states. Something just to keep the conversation flowing. "Is it born?" He asks asking if she is born with the ability to have ice.
She smiled and took a drink of iced wine. "My personal favorite wine..." She said quietly.
Noticing her icy hand print on the table. He feels his eyebrows rise, magic or some elemental being. Taking a mouthful of food and pushing it passed his lips, he chews softly.
Glacien moved her hand from the table, revealing a patch of frost in the shape of her hand.
"The young madam is called Glacien, she is a wonderful magical being of ice. Beautiful isn't she?" he muses as he watches his son talk to the woman. Apprehension clouding his vision for a slight moment. Return his attention to the half eaten meal before him, he acts for a glass of whine to be brought to him.
Being taken aback slightly by her inhuman eyes, Alucard still shows a calm face.
"Ah, the old man talks. Not surprising, I am his only son. All good I hope." He comments not letting his curiosity get the best of him nor his slight fear.
