It was a trip to Europe. _____ offered to pay for ______'s trip since it was really expensive, but in return she had to sign a contract to make sure she paid him back. Little did she know that in the fine print were the words

Colt held her hand in his as he walked with her towards the area of the reception. WHen he looked around, he noticed everyone cheering on for them. Colt had a bright smile on his lips, hoping that everyone would at least appreciate him now that he was married to Sam. He led her onto the dance floor and he placed his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him as he gazed down into her eyes with his clear, blue ones. It was their favorite song playing as he led her across the floor. The place was silent as everyone watched them. It felt like they were slowly drifting on clouds. Colt managed to lead her until the end of the song when everyone began clapping.
She smiled at him happily. BUt after a bit she stood and stretched, as much as she could in the dress. "I think we should get going." She said and looped an arm through his. They walked out of the tent towards the park and when her mother caught sight of her she motioned to the band. "Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first time, you bride and groom!" People stood and applauded as Sam and Colt walked onto the portable dance floor. Their song began to play and it was time to dance, for the first time, as husband and wife.
"Oh really? That's great then because I thought it was just perfect too. My favorite part was seeing you walking down the aisle towards me. You dont know how relieved I was" he chuckled and then looked down at his tuxedo. It definitely cost him a fortune, but it was worth it. It as custom made just for him. But he thought Sam was the center of attention. She looked her best and Colt had never seeing her looking this amazing before. "Well you look soo perfect. Im used to seeing you in farm clothes all the time. This is definitely something Id like to see more of"
"It was perfect. And I'm glad we compromised on stuff. It was a beautiful wedding. It could almost pass as a normal wedding had I not been wearing black. But everything was perfect, a dream wedding." She said with a smile before she kissed him. "And you clean up real nice." She teased. He was always dressed nicely. She always looked like a shlub in her work clothes, dirty and muddy from being with the animals. But today they both looked good and it would be a wedding that everyone in town would remember and talk about for years to come.
Colt smiled up at her and then he kept his arms around her waist, kissing her cheek happily. He nuzzled his nose against hers and he chuckled "I know what you mean. You're right. Last night was the first time we hadnt slept next to each other in a year! I dont ever want that to happen again" he shook his head and then he ran his fingers down her arms. "SO what do you think? Best wedding ever? With your devilishly handsome husband?" he grinned and made a pose with his face as he sat back and relaxed for a while. He had been up all night as well, making sure the day would go perfect.
"In a bit." She said after he twirled her around. She had him sit back down on the couch and she sat down in his lap. Her arms came up to circle his neck and she nuzzled him affectionately. She didn't want to get up and leave just yet, in a little while maybe. "Let everyone get something to eat and enjoy a song or two. I've been up since six getting ready and I don't want to share you with an entire town just yet. Let's just stay here for a bit and rest. I really really missed you last night."
Colt headed into the tent with Sam and her mother, feeling so happy at that moment. Not only did Sam show up, she was his wife now. Take that all the guys that doubted she would marry him. He sat on one of the couches and took in the amazing feeling. First husband and wife dance? They were really married!
When her mother left, he kissed her lips so lovingly as he hugged her close. "I dont regret it one bit. You look so beautiful baby. I cant believe how well black fits into this wedding. I guess you were right" he held her hands and gave her a little twirl. "How about we go share our first dance?"
Sam squeaked as she was suddenly picked up and carried. Her mother ushered them back into the tent where Samantha had first gotten ready and she had Colt set her down.
"Everyone's going to get comfortable at the reception. Come over when you two are ready and you can be announced as husband and wife for your first dance together." Her mother said before everyone left the tent and it was just the two of them all alone. Sam smiled at Colt warmly and kissed him deeply.
"So, you regretting your decision to marry me yet?" She asked him teasingly.
Colt listened to her say her vows and he was just about the happiest guy in the world at that moment. Of course the first parts of her vows he could understand, but now they were here and finally being brought together. Once they exchanged rings and was pronounced husband and wife, he walked closer to her, his hands slowly lifting up her veil to see her beautiful face. He leaned in and kissed her so passionately as he hugged his arms around her waist, slowly pulling away as the crowd cheered.
Colt gazed up at her and grinned "I love you so much!" he then reached down and lifted her into his arms, facing the crowd happily as he cheered. He then walked her down the aisle, carrying her in his arms as he led her to the end. Everyone was screaming, whistling, and cheering. "Thanks everyone for coming. The reception is further down towards the park!" he placed Sam down and then led everyone down to the party taking place outdoors.
