Ryah is a fresh singer, sight off the market, looking for fame and fortune. She's talented, but doesn't put her heart into what she does. After a few weeks of preforming in bars and small town concerts, Ryah decides to head to the big city, only to be abandoned by her band. Heart broken and crest falklen at her falling apart dream and life, she meets a quiet guitarist who is more than talented. They agree to work together, soon hitting the top of the market. He teaching Ryah that music is more than just a job; it's a passion that she had been denying hersenf. But is there another passion that they both hide for each other?

He smiled softly and leaned in as if to kiss her, but at the last second, kissed her cheek and slowly let her go in case her footing would be off. He also half expected a slap or something, the normal reaction, but in the longrun, he was sure she'd surprise him, she had for most of the night, why stop before bed?

Ryah, blinked, it taking her a few moments that he was partly serious. SWhe blushed and gave a small laugh. "Try it on your second week knowing me, then maybe. Mind you being bold and asking on the first night is quite something else." She blushed slightly, trying her best to remain confident.

Itachi slipped off of the couch and walked over to her. He looked into her eyes as he approached and gently, carefully slid an arm around her waist. "I'll only take the bed if you're in it with me." He looked and sounded dead serious, but he was waiting for a reaction before he laughed and gave away that it was a joke. One thing that wasn't a joke was the look of longing in his eyes, but that was something that could wait. He just smiled, his brightest, most seductive smile and waited for her to respond.

Ryah glanced over at his madn shook her head. "I promised you a bed so you'll get a bed. I'll take the couch then. Don;t you dare bother arguing with me either." He was pulling one of her crankey 'I'm right and nothing you can say will change that' moods.

Itachi smiled and shook his head. "I'll take care of the pull-out. Thanks, again, for letting me stay here." He said moving passed her and setting up the couch/bed, a little disgusted by the sight of sheets already in the bed. With a sigh he folded it back up and lounged on the couch. "I'll just sleep on the couch." He said almost redundantly as hey lay across it, realizing it was just a bit too small, but he could manage.

Ryah walked into the hotel and began leading him to her room, remaining silent in the quite halls. The moment she opened the door to her room though, she gave a loud yawn. "Jeez, I''m looking forward to a nice long sleep!" There was a pullout single couch and a double bed. "So do you want to pull out the couch into a bed or should I?"

Itachi had to chuckle at the sight. He'd only ever seen neon signs on clubs and love hotels. This was a shotty little three star that was at one time the latter. He had been told about this place by some of the older folks at the restaurant. Three star at a one star price because of the goings-on that happened there so many years ago. He wasn't sure if Ryah knew it, and he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to tell her. One thing he was constantly told about these types of hotels is that they 'had a magic' to them. Well, he'll find out sooner or later. But for now he was staring up at the darkening sky and sighed softly. Night time was such a drag, especially to someone who's afraid of being outside in the dark.

Ryah checked her cell phone quickly. "Almost ten." She then spotted the hotel and smiled. "And we're almost there." She gestured to the glowing neon sign that hung to the side of a building.

Itachi sighed and shrugged, looking up at the sky to enjoy the air and watch the fading light as it looked as though the sun were setting. "How late is it? Twighlight seems a bit early today unless we've been talking for longer than I've expected." He sighed softly and looked around again. He smiled at the sight of other people, glad that somehow this wasn't turning into some Twighlight Zone style nightmare.
