This is the story of a girl in a world of magic and destruction. Ripley is a young spellcaster and explorer, in a post-war setting. The land is in ruins, and is slowly being rebuilt by some of the rulers of the world, into kingdoms, but Ripley is determined to explore the Ruins of the old world. She abandons all else, and disappears into the Ruins. Many believe she died... but this is proved wrong when she returns.
However before we get started I would like you to meet my character that I will be using for this role play.

[center [size15 [font "Century Schoolbook" When her hand smoothed over his dirty, dark hair, a smile seemed to light his face up for a moment. The hug was also a surprise. As soon as she embraced him, he couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. His hands tightly gripped the clothing on her back, as he let out a few soft sobs. Sobs of happiness. Sobs of sadness even. His sobs were filled with both. Happiness because Ripley was here and well; sadness, because she had been gone for so long and just decided to pop up again now. Her body curved his perfectly. He had lost a significant amount of weight for the six months Ripley was gone.]]]
[center [size15 [font "Century Schoolbook" Jason soon found himself looking at Ripley's upbeat and violet eyes, getting lost in the memories that soon followed. He was choked up. Anyone would be after seeing someone who they haven't seen for months. His heart raced as, the thumps never letting up. Soft thuds sounding from the inside of his chest cavity. His hands trailed through her thick, luscious hair as they embraced each other for a few moments before Ripley had pulled away to try and speak. No words came out of her mouth, and so Jason just stood there, not saying a word, until, after she had. After she had said sorry, he didn't know what to say really. What could he say without hurting her feelings in some way. Or have an answer not be cold when she hears him say it. What would a reasonable answer be from him be?]]]
[center [size15 [font "Palatino Linotype" Ripley's face was alight with a smile from the time he walked out. She spun the ring on her finger, waiting for him to come closer, and took a step forward to meet him. He looked dirty as well, but nothing too bad. A shower would fix him just fine. She reached out and smoothed a hand over the dark hair atop his head, and pulled him close, pushing her body against his and wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug.]]]
[center [size15 [font "Palatino Linotype" Her head was spinning, her heart racing as she buried her face in his neck, and allowed the tears that were forming in her eyes to fall. "Y...yeah..." she affirmed into the skin of his neck. When she pulled back to look at him, she took a deep breath, and wiped the tears from her cheeks. Seeing him was like a glass of water after a year of dehydration. She wanted to tell him how sorry she was for disappearing, and how sorry she was for taking so long, but no words came.]]]
[center [size15 [font "Palatino Linotype" The silence was thick for a moment, before she finally found her voice. [b "I... I'm so sorry...."]]]
[center [size15 [font "Century Schoolbook" It had been six months since Jason last saw his best friend, Ripley. He thought she had been killed or had died and had been grieving ever since she left and had gotten the idea in his mind that she was dead. He sat on bed in the back room; door closed and his head in his hands. Jason missed Ripley. He couldn't stop missing her or thinking about her. She was his best friend, his only friend in the world. He went out for weeks searching for her and never came up with anything. Nothing lead him closer to her trail. That is until he heard the front door of the cottage open and his name being called out. His head rose from his hands, his browny-blue eyes looking at the door in front of him.]]]
[center [size15 [font "Century Schoolbook" Using his arms to boost himself from the bed, he rose, taking silent steps towards the door. A hand reached out and touched the cold, metal knob. His fingers ever so gradually turned it and the door slowly eased open. He looked at the front entrance. There was a girl standing there. He couldn't recognize who she was. He, himself looked different as well. Messy brown hair and dirt stains across his skin. He hadn't showered in a few days and since his last search came up with nothing we was diving into a dark place in his mind.]]]
[center [size14 [font "Century Schoolbook" Jason's eyes turned cold; changing colours. They were a dark brown-ish blue. He cleared his throat with a single cough and slowly started to walk towards the female at the front door. He stared at her, within a daze in his mind. It couldn't be; could it? The females' eyes reminded him of someone he knew; a friend he once had. No. It couldn't be Ripley, could it? He asked himself the same question over and over until he couldn't stand it anymore. [b "R-Ripley? I-Is that you?"] he asked, looking at her violet eyes once more, trying to find something about her to remind him of his best friend.]]]
(center It had been almost a year since the end of the war, 9 months since the Kingdoms began to rebuild, and 6 months since Ripley had gone into the Ruins. They were beautiful. At least to her. The ruins were filled with old buildings, magical treasures, and spell books. It was easy to lose track of time, and Ripley found herself quite lost within the first while of being there. While in the Ruins, Ripley had found many treasures, which she filled her bag with, but one in particular stood out to her. Called to her, as if it was made for her, and her alone. A ring.
(center She slipped the ring onto her finger, and that's when it began. She found her way out of the Ruins, yes... eventually. 6 months after she entered. She found her way home... Back to her only remaining companion. That is, she thought with a frown, if he's still there... It was hard to imagine him leaving the area, but not unthinkable. She came upon the small cottage they'd built right after the war. It was built for two people, in an area that was slowly starting to turn green again, and looked warm and cozy in comparison to where she'd come from.
(center (size15 (font "Century Schoolbook" She pushed the door open. Her clothes were dirty, just a simple t-shirt and pants, and her long brown hair was dusty and tangled, but her violet eyes were sparkling. "Hello?" she called out into the cottage, lingering in the doorway. If it wasn't his place anymore, then she didn't want to intrude. "Jason?"