"Colt. When we first met you were the most stubborn, rude, self centered man I had ever met and I didn't want to be anywhere near you." That got a decent laugh from everyone watching. "But," she added when the laughter died. "As I got to know you I got to learn about who you really were and who you wanted to be. We both changed in the many months we were together and we grew even when we were apart. BUt I never want to grow any more unless it's with you next to me. I love you Colt and I'm sorry it took us this long to get here."
"Lovely." The justice of the peace said. "May we have the rings?" He asked and the maid of honor and the best man handed over the rings. "Do you, Colt, take Samantha to be your lawfully wedded wife? For better or for worse? In sickness and in health? For richer or for poorer? Until death do you part?" When Colt said I do Samantha slid his ring on. " And do you, Samantha, take Colt to be your lawfully wedded husband? For better or for worse? In sickness and in health? For richer or for poorer? Until death do you part?"
"I do." And Colt slid on her ring.
"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." She waited for colt to lift her veil before she met him half way for the kiss, and the crowd cheered.
Colt was waiting at the altar, Dale beside him as his best man as he took in a deep breath. He was so nervous and he didnt even know why. Maybe it was just because he wanted every bit of this wedding to be as perfect as it could be. Not only was he going to marry the most beautiful girl he's ever met, but today was their day. Nothing else in the world mattered at that moment except for the fact that she had to show up.
When Colt heard the music beginning to play, he glanced at the entrance to the aisle as he saw Sam coming out in her amazing black dress. She looked stunning, so much prettier than he ever thought possible. This was their day. She had all she wanted. No white dresses, a black and red theme, and a justice of the peace. She had to be just as happy as he was at that moment.
When her father handed her off, he took her hand and stood before the justice of the peace. As he spoke, Colt just couldnt keep his eye away from Sam. She was so beautiful. He then gazed up into her eyes and he spoke from his heart.
"Sam.....ever since the day we met...I just knew that I wanted you all for myself. I know that we've been through so much together, all the conflicts and the fighting. But all of that doesnt matter because we grew so much closer together. I fell in love with you in college and I shouldnt have ever left your side. We belong together and I know that for a fact. I, Colt, choose you Sam to be my wife, to respect you in your successes and in your failures, to care for you in sickness and in health, to nurture you, and to grow with you throughout the seasons of life" he spoke with a huge smile on his lips.
"Oh sweety! You look beautiful!" her mother said as she finished setting the veil in Samantha's hair.
"Thanks mom." She said and grabbed her bouquet of flowers, lilacs.
"alright, I'll go out and get the band started and you know what to do." Her mother said and gave her a kiss on the cheek before she left. Samantha took one last look in the mirror before she turned and left the room to head outside. A tent had been used for the bride's room and it was here that she waited with her bride's maids. The music began and her bride's maids exited one by one. Her father came and took her arm and when the bride's march started he led her out.
All of the guests stood as she walked down the aisle and the march ended when she reached the flowered arch. He gave her a kiss on the cheek before handing her over to Colt. She smiled at him under the veil before they turned to face the justive of the peace.
"Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the marraige of Samantha and Colt." and in a hushed voice. "and is this one going to get finised?" He asked Samantha with a smile. She giggled and nodded. "Good. Now, Would the bride and groom like to exchange vows if they have any?"
Colt had stayed at home, making sure that all of the preparations were ready before looking up to see Dale come out of their guest bedroom. Colt had been ready for this day for the past year and he's been wanting to just be this girl's husband, to spend everyday with her forever. Dale was dressed in a lovely black suit with a red tie. He managed to bring a team to do Colt's hair and make him look his best for his wife.
As Colt stepped out of his room, he was looking so dashing in his tuxedo. He had a red blazer with black outlines at the ends, he wore a black shirt beneath with a lovely red bowtie. His hair was slicked back, making a lovely brushed over look with some fluff. It was parted off to the side and he's never looked his best. Once they were ready, he drove Dale to the garden, just outside of the park. Everything was perfect. There was a red carpet down the aisle, black and red roses all over the place, and all of the town was there.
Colt took his place at the altar, feeling his palms getting sweaty. He really hoped that Sam would show up for this wedding at least.
The night before the wedding her mother had come to pick her up. It was tradition that the man never saw his bride twenty four hours before the ceremony. So, she spent most of the day and all night at home with her parents and the next day they brought her to the salon to get her ready. All of the preporations were ready and the ceremony was set up in the town garden just outside the park. Samantha was a bundle of nerves and excitement as she sat getting her hair curled. She was just so excited that it was her wedding day.
